A micro-Coriolis mass flow sensor is a resonating device that measures small mass flows of fluid. A large vibration amplitude is desired as the Coriolis forces due to mass flow and, accordingly, the signal-to-noise ratio, are directly proportional to the vibration amplitude. Therefore, it is important to maximize the quality factor Q so that a large vibration amplitude can be achieved without requiring high actuation voltages and high power consumption. This paper presents an investigation of the Q factor of different devices in different resonant modes. Q factors were measured both at atmospheric pressure and in vacuum. The measurement results are compared with theoretical predictions. In the atmospheric environment, the Q factor increases when the resonance frequency increases. When reducing the pressure from 1 to 0.1 , the Q factor almost doubles. At even lower pressures, the Q factor is inversely proportional to the pressure until intrinsic effects start to dominate, resulting in a maximum Q factor of approximately 7200.

In this work, the corrosion behavior and mechanical properties of 30CrMnSiA high-strength steel under a harsh marine atmosphere environment were systematically studied using accelerated test technology, along with corrosion kinetic analysis, microstructure and phase composition analysis, electrochemical measurements, and mechanical property tests. The influence of corrosion time on corrosion kinetics was characterized by the weight loss method. The corrosion layer and its product evolution were analyzed by SEM, EDS, XRD, and XPS. The corrosion behavior of steel was studied by a potentiodynamic polarization curve and EIS. Finally, the influence of corrosion on mechanical properties was studied by tensile and fatigue tests. The results show that 30CrMnSiA high strength steel has good corrosion resistance in a harsh marine atmosphere environment. Its corrosion behavior is cyclical: the outer rust layer exfoliated, the inner rust layer became the outer rust layer, and the matrix became inner rust due to the attack by the corrosive medium. The rust layer had a great protective effect on the matrix. The mechanical properties of 30CrMnSiA high-strength steel were reduced under the corrosive environment, and corrosion had a significant effect on its fatigue resistance.

The conflict between economic growth and environmental pollution has become a considerable bottleneck to future development throughout the world. The industrial structure may become the possible key factor in resolving the contradiction. Using the daily data of air quality from January to April in 2019 and 2020, we used the DID model to identify the effects of industrial structure on air quality by taking the COVID-19 pandemic as a quasi-experiment. The results show that, first, the impact of profit of the secondary industry on air quality is ten times higher than that of the tertiary industry. Therefore, the secondary industry is the main factor causing air pollution. Second, the effect of the reduction in the secondary industry on the improvement of air quality is better than that of the tertiary industry in Beijing. Therefore, the implementation of Beijing’s non-capital function relief policy is timely and reasonable, and the adjustment of the industrial structure is effective in the improvement of air quality. Third, PM2.5, NO2, and CO are affected by the secondary and tertiary industries, where PM2.5 is affected most seriously by the second industry. Therefore, the transformation from the secondary industry to the tertiary industry can not only solve the problem of unemployment but also relieve the haze. Fourth, the result of O3 is in opposition to other pollutants. The probable reason is that the decrease of PM2.5 would lead to an increase in the O3 concentration. Therefore, it is difficult to reduce O3 concentrationby production limitation and it is urgent to formulate scientific methods to deal with O3 pollution. Fifth, the air quality in the surrounding areas can also influence Beijing. As Hebei is a key area to undertake Beijing’s industry, the deterioration of its air quality would also bring pressure to Beijing’s atmospheric environment. Therefore, in the process of industrial adjustment, the selection of appropriate regions for undertaking industries is very essential, which is worth our further discussion.

The TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument (TROPOMI) aboard the Sentinel-5 Precursor satellite has been used to detect the atmospheric environment since 2017, and it is of great significance to investigate the accuracy of its products. In this work, we present comparisons between TROPOMI tropospheric NO2 and total SO2 products against ground-based MAX-DOAS at a single site (Xianghe) and OMI products over a seriously polluted region (North China Plain, NCP) in China. The results show that both NO2 and SO2 data from three datasets exhibit a similar tendency and seasonality. In addition, TROPOMI tropospheric NO2 columns are generally underestimated compared with collocated MAX-DOAS and OMI data by about 30–60%. In contrast to NO2, the monthly average SO2 retrieved from TROPOMI is larger than MAX-DOAS and OMI, with a mean bias of 2.41 (153.8%) and 2.17 × 1016 molec cm−2 (120.7%), respectively. All the results demonstrated that the TROPOMI NO2 as well as the SO2 algorithms need to be further improved. Thus, to ensure reliable analysis in NCP area, a correction method has been proposed and applied to TROPOMI Level 3 data. The revised datasets agree reasonably well with OMI observations (R > 0.95 for NO2, and R > 0.85 for SO2) over the NCP region and have smaller mean biases with MAX-DOAS. In the application during COVID-19 pandemic, it showed that the NO2 column in January-April 2020 decreased by almost 25–45% compared to the same period in 2019 due to the lockdown for COVID-19, and there was an apparent rebound of nearly 15–50% during 2021. In contrast, a marginal change of the corresponding SO2 is revealed in the NCP region. It signifies that short-term control measures are expected to have more effects on NO2 reduction than SO2; conversely, we need to recognize that although the COVID-19 lockdown measures improved air quality in the short term, the pollution status will rebound to its previous level once industrial and human activities return to normal.

The sea atmosphere environment will affect the Ka frequency channel in TT&C. Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the Marine atmospheric environment. Attenuation models of water vapor solubility and rainfall intensity are established. The variation characteristics of atmospheric environment and the estimation method of rainfall intensity are studied. Finally, the influence of Marine atmosphere on Ka-band channel is simulated and analyzed. The simulation results show that different elevation angles have different effects on Ka-band channels. The influence result decreases gradually with the elevation Angle increasing.

Abstract At present, China’s urban heating system consumes a lot of energy and is seriously polluted. Our government is working hard to develop urban natural gas regional heating systems to replace traditional coal-fired heating to reduce the serious impact of coal combustion emissions on the urban atmospheric environment during the heating season. On this basis, the characteristics of traditional energy efficiency comparison methods and the problems encountered by these traditional methods in the energy efficiency analysis and application of distributed energy cold, hot and power multigeneration systems in China are analyzed, and the comparable performance efficiency analysis methods suitable for the application of cold, hot and hot power multiple production applications of distributed energy are studied.

The concentration of trace gases in the atmospheric environment is extremely low, but it has a great impact on the living environment of organisms. Photoacoustic spectroscopy has attracted extensive attention in the field of trace gas detection because of its high sensitivity, good selectivity, and fast response. As the core of a photoacoustic detection setup, the photoacoustic cell has a significant impact on detection performance. To improve detection sensitivity, a sphere-tube coupled photoacoustic cell (STPAC) was developed, which was mainly composed of a diffuse-reflective sphere and an acoustic resonance tube. Modulated light was reflected multiple times in the sphere to increase optical path, and photoacoustic (PA) signals were further amplified by the tube. Based on STPAC, a PA gas detection setup was built with a laser diode (LD) at 450 nm as the light source. The experimental results showed that the minimum detection limit (noise equivalent concentration, NEC) of NO2 was ~0.7 parts per billion (ppb). Compared with the T-type PA cell (TPAC) in which the modulated light passed through the sphere, the signal-to-noise ratio of STPAC was increased by an order of magnitude at the same concentration of the NO2 sample.
