The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the whole world has had a huge impact on the economy. Household consumption and the fulfillment of basic needs are a problem in the midst of restrictions on social mobility and rampant cases of layoffs. Emergency funds as a fulfillment of needs become important in the midst of a situation of uncertainty about a crisis that will never end. Pawn transactions are a way to get cash by mortgaging their belongings. The rahn contract already exists at BPRS Amanah Ummah and is practiced to help customers in particular and the public in general to obtain direct funds in accordance with sharia principles. This research is a qualitative research that aims to find out whether Covid-19 affects customer interest in sharia gold pawn products and what factors affect customer interest in sharia gold pawn products (rahn) in the Covid-19 era at BPRS Amanah Ummah. Money data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, questionnaires and observations. The employees of BPRS Amanah Ummah and customers who made pawn transactions became research respondents. The results showed that the covid-19 pandemic caused a decrease in the number of customers. Gold pawn customer data calculated from before and after Covid-19 stated that in 2019-2020 the total pawn customers were 7068 and from 2020-2021 as many as 6960 there was a decrease of 108 gold pawn customers. The economic factor is one of the most important factors in using the pawn services available at the Amanah Ummah BPRS. Economic factors include economic needs or economic problems that hit customers due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This economic factor can be seen by the economic problems it causes that still affect the motives that determine the customer's decision to pawn the goods.

Effective management of emergency funds is needed during the global Covid-19 pandemic, which is currently happening in almost all corners of the world. This pandemic has an impact on sluggish economic activity which demands immediate solutions for improvements, both from a normative and practical side. Education related to emergency funds in order to increase public knowledge can be an urgent solution to be carried out immediately. One of the potential elements of society that is rarely developed to be used as a solution for economic improvement in the pandemic era is the youth because the majority of youth do not yet have an unstable income so they are vulnerable to being economically affected during the pandemic. The purpose of this program is to assist the management of emergency funds during a pandemic, both with online entrepreneurship development and effective investment arrangements. 68 young man from Solo and around are participate in this program. The method used in the implementation of the program is technical assistants by opening online classes with sources from academics and practitioners. This method consists of the preparation stage with coordination, the implementation stage with the creation of a curriculum, the execution of webinars and observations and the evaluation stage. This program collaborates with the NGO Solo Bersimfoni as an organization that cares for Indonesia's young generation. The expected benefit from this program is increased knowledge regarding the management of emergency funds in times of a global pandemic which is needed in order to rebuild a stable economy during and after a pandemic. The result of this program is the transfer of financial management knowledge to young people, especially students around Solo Raya. The conclusion obtained from the implementation of the post-program survey is that care is still needed to teach financial independence during the pandemic for youth. Climate variability is a global phenomenon that is posing a threat to the infrastructure and agricultural sector. Intense precipitation often results in the deterioration of rural road infrastructure resulting in inaccessibility. Rainfall and temperature data from 1989 to 2019 was obtained from Kenya Meteorological Department. Data on Greenleaf and cost of repairs and maintenances are from selected tea factories managed by Kenya Tea Development Agency. Data on perception is based on a questionnaire survey of 398 randomly selected tea farmers. Results show that climate variability is experienced in Kericho (p < 0.005). There is a varsity variation in mean maximum temperatures F(0.05, 29) ꞊ 5.564 (p ꞊ 0.009) and mean minimum temperature F(29) =8.503 (p ꞊  0.000). However, the linear regression analysis shows that rainfall has decreased (y ꞊ 2.5476x - 40.778) while the temperature has increased (y ꞊ 0.028x - 0.4473). There is a significant positive correlation between the amount of rainfall and cost of repairs and maintenances for five factories (r ꞊ 0.122, r = 0.046, r = 0.029, r = 0.255) except one (r = -.261, p ꞊ .466). Therefore, the climate has significantly varied from 1989-2019 and heavy rains occur periodically that damage rural tea roads, thus impacting negatively on tea transportation. There is a need, therefore, for heavy investment of emergency funds for repair and maintenance of rural tea roads based on rainfall variability and heavy rain return period pattern.

The study examined the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on selected small and medium enterprises in Kaduna metropolis-Nigeria. Three essentials- food and consumables, pharmaceuticals, oil, and gas in the Kaduna metropolis were purposively sampled. Data were collected with the administration of a structured set of questionnaires on 110 SMEs which were selected purposively. Results indicated that the enterprises experienced a moderate reduction in production and sales during the lockdown. It was also reported that the enterprises experienced a spike in the reduction of contracts and deliveries. In the light of the foregoing, it was recommended that policymakers and all stakeholders in SMEs in Nigeria should set aside emergency funds targeting SMEs in the country. Deferment of taxes or waiver of taxes, lower interest rates could also be embarked on by the appropriate policymakers to make SMEs remain afloat during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product is minus 5.32% and this is a decline at the lowest level for the last 17 years. From a socio- economic perspective, several institutions predict an additional 1.16 million (+ 0.44%) and 9.6 million (+ 3.6%) poor people in 2020, depending on the degree of economic damage that will occur. Likewise, the number of unemployed is expected to increase by 2.91 Million (2.17% of the workforce) to 5.23 million (3.79% of the workforce) in 2020 (Indonesia, 2020). According to the OECD Survey, the opinion that Indonesia is not ready to face an economic crisis is one indicator because the emergency funds from Indonesia are only sufficient for one week. The research method in this paper is qualitative research and research and development methods as the development of the Level Up application. Level Up is an application that aims to maintain public financial resilience. Level Up has several features, such as Financial Planning, Business Development, Brand Development and Consultation. The Level Up application has advantages when compared to other similar applications, such as in Level Up there is a Consultation feature related to psychology, Business Development and Brand Development related to the development of a business and Brand Development related to the development of a business and brand. Abstract Utilization of high-quality maternal care is an important link along the pathway from increased facility-based delivery to improved maternal health outcomes, however women in Nairobi do not all deliver in the highest quality facilities available to them. We explored whether women living in peri-urban Nairobi who live nearby to high-quality facilities bypassed, or travelled farther than, their nearest high technical quality facility using survey data collected before and after delivery from women (n = 358) and from facility assessments (n = 59). We defined the nearest high technical quality facility as the nearest Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC) capable facility to each woman’s neighbourhood. We compared women who delivered in their nearest CEmONC (n = 44) to women who bypassed their nearest CEmONC to deliver in a facility that was farther away (n = 200). Among bypassers, 131 (65.5%) women delivered in farther non-CEmONC facilities with lower technical quality and 69 (34.5%) delivered in farther CEmONCs with higher technical quality capacity compared to their nearby CEmONCs. Bypassers rated their delivery experience higher than non-bypassers. Women who bypassed to deliver in non-CEmONCs were less likely to have completed four antenatal care visits and to consider delivering in any CEmONC prior to delivery while women who bypassed to deliver in farther CEmONCs paid more for delivery and were more likely to report being able to access emergency funds compared to non-bypassers. Our findings suggest that women in peri-urban Nairobi bypassed their nearest CEmONC facilities in favour of delivering in facilities that provided better non-technical quality care. Bypassers with access to financial resources were also able to deliver in facilities with higher technical quality care. Policies that improve women’s delivery experience and ensure that information about facility technical quality is widely distributed may be critical to increase the utilization of high-quality maternity facilities.

In the context of reduced public transport capacity in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, governments are scrambling to enable walking and cycling while adhering to physical distancing guidelines. Many pop-up options exist. Of these, road space reallocation represents a ‘quick win’ for cities with ‘spare space’ along continuous road sections that have high latent cycling potential. We developed methods to condense the complexity of city networks down to the most promising roads for road space reallocation schemes. The resulting Rapid Cycleway Prioritisation Tool has been deployed for all cities in England to help prioritise emergency funds for new cycleways nationwide. The methods and concepts could be used to support investment in pop-up infrastructure in cities worldwide.
