Muen shakai is a phenomenon of the people who are separated from their community. Modernization and industrialization have made society more individualistic and less sensitive to the surrounding environment. The traditional values that have been adopted by the community for a long time are slowly disappearing and a new structure is formed in society. With the library research, this article aims to explain the causes of muen shakai and how traditional values are slowly being eroded by the process of modernization. From the results, it is understood that one of the main factors of muen shakai is derived from changes in the family structure that is the main place where traditional values are carried from generation to generation and changes constantly along with the loss of ties in the family and the area of origin.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this art creation is to transform the values of Rumah Gadang into painting. Rumah Gadang (Big House) is a traditional house of Minangkabau ethnic in West Sumatera Province of Indonesia. Rumah Gadang is built on the pillars made from the wood. It has a high and big hollow on the ground, and its taper roof is a special characteristic that makes it different from other ethnic houses in the areas across the equator. Rumah Gadang has various types and names based on its shape and size, which depend on the community or ethnic group that builds the house. Rumah Gadang Batingkek (a big attic house) accommodates the system of Koto Piliang group, while Gajah Maharam (Incubated Elephants) is an identity of Rumah Gadang of Bodi Caniago community. Both models of the traditional houses above have been known as the identity of a Minangkabau traditional house. Methods used for this artwork are exploration, planning, and implementation of the artwork. Before practising these methods, the data has been explored through library research, empirical research, and field research. Idioms of the traditional houses expressed in the language of painting as an expression of the Painters in communicating their concern of changing the functions and values of Rumah Gadang in Minangkabau society today. By expressing through painting, it is hoped it can give awareness to the people to preserve the traditional values of Rumah Gadang, and also the continuity of appreciation to the house.Keywords: Rumah Gadang, art painting, traditional values, expression of the artABSTRAKPenelitian dalam penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai Rumah Gadang ke dalam karya seni lukis. Rumah Gadang mempunyai nama dan jenis yang beraneka ragam menurut bentuk dan ukurannya, sesuai kaum atau suku yang membuatnya. Rumah Gadang Batingkek (rumah besar bertingkat) mengakomodasi sistem kelarasan Koto piliang, yang Rumah Gadangnya beranjuang, Gajah Maharam (gajah mengeram) mengidentitaskan Rumah Gadang kelarasan Bodi Caniago. Kedua model Rumah Gadang tersebut merupakan identitas bangunan etnis Minangkabau. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan eksplorasi, perancangan, dan eksekusi dari perwujudan karya seni. Pada tahap sebelumnya, dilakukan beberapa tahapan, yaitu studi pustaka, studi empirik dan studi lapangan. Dari penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Idiom-idiom tradisi Rumah Gadang yang diungkapkan dengan bahasa seni lukis merupakan media ekspresi pencipta untuk mengomunikasikan kegelisahannya mengenai perubahan dan pengikisan nilai yang terjadi di Rumah Gadang sesuai perubahan zaman. Dengan media ungkap bahasa visual ini diharapkan dapat memberi penyadaran akan pentingnya nilai tradisi dalam konteks Rumah Gadang, serta terus diapresiasi. Cultural literacy is needed as an element of development in development administration. Values in culture, especially village communities have long been a factor forming social structures in the village and are able to play a role in maintaining the preservation of environmental ecosystems. However, cultural problems in the village have long existed before the government's cultural development policies were implemented. The purpose of this paper provides a broader space to translate village culture to the lowest level into the development process because villages in the context of modernization have a vulnerability to traditions that have been carried out for generations. The research uses library research. The results of the discussion show that communication and interaction within the family contribute to strengthening local language culture and habits that are taught from generation to next generation. Culture formed by families is able to filter out social change. In addition, the diversity of cultures in the village has become a unique opportunity for the consistency of cultural development with a tolerance base amid the swift capitalism / modernization that has a universal cultural impact. Thus, these two aspects are steps in the people center development to be considered in cultural development in the village.

Research Problem/aim: The objective of this study is to determine the perception of masculinity in rural family structure Methods: This research is a descriptive and analytical study. The universe of the research, which was conducted between the dates of 14.11.2016 - 31.05.2017, is the people of Akşehir district of Konya Province. Individuals aged 18 and over (n=500), who participated voluntarily, were included in the research, particular attention was paid to acquire the written and verbal consents of the participants prior to the application. Findings: Participants are between the ages of 18 to 65 and the median age is 27.57±10.22. Almost all of the women, at 92.9%, disagree with the "the man should decide how to use the household income" statement, while 38,7% of men support this statement, it can be seen that the provided responses change according to genders (p=.000). Both genders accept the "the man is the head of the household" statement, while 39.5% of women agree with this statement, at high rates, at 74.9%, men support this statement. While both genders think it is the man's duty to provide for the family, the support rate for this statement among male participants is significantly higher, at 71.2%, and statistical differences can be detected (p=.000). While the "male politicians are more successful" statement is accepted at higher rates, at 49.7%, among male participants, statistically, there are huge differences between genders (p=.000). Conclusions: According to the research conducted, it is seen that traditional understanding weighs heavily, and the roles attributed to men and the perception of masculinity draw more attention. The fact that the research was conducted in a rural society where traditional understanding was dominant, substantially affected the results. The perspective of rural societies needs to change. Raising and increasing awareness on topics, such as gender roles, gender perception, and human rights with the health education method will be effective in changing the perceptions of men and women about one another.

Before the arrival of Islam, Arab society was a society that was far from being orderly and according to norms. Customs, morals and life rules adopted are habits that have existed for a long time and are adopted as habits and beliefs. In a society that is oriented towards human values, Islam comes with a concept that forms the order of pre-Islamic Arab society in a relatively precise manner. Islam as a religion changes several aspects of society, one of which is in the family. One of the discussions in the family field is the remaining settlement of nusyuz in Islam where nusyuz is a disobedient attitude between husband or wife. This type of writing is a literature study, namely a study in which data collection is obtained from various scientific literacy such as books, journals, articles and others. The data of this study consisted of secondary and primary data with qualitative methods. The findings resulted that the offer of another Qur'an was first, offering advice to the wife in a ma'ruf or good way which aims to awaken the wife from her wrong actions. Second, as a psychological punishment for the wife and in her solitude for committing a crime against her punishment. Third, giving physical punishment to the wife. Abstrak Sebelum kedatangan Islam, masyarakat Arab merupakan masyarakat yang jauh dari kata teratur dan sesuai norma. Adat istiadat, akhlak serta peraturan hidup yang dianut merupakan kebiasaan yang telah ada sejak dahulu dan dianut sebagai kebiasaan dan keyakinan. Dalam suatu masyarakat yang cenderung mengabaikan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, agama Islam datang dengan konsep pembaruan yang merubah tatanan masyarakat Arab pra-Islam dalam waktu yang relatif cukup simgkat. Islam sebagai agama pembaruan merubah beberapa aspek yang ada dalam masyarakat, salah satunya ialah dalam bidang keluarga. Salah satu yang menjadi pembahasan dalam bidang keluarga ialah penyelesaian nusyuz dalam Islam dimana nusyuz merupakan sikap tidak patuh antara suami atau istri. Tulisan ini berjenis kajian library research yakni sebuah kajian yang pengambilan datanya didapat dari pelbagai literasi ilmiah seperti buku, jurnal, artikel dan lainnya. Adapun data penelitian ini terdiri atas  data sekunder dan primer dengan metode kualitatif. Temuan yang dihasilkan bahwasanya tawaran al-Qur’an lain Pertama, pemberian nasihat kepada istri dengan cara yang ma’ruf atau baik yang bertujuan untuk menyadarkan istri dari perbuatannya yang keliru. Kedua, sebagai hukuman psikologis bagi istri dan dalam kesendiriannya unutuk melakukan koreksi terhadap kekeliruannya. Ketiga, memberikan hukuman fisik kepada istri.

(Title: The Importance Of Parents In The Family As The Basis Of Establishment Of Japanese Community Characters(An Ethical Review)) Japan including developed countries in various fields, but the people still maintain tradition. This study aimed to describe parenting in families in Japan. Then the researchers interpreted the importance of parental exemplary in the formation of Japanese society. This research is a literature research on the lives of Japanese society. The method used by researchers is a description and interpretation. The result of this study is described as follows: the example of parents is imperative because parents are a figure for the children. Exemplary is applied in all aspects of live. Family education is the basis for forming individual character. Ethical values are always the basis for behaving. Parenting in the family brings logical consequences to the pattern of individual behavior to the social environment. Ethical values as a basic principle that is applied a close manner in the family environment have formed general awareness. These methods are able to shape Japanese society with a strong character.

An analysis of the relationship between changes in the value system characteristic of a rural environment and the adoption of a new religious system. This article is based upon research aimed at analysing the processes by which groups adopt religious systems which are not characteristic of their local culture. The study was carried out in a village in South Africa where Christian missionaries had been present since 1820. Three problems were investigated — have traditional values been modified; have new values appeared ; have traditional values been re-interpreted through Christianity ? The study took into account five indicators — economic values, authority, ethical norms, relationship with God and religious practice. Three age groups were studied : 15 years- 25 years ; 26 years - 49 years and 50 years and over. The evidence seems to show that the people have only loosely integrated the new Christian values ; the author also notes the presence of role conflicts as a sign of opposition between two value systems. In conclusion, it would appear that the milieu studied is in a state of transition ; Christianity has not yet changed traditional morals and the preponderant role of the family, but a more individual form of ethics and a more « moral » religion is developing.

This paper studied the form of the family grave “ie haka” in Japan. Burying cremated ashes into family grave “ie haka” is the second stage of cremation, being practiced more than 90% in Japan. Through inheriting the result of precedence researches and material research, fieldwork of author, making clear the background, the characteristics, the present status, the trend in future, etc. of the family grave “ie haka” is the purpose of this paper. Among that, especially, emphasizing the “traditional characteristic”, which has been still the debate point among the researchers when studying about family grave “ie haka”. Through it, it is possible to understand the current burial method, as well as the religious consciousness, family… of Japan. And today, in Japan, in the background, many influencing factors such as family structure, religious beliefs concerning death, the afterlife, etc. has been changing outstandingly, the current status, change… of burial culture, including the family grave system “ie haka” has been the noticeable topic. This is also a significant keyword to understand Japanese society and culture. But in fact, it almost hasn’t been studied in Vietnam. With this research, I hope to contribute to the study of such related fields of Japan, as mentioned above. And relating with Vietnam, in the context of urbanization and industrialization, many problems of burial cemeteries has occurred, and instead of it, cremation has been received gradually. Based on that, the noticeable change, such as the process of changing from handling burial bodies to cremated ashes, increasing the outside service in ancestor worship practice, etc. has been brought. Like that, through the study about the case of Japan, the similarities, experiences, and application in solving related issues in Vietnam are hoped to be clarified.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> <em>This research is to explore the relationship between the mosque and communities in Raja Ampat. Based on the research objectives mentioned, the problems raised in this research is how the community cares in protecting the environment originating from religious expression. Furthermore, this study will describe the condition of the village in running its tradition. The results showed that the villagers have made the Islamic tradition as their references and regulations in keeping the surrounding environment including the sea and the forest. The regulations enforced to community were to guide the community or residents to improve and maintain the production of the environment. Some ideas which were applied in this community were to serve as guidelines for everyone for all the time. Regulations based on the political policies also became a part of the support for this practice with the enactment of local regulations. The regulation was adopted on the basis of the practices and customs of the people that have taken place since long time ago. This research showed that Islam was used as a spirit to support the sustainability of people's habits. The power of religion became the basis in setting the needs and at the same time it could accelerate new ideas to be accepted in the community. This study was to construct the idea that there were some local conditions especially to form an understanding of society in the process of protecting the environment. Finally, this research concludes that religion becomes a rule that arises natural synergy at the needs of the community.</em><em> </em><em>In addition, this research becomes the basis for further research on religious expressions and environmental safeguards</em><em>.</em></p><p dir="RTL">الملخص :هذا البحث يبين أهمية المسجد فى المجتمع راجا أمفا (Raja Ampat) . أما مشكلات البحث فهي: كيف اهتمام الجماعة فى تنمية البيئة. فيكون هذا البحث شرحًا لنا عن تطبيق عناصر العادات فى القرية . ومن خطة الدراسة أن أهالى القرية يستخدمون النظام الديني فى تطور العالم. وهناك أيضا الجوامع الإجتماعية التى تجرى فى تصميم ووسائل الأعلام التى تحتوي الإرشادات فى الفكرة الرئيسية. التصنيف والسياسة الطابعية فى فكرة من مجموع منصوص الحكم. وهذه الأحكام من تحريف العوامل الثقافية. يثبت هذا المقال على أن دين الإسلام من القائمة الخاصة لتطوير السياق الإجتماعي. والحركات الدينية تأتى مع القادمين الجدد والفكر مرافق للحركة من إجراء تحليل البيانات على النتائج . فيمكن أن يتم النظام ليس لديها تحقيقًا فى دور خاصة ولكن يدور فى الجماعات الإسلامية العامة. وبناء هذه الحطة أن تقوم فى تدريبات وتعليمات مرحلة استخدام خاصة لتحديد العوامل فى قرية معينة. وأخيرًا، يناقش هذا البحث العلاقة بين الهِمة الدينية فى اكتشاف المنظمة الإجتماعية كما أن يمكن أن تكون أساسًا للنظر فى استقبال الدراسة الأخرى لجميع المنظمات الإسلامية بين الدين والمجتمع.</p><p><strong>A</strong><strong>bstrak: </strong><em>Artikel ini mengekplorasi hubungan antara masjid dengan masyarakat di Raja Ampat. </em><em>M</em><em>asalah penelitiannya adalah bagaimana kepedulian masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan yang bersumber dari ekspresi keberagamaan. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini akan menjelaskan kondisi kampung dalam menjalankan adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat kampung menjadikan tradisi Islam dalam menjaga lingkungan sekitar</em><em>,</em><em> termasuk laut dan hutan. Aturan-aturan yang diberlakukan masyarakat untuk memandu para penduduk dalam</em><em> memanen </em><em>produksi lingkungan. Beberapa ide yang diterapkan dijadikan sebagai pedoman bagi setiap orang sepanjang waktu. Regulasi politik juga menjadi bagian dari dukungan terhadap praktik ini dengan diberlakukannya peraturan daerah. Peraturan tersebut diadopsi dari praktik dan kebiasaan masyarakat yang sudah berlangsung sejak dulu. Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa Islam merupakan spirit untuk mendukung keberlangsungan kebiasaan masyarakat. Kekuatan agama menjadi dasar dalam mengatur keperluan dan pada saat yang sama mengakselerasi ide-ide baru yang diterima. Kajian ini mengkonstruksi bahwa ada beberapa kondisi setempat secara khusus membentuk pemahaman masyarakat dalam proses menjaga lingkungan. Family nurture is one of parents’ attempts to guide and lead their children physically and mentally from born to adulthood. The family has a significant role in preparing individuals in the early stages of development of their members. Family members are expected to have an active role in the community where they live. Values, norms, and practices embedded in primary socialization are influenced by family background involving ethnicity, religion, culture, and social strata. This causes children to acquire character values slowly and below the parents’ expectations. This study aimed at obtaining information on children character values inculcation in Bugis family nurture as it has been stated in Law number 20 Year 2003. This study indicated that there was character values inculcation to children in Bugis family nurture. One of the parents’ roles was to inculcate noble values to children from birth to adulthood. To realize this mission, it was crucial to strengthen the character values and the Bugis family nurture as well as to cooperate with the people within the community, messages in the Bugis community to children occur through the process of socialization and enculturation. Socialization through a verbal process, namely through advice, advice, advice and also actions in the form of parents giving examples of what is good and not good for children, while the enculturation process occurs through habituation by children to the values learned from parents and to their children. surrounding environment.
