Abstract: The face is that the identity of someone. The tactic to appear out this physical feature has seen an exquisite change since the advent of the image processing method. Attendance is monitored in every school, college and library. The regular method for attendance is for teachers to call student name & mark attendance. Nowadays, AI has been explored for computer vision-related applications. So, we use the neural network concept in Face recognition for automatically attendance marking systems. This project will perform the face recognition and face detection algorithms, to generate the computer systems strength of acquiring and recognizing human faces fast, accurately, and precisely in live streams so that the systems can be used in the marking attendance

UNSTRUCTURED Pain is a subjective phenomenon caused/perceived centrally and modified by physical, physiological, or social influences. Currently, the most commonly used approaches for pain measurement rely on self-reporting of pain level on a discrete rating scale. This provides a subjective and only semi-quantitative indicator of pain. This paper presents an approach that combines self-reported pain with pain-related biomarkers to be obtained from biosensors (in development) and possibly other sources of evidence to provide more dependable estimates of experienced pain, a clinical decision support system. We illustrate the approach using a Bayes network, but also describe other artificial intelligence (AI) methods that provide other ways to combine evidence. We also propose an optimization approach for tuning the AI method parameters (opaque to clinicians) so as to best approximate the kinds of outputs most useful to medical practitioners. We present some data from a sample of 379 patients that illustrate several evidence patterns we may expect in real healthcare situations. The majority (79.7%) of our patients show consistent evidence suggesting this biomarker approach may be reasonable. We also found five patterns of inconsistent evidence. These suggest a direction for further exploration. Finally, we sketch out an approach for collecting medical experts’ guidance as to the way the combined evidence might be presented so as to provide the most useful guidance (also needed for any optimization approach). We recognize that one possible outcome may be that all this approach may be able to provide is a quantified measure of the extent to which the evidence is consistent or not, leaving the final decision to the clinicians (where it must reside). Pointers to additional sources of evidence might also be possible in some situations.

By programming both the data plane and the control plane, network operators can customize their networks based on their needs, regardless of the hardware manufacturer. Control plane programming, a major component of the SDN (Software Defined Network) concept, has been developed for more than 10 years and successfully implemented in real networks. Efforts to develop reconfigurable data planes and high-level network programming languages make it truly possible to program data planes. Therefore, the programmable data planes and SDNs offer great flexibility in network customization, allowing many innovations to be introduced on the network. The general focus of research on the data plane is data-plane abstractions, languages and compilers, data plane algorithms, and applications. This paper outlines some emerging applications on the data plane and offers opportunities for further improvement and optimization.

Abstract Looking at 2030, the landscape of technology will be dominated by paradigms like 6G, Super-IoT (Internet of Things) and Tactile Internet (TI). From the perspective of Hardware (HW) components technologies, the turning into reality of such scenarios will demand for a radical reconceptualization of devices, sub-systems and systems, probably modifying the concept of HW itself. Driven by the target of taking initial steps in the direction of such future applications, this work discusses a 4 bit RF power step attenuator entirely realized in RF-MEMS technology. Physical samples are fabricated in a surface micromachining technology and rely on electrostatically actuated cantilevered MEMS ohmic switches to select or short resistive loads placed along the RF line. Fabricated devices are tested and validated up to 30 GHz, while simulations are discussed up to 60 GHz for the full set of allowed configurations. Despite a few technology non-idealities, the network shows levels of attenuation with a flatness as good as 1 dB over 60 GHz frequency span. The measured and simulated data reported in this work offer important indications on how to improve the network concept, both at technology and design level.

In this paper an algorithm for analysis and design of a structured irrigation network and a traditional irrigation network are developed on the basis of the gradually varied flow analysis of the flow in the entire network. The model developed brings advantages of the structured irrigation network concept and also allows the user to analyses and design the flow distribution in the entire network. Model built around the gradually varied flow analysis model with a tree network is divided into a group based on network consisting of an initial value problem and also a boundary value problem with junctions as the reconciled boundaries. The essence of the model is that it can handle several types of structures such as head regulators, duckbill weirs in the main canal, an open flume, a pipe semi module, a pipe outlet with and without a sleeve, proportional distributors and tail clusters in the offtakes. These structures are very important from the standpoint of analysis and design for successful implementation of a structured irrigation network on an existing system and also for analysis and design of a traditional irrigation system consisting of many gates and other structures. The focus of this paper is the efficacy of the water management in ensuring equitable distribution of flow at different discharges released at the head works.

The article shows that the ongoing processes of networkization, digitalization and hybridization lead to the creation of such a sociotechnical phenomenon as information and analytical platforms, which actualize a new type of social network relations between authorities and citizens in the public space of communications. In these conditions, a new methodology of public administration is required, which would take into account the digital realities of the modern world. According to the authors, the new concept of public administration should be built taking into account the development of a methodology for the following mutually conditioned processes: 1) creation of information and analytical platforms of the digital society; 2) formation of social structures in the network space; 3) configuration of relational networks for solving socially significant problems. It should be based on the actor-network concept and the digitalization ethics, the social network analysis, the relational sociology, the concept of figuration, the fractal-evolutionary concept, the concept of configuring a relational network of stakeholders.

Bitcoin spearheaded the rise of cryptocurrencies since it was first launched in 2009. The concept of bitcoin as digital currency was first published publicly in the 2008 well-known whitepaper by pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. The whitepaper outlined a self-serving peer-to-peer transaction network concept based on cryptographic proof instead of trust, allowing any two willing parties to transact directly with each other without the need for a trusted third party such as financial institutions. Since then, thousands of cryptocurrencies have been launched mostly through token offerings as an alternative approach of raising funds for blockchain, technology projects, and start-ups. People are holding cryptocurrencies mostly as digital asset investments. Some individuals made huge profits from buying cryptocurrencies at their initial offerings and sold later when the prices increased. Some crypto millionaires were born from such trades. However, many people lost their investment as well due to many factors. Some were due to bad investment decisions, and some fall into scams and investment programs run by dishonest peoplewith promises of highly lucrative returns. As trading and owning cryptocurrencies are becoming common, governments and policymakers around the world are coming up with proper and comprehensive regulations for cryptocurrencies. In the context of Malaysia, in which zakat collections and distributions are of state matters, this paper discusses the implementation of zakat payment platform for cryptocurrencies at zakat institutions. This paper seeks to contribute to the academic development, blockchain technology, and zakat management.

Cryptocurrencies redefined how money can be stored and transferred among users. However, public blockchain-based cryptocurrencies suffer from high transaction waiting times and fees. To address these challenges, the payment channel network concept is touted as the most viable solution to be used for micro-payments. The idea is exchanging the ownership of money by keeping the state of the accounts locally which provides transaction approvals in seconds. Such attention on payment channel networks has inspired many recent studies that focus on how to design them and allocate channels such that the transactions will be secure and efficient. However, as payment channel networks are emerging and reaching a large number of users, privacy issues are becoming more relevant, this raises concerns about exposing not only individual habits but also businesses' revenues. In this paper, we first propose a categorization of the existing payment networks formed on top of blockchain-backed cryptocurrencies. After discussing several emerging attacks on user/business privacy in these payment channel networks, we qualitatively evaluate them based on a number of privacy metrics that relate to our case. Based on the discussions on the strengths and weaknesses of the approaches, we offer possible directions for research for the future of privacy based payment channel networks.
