The paper presents the results of the effectiveness of anti-stress therapy and its economic assessment when growing broiler chickens in a poultry farming against the background of the use of a stress-protector antioxidant-complex (SPAO-complex) in broiler chickens. The pharmacological complex was used in the form of a drink at a dose of 185 mg/kg of live weight for 5 days during periods of the greatest influence of stress factors, namely at the stage of vaccination associated with the greatest immunological load (at 10-14 days of age) and (or) at the stage of final fattening. The effectiveness of antistress therapy was assessed by the morphological parameters of poultry blood, leukocyte indices, the yield of poultry meat and the quality of carcasses. The economic efficiency was assessed by the ratio of the economic effect and veterinary costs. A relative decrease in the total level of leukocytes and a change in leukocytes of different types was found: a decrease in agranulocytes and an increase in agranulocytes, a decrease in the value of the Krebs index, the leukocyte index of intoxication, an increase in the lymphocyte index, the ratio of agranulocytes and granulocytes and lymphocyte-granulocyte index. The use of the SPAO-complex in broiler chickens in the form of a drink at a dose of 185 mg/kg of live weight for 5 days due to the growth rate and an increase in live weight helped to reduce the impact of stress factors and led to an increase in meat yield by 2.34-4.92% and a decrease in injuries before slaughter, which was reflected in a decrease in the level of carcass defect from 20-40%. It influenced the value of the economic effect which amounted to 70.08-145.2 rubles. The value of veterinary costs for different anti-stress therapy regimens ranged from 9.35 to 101.32 rubles. The economic efficiency of using the SPAO-complex at a dose of 185 mg/kg of live weight per day for 5 days per one ruble of costs during the period of intensive vaccination was 16.7 rubles, during the period of final fattening it was 0.81 rubles and during periods of intensive vaccination and final fattening it was 1.52 rubles.

This article presents the results of studying the impact of housing and feeding conditions on broiler chickens of Hubbard RedBro cross, as well as the quality of products obtained when using floor and cage content, in a farm. It established that when receiving a mixed feed of own production using feed raw materials grown on a farm without the use of pesticides, a statistically significant decrease in potentially dangerous substances for animal health is recorded. Compared with factory feed, it has reduced the content of pesticides by 14 times, and mercury and arsenic by 24 times, cadmium by five times, and lead by ten times. The results of the study of economic indicators of growing Hubbard RedBro cross broiler chickens, as well as the chemical composition and quality of carcasses, indicated that there was no significant difference between the floor and cell conditions of keeping. Still, the use of a diet based on eco-feeds contributed to a statistically significant decrease in the concentration of toxic metals in the muscles of the poultry of the experimental groups. As a result, it found that the use of the studied compound feed in the diets of broiler chickens increased the indicators of Biosafety and ensured the production of environmentally safe ("organic") poultry meat products.

Background. Integrating mechanical cultivation measures with herbicides adapted to the state and degree of weed infestation effectively reduces segetal vegetation. Biostimulants in turn have a positive effect on plant growth and development and increase plant resistance to the adverse effects of various stress factors. The aim of the study was to evaluate the production and economic effects of cultivation of the table potato cultivar Gawin after the use of mechanical measures, herbicides and herbicides with biostimulants. Material and methods. The field study was carried out in the years 2012–2014 at the Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe Soleks, in the town of Wojnów located in the Mazowian Voivodeship, on light soil with quality class IVb which is classified as the very good rye complex. The test plant was the medium-early table potato cultivar Gawin. The experimental variants comprised of five methods of using mechanical and chemical measures: the control variant – only mechanical weeding and four variants with the use of herbicides or the use of herbicides and biostimulants: Harrier 295 ZC (linuron + clomazone), Harrier 295 ZC (linuron + clomazone) + Kelpak SL, Sencor 70 WG (metribuzin) and Sencor 70 WG (metribuzin) + Asahi SL. The standard gross margin method was used for the economic assessment of the methods of cultivation. Results. The total tuber yield on variants with mechanical and chemical cultivation was 22.5% higher compared with the control variant, and the marketable yield was 39% higher. Despite the relatively high costs incurred to protect the potato from weeds, integrating mechanical measures, herbicides and biostimulants was cost-effective. Conclusion. The highest yields of the cultivar Gawin (total and marketable) and the best economic effect in relation to the control variant were obtained using intensive mechanical weeding as well as the herbicide Sencor 70 WG and the biostimulant Asahi SL.

The purpose of the research work is to stimulate the productivity of Ross-308 cross broiler chickens with organic acids without reducing the nutritional value of the poultry diet. Scientific and production trial was carried out in the conditions of OAO Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm in the Vitebsk Region. Broiler chickens of the Ross-308 cross were introduced into the drinking system through a veterinary drug dispenser, with water a liquid feed additive based on fulvic acid (concentration – 1 g/l AD). Researches have shown that the use of organic acids in the growing of young poultry contributed to the activation of non-specific immunity, an increase in the safety of the livestock and an increase in the meat qualities of Ross-308 cross broiler chickens. Thus, there was an increase in the average live weight gain of poultry by slaughter age in the experimental group compared with the control by 0.8%. From the experimental group of poultry 0.6% (+416 pcs.) more marketable birds were received than from poultry grown in the control poultry house. In the experimental poultry house, birds of 1st class were obtained 0.7 percentage points more than in the control poultry house. Accordingly, birds of 2ndclass were obtained in the experimental poultry house less than in the control. The receiving of grade-out birds was not noted, since according to the technological rules of the enterprise, an off-grade poultry is rejected weekly. For a total all the results achieved made it possible to get a significant increase in the gross production of poultry meat and additional profit for the enterprise.

In order to increase the meat productivity of poultry scientists around the all world are working to improve the breeding traits and technologies of housing and feeding. However, the efficiency of poultry meat production on an industrial basis depends not only on the strengthening and inheritance of breed qualities, but also on a complete and balanced feeding, including the use of new feed additives. All this generally affects the duration of rearing, the average daily and absolute live weight gains, the biological value and nutritional value of poultry meat produced in industrial conditions. The purpose of the work was to study the effect of the amino acid complex and silicon dioxide on the productivity and quality of broiler chicken meat. The paper scientifi cally substantiates and experimentally proves the effectiveness of using a rational dose of ultrafine silicon dioxide (300 mg/kg of feed) and the complex of amino acids (arginine – 7 g/kg, lysine – 6 g/kg, methionine – 2 g/kg) in the rearing of broiler chickens. Data on the positive influence of the studied factor on the consumption, digestibility and use of feed nutrients, as well as meat productivity and quality of broiler chicken meat have been obtained. The dependence of meat productivity and quality of chicken meat on physiological and biochemical parameters has been proved. Analysis of the results of the production experiment has been shown that the livability of poultry in the experimental group was higher than the control group by 1,4 %. This made it possible to reduce feed consumption to 100 g/head, and feed consumption per 1 kg of chicken growth in the experimental group by 9,2 %. Activation of metabolic processes of the body of broiler chickens of the experimental group contributed to the increase in their live weight, which increased the weight of the gutted carcass, the yield of meat by 13,8 %, and meat with off al for sale by 18,0 %. The efficiency of the complex application of amino acids and silicon dioxide in the production of poultry meat is economically justified.

The poultry industry in Russia has significant prospects for the development of domestic production of eggs and poultry meat. Insufficient attention is paid to the practical application of enzyme drugs, although numerous studies have proven the effectiveness of these substances in feeding animals and poultry. The purpose of the research was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using the multi-enzyme drug Axtra XAP 101 produced by DuPont as part of compound feed for growing broiler chickens. A scientific and economic experiment has been carried out and various doses of the multi-enzyme drug Axtra XAP 101 have been experimentally studied as part of compound feed and the optimal dose in the amount of 7–9 % of the dry matter of the compound feed has been identified. Multi-enzyme drug Axtra XAP 101 influences on indices of meat productivity of broiler chickens. It has been found that this drug increases the average daily increase in live weight of broiler chickens, reduces feed conversion and has a positive effect on the livability of livestock. The highest value for livestock livability has been observed in the 3rd experimental group, where it was 97,67 %, which was by 0,32 % higher than in the control group, by 0,5 % higher than in the 1st experimental group and by 0,57 % higher than in the 2nd experimental group. The European productivity index was the highest in the 3rd experimental group and amounted to 412 points. This indicator was higher than in other groups: higher than the control group by 20 points, the 1st experimental group – by 12 points, the 2nd experimental group – by 5 points. Thus, the effect of using enzymes in wheat and barley diets is to increase and equalize the nutritional value of different varieties and batches of grain. Changing the location and mechanism of microbial fermentation as a result of adding an enzyme also has a positive effect on the health of poultry.

The intensifi cation of modern industrial poultry farming as the most progressive and dynamically developing branch of agriculture aimed at raising productivity and increasing production volumes, inevitably leads to numerous problems related to poultry health. One of the most common ways to solve this problem is to use antibacterial drugs. The results of scientifi c and economic experiment on the use of the phytobiotic additive “Farmatan VSO (Butitan)” in feeding broiler chickens of cross Cobb-500 have been provided in the article. The inclusion in the poultry diet of the phytobiotic “Farmatan VSO (Butitan)” in the amount for compound feed Start 800 g/t, Growth and Finish – 400 g/t leads to increase in the live weight of broilers by 3,0 % compared to the control group. At the same time the average daily gain of live weight in the 4th experimental group was 73 g, which was by 2,8 % more than in the control group. The use of phytobiotic additives in the feeding of broiler chickens contributes to the highest livability of poultry (98,1 %). It has been found that the best indicators for feed expenditures have been noted in the 3rd and 4th experimental groups 1,47 and 1,48 kg, which were 3,3 and 2,6 % lower than in the control group. Thus, the authors have found that the highest live weight, average daily gain, livability and lowest expenditures of feed per unit of production diff ered in broiler chickens of 4th experimental group where in the compound feed antibiotic Flavomycin has been replaced on phytobiotic feed additive “Farmatan VSO (Butican)” in the compound feed Start 800 g/t, Growth and Finish- 400 g/t. Production testing of the use of “Farmatan VSO (Butitan)” has shown the high eff ectiveness of phytobiotics as a mean of replacing the feed antibiotic and improving the livestock indicators of broiler chickens rearing.

The article is devoted to the study of the possibility of growing broiler-chickens in an organic way to produce high-quality and safe chicken. The growing process, the dynamics of a set of live weight of organic growing chickens are compared with the traditional intensive technology. Organic foods are healthier for consumers than traditional ones. The productivity, well-being and health of farm animals depend not only on feeding, but also on the conditions of maintenance and care. The hematological research promotes the study of the influence of a certain factor on the mechanisms of regulation of metabolic homeostasis of the internal environment of the organism and the productivity of the poultry. The issues of changes in the biochemical and morphological parameters of peripheral blood over time are highlighted. Studies have not revealed  pathological abnormalities in the blood picture of chickens of different ages. Some fluctuations in blood glucose, as well as protein and hemoglobin, respectively, in most control points corresponded to age periods of growth and development, but also some influence of environmental stress factors (elevated air temperature) was noted. The dynamics of oscillations of blood cells was within the physiological norm for chickens of slowly growing breeds. Significant deviations testifying the violation of the health status of the poultry were not established. The humane component of organic chicken raising covers the economic costs associated with a longer period of keeping and organic products have added value. However, only with the creation of proper conditions for the maintenance and care of poultry to meet their natural needs, when feeding with natural, environmentally friendly feed – you can ultimately receive high-quality and safe organic products.

The article analyses the issues of balanced feeding of broiler chickens and their balanced diet. The results of studies aimed to determine the effect of mixed feeds on the productivity of Arbor Acres cross broiler chickens and the economic efficiency of poultry meat production companies are presented. It was found that broilers from the experimental group, who were fed with improved compound feed with additional sources of proteins and carbohydrates and feed additives exceeded broilers from the control group by their live weight at all ages. At the slaughter age, the average weight was more than 39.2%. The experimental group consumed 10-15% less feed whose conversion was 2.4 and 1.9 kg in favour of the group feeding with the new compound feed. The new compound feed had a positive effect on the viability of broilers: there were no deaths during the period under study. According to the control slaughter results, it was found that the pre-slaughter live weight was higher by 35% in the experimental group. The weight of edible parts increased by 6%. The improved compound feed can be used both in industrial conditions and by poultry farms.
