This article aims to consider key concepts and models from the theory of social systems that can be used as a theoretical basis for conducting cultural and anthropological research. Based on the analysis of a number of authoritative sources, attention was focused on the activity approach, which takes into account the role of the elements of the system (a person, specific communities and groups) in its functioning and change. In addition, the issue of the dynamics of social systems of different types (classical, nonclassical and postclassical) was analyzed, which allows you to pay attention to the transformations taking place in a modern multicultural urban society or the traditional society of an ethnic village, to identify their regularity, to fix the direction. Also in this work, models of social transformations in culture are considered - Westernization, destabilization, assimilative-religious, and in our opinion the most effective is the modernization-traditionalist model, the elements of which contribute to the preservation of traditional value dominants and allow you to develop a program for the sustainable development of a state, region or small territory in the global world.

The aim of the study is to reveal the ways of representing the concept of “society” in the works of the genre art in the Russian painting of the 1860-1870s. The research is carried out using the method of philosophical and art history analysis of works of fine art. The main object of the study is the painting “Rural procession on Easter” by Vasiliy G. Perov. The study describes the specific features of the genre art in the Russian painting of the 19th century. The research shows how works of the genre art realize their didactive and educating functions. A theoretical analysis of the concepts of “everyday life”, “being”, “society” made it possible to conclude how genre painting of the 19th century models both an ideal person who is in co-existence with the absolute spirit, and a person who is far from the ideal. In the research the authors reveal two worldview models that developed in Russian painting in the 1860-1870s: a model of a perfect human being and a model of a person who is mired in everyday life. The study proves that the latter human model is represented in index signs of characters that worship only material values. The study investigates the versatility of the pictorial model of the Russian society, represented not only as a community absorbed in the routine of the everyday life, but also as a group of people whose life is elevated upwards to the true existence. The research has resulted in the typology of characters of paintings of the genre art, where the type of the character depends on the model of the society represented by the work of art. In its conclusion the study discloses two models of representing the society in Russian painting of the genre art in the 19th century. According to the first model, the everyday principle acts as an absorber of being. The second model represents a society in which everyday life manifests true existence, in harmony with nature and filled with the divine essence.

The study is devoted to identifying the level of cultural continuity of the Khakass people on the territory of the Republic of Khakassia using the example of wedding traditions. At the moment, in the conditions of the modern world, namely urbanization and globalization, it is becoming increasingly difficult for peoples to preserve their traditions that determine the individuality of each ethnic group. In such conditions, the folk culture with each generation can be forgotten, which also faced the Khakass, whose native language is forgotten, and many national holidays go into the background. To find out how important it is for these people to preserve their native traditions, an online survey was conducted using a questionnaire through a Google form. 30 Khakassians aged 18 to 50 years old (where the average age was 34), living in the central and southern parts of Khakassia, took part. In total, 21 women and 9 men participated (70% and 30%, respectively). Thanks to the survey, it was possible to identify a fairly high level of cultural continuity of the Khakass people. The absolute number of respondents consider it important to preserve national traditions. The survey was based on the wedding characteristics of the Khakass people, so 89.6% were able to give specific examples of traditions. Among the respondents, 83.3% of the weddings were held with elements of Khakass traditions, or they are only planning to introduce these elements for a future wedding. This indicates that many Khakass in practice observe and honor wedding traditions, thereby preserving and passing on this knowledge to the next generations. From the study it became clear that traditions are observed more in villages (72.2%) than in cities (27.8%).
