A global imperative that is especially relevant for Ukraine in view of the social, environmental and economic challenges of sustainable development is to ensure sustainable development. Therefore, addressing the topic of prospects for the development of infrastructure in the country's regions, given the fact that Ukraine is currently moving towards the implementation of a wide range of reforms aimed at improving the welfare of the population is a very important topic. First, because the components of the infrastructure are the main principles of quality of life, which affect the level of satisfaction of citizens. Secondly, a highly developed infrastructure complex is able to bring the country to a whole new European level of development. In terms of infrastructure development, the following priority areas are: housing and communal services, transport and communications, medicine, education, recreation system, ecology, social security, culture, as the most important systems that ensure the gradual sustainable development of each region, and the country as a whole. Despite the sufficient attention of state and regional authorities to the development of infrastructure in many regions of the country, there are still problems of existing infrastructure facilities, such as - educational, cultural, sports, medical, preschool educational institutions and schools, hospitals, etc. The degree of wear of which sometimes reaches 60%. In addition, there are problems with the provision of urban and regional transport to meet the existing needs of residents of the city and its remote areas, which provokes significant time to travel, and so on. In general, the quality of most social infrastructure facilities leaves much to be desired, which determines the high degree of relevance of the topic of this article. The article analyzes the current state of educational institutions, health care and transport infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region, identifies urgent problems. In addition, the problems of the development of transport infrastructure (insufficient number of transport units, its unsatisfactory technical condition, frequent breakdowns, high level of wear, etc.) are highlighted, which requires taking measures to increase the level of accessibility and comfort of transport in the region.

The problems related to sustainable development (SD) cover changes over time and space, as well as the interpenetrating relationships in economic, social, environmental, institutional and spatial spheres. The development, in line with the concept of sustainable development, takes place when all changes occurring in the environment are focused on improving the quality of life of the Earth’s population, following the principles of environment resources’ protection at the level allowing the development of future generations. SD concept remains one of the goals underlying developmental policies conducted at the global, EU, national and regional level. Therefore, the question arises how the developmental changes in one area manifest in others in the space of territorial units. The research was conducted for socio –economic areas, where through improvements in economic activity conditions, positive effects in areas of unemployment and poverty are expected. The analysed phenomena, described using indicators, are structured in accordance with the principle: from a problem to its solution, PSR (pressure‑state‑response). Methodology of the SD evaluation in the PSR framework is based on aggregate measures, correlation analysis, spatial statistics and macro evaluation of changes using `change matrix’. The analysis was carried out for the panel of data referring to the poviats in Poland in the period 2009–2014.

This is a paper about a song which requires rather complex semiotic operations to be Lahu. The Wedding Oath song indexes, in different contexts, a desirable modern quality in a pre-modern society, a connection between an ethnic minority group and the modern state which implies obligations toward that ethnic group, and the positive quality of cosmopolitanism as a characteristic of a modern nation state. The nature of authenticity as a feature of these indexical relationships creates the possibility that one might extend Mendoza-Denton’s (2011) concept of “semiotic hitchhiker” to incorporate a non-material feature of a discursive performance.

Problem setting. Environmental education and enlightenment in a rapidly changing world should become the goal and essence of new education, a tool to reduce tensions not only between society and the environment but also between peoples, an instrument of peace and mutual understanding. This is the sphere of international cooperation, where the unity of interests of the world community in the self-preservation of world civilization is most noticeable.Recent research and publications analysis. The objective, tasks, principles and philosophical understanding of the importance of environmental education, its essential and substantive characteristics are covered in the works of N. Anatska, G. Biliavskyi, V. Tanska, M. Drobnokhod, M. Moiseev, and others. V. Chervonetskyi, A. Bereka, A. Shumilova, A. Shevel, V. Krysachenko and M. Khylko studied ecological education as one of the directions of the formation of ecological culture. Conceptual principles of increasing the level of environmental education in protected areas are substantiated in the work of O. Mudrak. Peculiarities of activity of regional public eco-organizations in the realization of informal ecological education of youth were studied by O. Dukh, O. Halahan and I. Mykhaliuk.Highlighting previously unsettled parts of the general problem. The choice of our study is due to the contradiction in the need of modern society to take practical action to improve the quality of the environment, the development of an ecologically literate population capable of an ecologically centric approach in relation to nature, and the lack of a systematic approach to this process. A comprehensive approach to the organization of training of all subjects of environmental education will ensure that the population receives the greatest amount of necessary environmental knowledge and skills, regardless of age and professional differences.Paper main body. There has been carried out the analysis of the essence of such concepts as “environmental education” and “environmental enlightenment”. The principles, goals, objectives and structure of environmental education are substantiated. The necessity for systematic organization of continuous environmental education and enlightenment for sustainable development is proved. The role of environmental education and environmental enlightenment in the system of public administration is determined. Elements of the system of environmental education are given, which also include environmental enlightenment and self-education.Conclusions of the research and prospects for further studies. The domestic system of environmental education is fragmentary, unsystematized, does not have proper management of educational processes that would meet modern challenges. Traditional educational paradigms require a significant revision and introduction of innovative and most effective methods, techniques, forms, technologies for the formation of environmental education and improving the environmental culture of the population.Non-formal environmental education and enlightenment should become one of the priorities and strategic directions of the state environmental policy at both the national and regional levels, and receive appropriate financial support. The urgency of the topic does not cover all aspects of the problem of the continuous environmental education and enlightenment, as they require further development of cooperation between public authorities and local governments with numerous educational and public organizations that can provide environmental education services to the population.

An attempt is made to identify aspects of the relationship between nature, society and culture in order to understand the principles on which it is possible to build sustainable development in the modern world on the basis of environmental conservation. It is suggested to consider this problem within the framework of studying the laws of nature, the interdependence of nature and culture, in particular its scientific component. The historical influence of cultural factors and world understanding of philosophical schools on the nature of practical development is traced. The primary role in solving the global environmental problem is assigned to education, as well as the direction of spiritual culture to respect the rights of future generations and respect for other national traditions.

The concept of forming the foundations of professionalism is given. Funds for professional development, as well as the formation of readiness of students-future economists for analytical activities and a number of approaches are listed and allocated. The profession of economist is in demand in almost all enterprises, but employers do not choose yesterday's graduates, but specialists with experience. Given the concept, to achieve professionalism, it will not be enough just to get the appropriate education at a University, pass an internship and have certain properties that determine the quality of a specialist in the economic field. Training and economic education of students should be carried out continuously, comprehensively, systematically, purposefully and should cover all stages: from pre-school to higher professional education.
