Evaluation of the effectiveness of marketing management of retail structures’ innovative development is necessary to measure the effectiveness of the enterprise and to evaluate strategic ways of business development. Both of these areas determine the competitiveness of retail structures (RS). The article substantiates the approach to the effectiveness of marketing management of retail structures’ innovative development based on the compliance of development plans, organizational systems and structures with the strategic goal of innovative development, as well as the possibility of achieving the goals of innovative development strategies at various planning horizons, monitoring and adjusting adopted and/or implemented innovative development plans. Evaluation of the effectiveness of marketing management of retail structures’ innovative development is based on a comprehensive approach to the results of RS development. The paper offers an original approach to evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing management of RS innovative development, which allows you to identify the relationships between the components of the model to determine how the resources involved in marketing management processes generate an impact. The main directions of evaluating the effectiveness of marketing management of retail structures’ innovative development are determined through the effect received by the commodity circulation participants.

  Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to use marketing management tools to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and create a model of interaction of tools in the implementation of marketing strategies. Methodology / approach. The research was conducted on the base of sociological methods by means of statistical questioning of 200 respondent-entrepreneurs, owners, or runners of small business in the Western Region of Ukraine. Using the analysis of variance, the authors of the article studied variation of the results of the sociological investigation on marketing management tools, used for implementation of different strategies of business development. The factorial analysis was used to describe the factor structure of the marketing management tools. The calculations are made with application of the software Statistica 8. Results. Substantiation of the use of marketing tools to increase the competitive advantage of enterprises based on the results of the conducted sociological interviewing of 200 respondent-entrepreneurs, owners or managers of small and medium-sized businesses. Referring to the results of the factorial analysis of marketing management tools, used for implementation of different strategies of business development, the researchers specify three factors. Originality / scientific novelty. For the first time, the model of interaction of marketing management tools in the context of implementation of marketing strategies is formed, and it is investigated a structure of marketing tools at implementation of various strategies of business development to increase competitiveness of the enterprises. Practical value / implications. The main purpose of using marketing management tools is determined, which will allow enterprises to coordinate their marketing activities, optimally allocate resources at all its stages and, as a result, will directly influence the formation and increase the level of competitiveness. The research results can be applied at enterprises of the Western region of Ukraine to provide substantiation of management decisions regarding improving competitiveness on the basis of marketing management.

Marketing audit is a tool inciting the development and the evaluation of marketing efforts of an enterprise. In addition to this, marketing audit is also an effort to evaluate the potential, the resources and the goals of an enterprise against the effectiveness and efficiency of its marketing principles and strategies. In this research, the effectiveness levels of different enterprises will be investigated and measured with the help of the scoring system used in determining the effectiveness of the marketing management, the strategic orientation, the marketing management structure, the market and the marketing knowledge, the customer value creation capacity and the efficiency in implementation of marketing policies of an enterprise, using Philip Kotler's Strategic Auditing Approach. The effectiveness of marketing management will be analyzed and commented from the point of view of practicing marketing managers in the area.

Topicality. The urgency of our research is due to the fact that business security management creates a basis for innovative development of entrepreneurship. Ensuring economic security is a factor of innovative development of entrepreneurship, of advanced business management techniques using, of business efficiency increasing, and the world's production quality standards achieving. Aim and tasks. The main purpose of the research is to develop theoretical and scientific-methodological statements for improving the business security management as a part of the process of innovative development of entrepreneurship in the context of ensuring the protection of all systems of the business entity from destructive influences, both internal and external factors, threats and dangers. Research results. The idea is substantiated that business security management is designed to promote the continuity of the process of identifying critical, in terms of innovative development, assets and possible threats to these assets, as well as reducing any vulnerabilities through careful analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures to achieve an optimal level of protection of critical assets. It is established that regardless of the type of organization, in the assessment of existing threats and dangers to the innovative development of entrepreneurship should be indicated: firstly, which critical assets of the business entity need protection; secondly, what type of information and what means are needed to protect each asset; finely, how the loss, damage, or destruction of a critical asset will affect the innovative development of the business entity and its mission. The results indicate that the business security management should include: firstly, assessment of threats and dangers to innovative business development; secondly, vulnerability assessment and risk assessment, which allow decision-makers to ensure the economic security of business activities, to give priority to asset protection protocols; and finally, specific recommendations on how to block opportunities for enemy attacks and how to protect specific assets in terms of innovative development. Conclusion. The results of the study allowed us to conclude that in the context of innovative development the business security management is the key to the long-term existence of economic entities and the formation of competitive advantages of their products in the market of goods and services. Business security management helps to eliminate additional threats and dangers that may be associated with innovative business development. Thus, only effective management of business security can guarantee the protection of all the business entity systems from destructive influences, both internal and external factors, to prevent and eliminate threats, contributing to the continuity of innovative development.

Purpose. The article substantiates the strategic principles of development interaction systems in innovation processes of the region, which includes defining goals on a conceptual basis to ensure the value of interaction, clarifying the composition of subjects and objects of development regional interaction systems, implementation in certain stages. Design/methodology/approach. The goals set in the study were solved using the following general scientific methods: general scientific and special principles and techniques of scientific knowledge in the field of strategic management of innovative development of territories. Semantic analysis, comparative analysis and systematization method were used to carry out the theoretical substantiation of the system of strategic goals of regional development; the method of grouping, factor analysis, the method of structural-logical modeling is used in the development of a set of operational tasks to achieve strategic goals. An abstract-logical method was used to formulate conclusions and theoretical generalization of the results of the study. Findings. The subject of strategic management interaction in the innovation processes of the region is "innovation development", which takes into account the interests and goals of the subjects in the innovation process of the region. Strategic interaction management is carried out by defining goals on a conceptual basis to ensure the value of interaction, which involves the implementation of certain stages. Adherence to the proposed sequence of stages will ensure the required level of interaction value in regional systems for all participants in the innovation process on a strategic basis. The central apex of the "goal tree" is a strategic goal, in our context - ensuring the value of interaction in innovation processes. This strategic goal is deployed in tactical goals that capture large blocks of action to achieve a strategic goal, namely; block of rational use of innovation resources of the region, block of ensuring the usefulness of interaction, block of optimization of the cost of establishing interaction, block of increasing the productivity of innovation processes in the region, block of development of innovation infrastructure of the region. Practical implications. An obligatory stage in the formation of regional cooperation systems is the coordination and harmonization of the interests of potential participants on the basis a rational compromise to achieve the goals of regional development. The specified strategic goal is developed by the authors into tactical goals, which fix large blocks of actions to achieve the strategic goal, namely the block of rational use of innovation resources of the region, the block of ensuring the usefulness of interaction in regional interaction systems, the block of optimizing regional interaction, block of development of innovation infrastructure of the region. The need for improving regional management of the development interaction systems in innovation processes is due not only to its national importance for the development of NIS, but also the economic content - the formation of the economic base and support drivers of social and economic development of regions. It was proved that regional government institutions should fully support the development of the economy on market principles, while assuming the main responsibility for comprehensive overall regulation and strategic planning of economic development and direct support of the innovation process. Originality/value. For each of these blocks of strategic goals, the article substantiates a set of socio-economic tools for implementing tasks in regional interaction systems, which differ in the components of interaction systems, scope, nature of direction, duration, complexity of use, level of consistency, purposes of use, source of funding, direction raising funds. Summarizing the substantiation of strategic goals for interaction systems development in innovation processes of the region, it is necessary to emphasize harmonization and coordination of goals of interaction system formation with goals of innovative development of the region and individual goals for potential participants of interaction systems. After all, the development of interaction systems takes place through the maximum involvement of market stakeholders in cooperation and ensuring the value of their coordinated joint work on innovative projects and programs.

The purpose of this study is to critically analyse previous studies on management processes as antecedents of organizational performance. The study summarizes the level of understanding as regards the topic presently because of the importance of the information to the performance of organizations. The author searched Emerald, ScienceDirect.com, EBSCO and Google Scholar using a series of combinations of the following keywords: organizational management, performance management, high-performance organizations, management processes, management tools, influences of management processes, strategic management, marketing management, services marketing mix, , business organization and performance. This literature review has shown that performance is critical for the survival of the organization. It has also revealed that strategic management processes, marketing management processes and services marketing are key to organizational performance.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to reveal gaps in knowledge about energy industries, federal and provincial governments and indigenous communities’ energy management policies and practices, as well as to highlight areas requiring further research and knowledge development.Design/methodology/approachThis paper used a scoping review framework according to scoping methodological framework.FindingsThis paper suggests that researchers need to examine Indigenous communities on past leaks response records, pipelines leaks impacts in their health and environment and current risk management processes and regulations to identify weaknesses. This review paper also suggests that significant time will be required to meaningfully and honestly engage with communities to move from acceptance, through approval, to co-ownership of the project as the firm builds its legitimacy, credibility and trust with Indigenous communities.Originality/valueThe authors introduce an original approach to scoping methodological framework that directly addresses the processes of reveal gaps in knowledge and practice. It offers researchers, policy-makers, community and practitioners an alternative approach which is culturally appropriate for improving economic and environmental health outcomes of marginalised groups.

Public sector institutions are grappling to maintain knowledge management cycle which integrates knowledge into different phases as it also incorporates socialization, externalization, combination and internalization model. Whereas, knowledge management could be used as a strategic tool to advance organizational effectiveness and efficiency whilst accelerating service delivery and achieving operational goals. This article seeks to address the bottlenecks as far as knowledge management is concerned by using biographical profiles with the view of promoting the creation and management of knowledge within eThekwini Municipality. The study reflects that the biographical profiles of employees (age, education, race, job level) influences their perceptions of the current knowledge management processes and strategies and their implementation and impact on effectiveness.

According to the adopted Federal Law No. 273-FZ of December 29, 2012 (as amended on June 27, 2013) “On Education in the Russian Federation”, preschool education is the first level of the educational process. Precisely in a preschool children, for the first time, ideas about the surrounding world are formed, a system of values, as well as knowledge and skills, that can only be corrected but not radically changed. Numerous studies have shown that, thanks to investments in the early development of man, tremendous results can be obtained in the future through the formation of national human capital, which is the basis of the country’s innovative development. However, in modern theory and practice of management in the field of education, there is no universal mechanism responsible for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of management. Questions about the criteria, methods, indicators of this assessment and, as a result, the problem of improving the methodology for managing human capital have not been resolved. The article provides an analysis of the state of affairs in the management of the activities of preschool educational institutions and gives recommendations on improving innovative management activities in the field of preschool education, as well as a three-phase methodology of estimation of the effectiveness and efficiency of preschool education in the interests of Russia’s innovative development with appropriate approbation of the results.
