Newcastle disease is caused by Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) leads to severe morbidity and mortality in poultry throughout the world and considered as lentogenic, mesogenic or velogenic based on the mean death of the chicken embryo. The NDV velogenic strain is deadly endemic in Pakistan. Poultry is considered as the second major industry in Pakistan having annual growth of 8-10%. Unfortunately, the increase of NDV cases leads to severe cost impact, loss of production and livelihood. This review highlights the current status and epidemiology of NDV in Pakistan. Various genotypes and sub-genotypes have been identified in Pakistan. Various ND cases have been reported in Pakistan which has very bad consequences on the economy and dealing of poultry products.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0 is extremely relevant and important in manufacturing for several reasons. Failing to adopt the technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution can cause organizations to fall behind, as their operations are not digitized enough in benchmarking competitors. A major industry as bicycle manufacturing needs to be transformed into a digital factory in order to keep up with the evolving technology. The objectives of this research are in designing a 3D digital mock up and Augmented Reality (AR) for bicycle frame production in the form of digital factory for increasing production capability by decreasing the break-even point whilst avoiding Covid-19 contraction using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and Unity 3D programs. This research constructed three alternative digital factory layouts that are designed by using a 3D simulation program. The risk of Covid-19 contraction points and the three layouts of cost per unit are analyzed. The results show that the break-even point of the first to the third layouts with Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) are 26,580, 26,322 and 25,354 units respectively. The result of the risk about Covid-19 contraction points from the first to the third layout with AGV are 21,272, 2,872 and 0 points respectively. This means the most appropriate layout for bicycle frame production is the third layout due to the best break-even point that can significantly avoid Covid-19 contraction. The benefit of this research is to integrate a 3D digital mock up, AR and Cobot including AGV to assist the resilience of operations with a dynamic industrial environment.

The open platform communications unified architecture (OPC UA) is a major industry-standard middleware based on the request–reply pattern, and the data distribution service (DDS) is an industry standard in the publish–subscribe form. The OPC UA cannot replace fieldbuses at the control and field levels. To facilitate real-time connectionless operation, the OPC Foundation added the publish–subscribe model—a new specification that supports broker functions, such as message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT), and advanced message queuing protocol (AMQP)—to the OPC UA Part 14 standard. This paper proposes a protocol converter for incorporation into the application layer of the DDS subscriber to facilitate interoperability among publisher–subscriber pairs. The proposed converter comprises a DDS gateway and bridge. The former exists inside the MQTT and AMQP brokers, which convert OPC UA publisher data into DDS messages prior to passing them on to the DDS subscriber. The DDS bridge passes the messages received from the DDS gateway to the OPC UA subscriber in the corresponding DDS application layer. The results reported in existing studies, and those obtained using the proposed converter, allow all devices supporting the OPC UA and OPC UA PubSub standards to realize DDS publish–subscribe interoperability.

In the service sector, the specialty of tourism presents itself as a major industry for the use and innovation of technology. But behind its growth, there are also climate risks that come without compromise. The Lombok Earthquake was the beginning of the 2018 Lombok Earthquake series which was triggered by an upswing activity in the north of Lombok. This claimed many lives and damaged more than 10,000 buildings. News of the destruction and hit Lombok tourism as well as terrorizing tourists in planning tours to Lombok, quickly spread the news to foreign countries. The economic impact of the earthquake, the damage to the losses suffered by tourism business actors and the restoration of the image of the destination, requires years of recovery. This paper intends to deepen the damage done to the island of Lombok, by suggesting some actions that can minimize the effects of the disaster in order to re-attract tourists and thus restore the Indonesian economy. Keywords:  Crisis management; Safety and Security Crisis; Destination Image

BACKGROUND: Hospitality& Tourism industry is a major industry contributing to 10% of the GDP of the country. wherein they have a significant economic, social, and ecological impact on nature. Today owing to the Pandemic, this sector is badly hit due to the closure of tourism operations and restricted movement of people across the country and globally. Tourism and hospitality definitely add to the generation of waste, but if managed systematically the environment can be protected from damage. Today mankind is hit by a virus and the reason is we have not respected the environment. Therefore, in recent years, the Indian Government has taken strict measures and made mandatory guidelines for hotels in tourist spots to comply with all environment-friendly practices like proper disposal of wet & dry garbage, recycling of water, sewage treatment plants installation in premises, horticulture, and minimal use of plastic, etc. Five Star hotels were generally assumed as a place to enjoy the vacation, using a swimming pool, and enjoying world cuisine but nowadays people have started asking for recycling paper, recycled linen, recycled amenities in the room, etc. With this changing trend, hotels need to adapt to a new approach and start using green initiatives which give rise to green and eco-friendly hotels. This in turn would benefit mankind, environment and a better future will be passed on as a legacy to coming generations. This paper, therefore, analyses the environment-friendly practices of selected hotels of Delhi and the awareness among the staff.
