Early childhood cognitive development is formed faster in the first four years of life. YouTube as a video-based application media is used as a means to optimize children’s cognitive development by some parents. The objective of this study was to determine the role of YouTube media in optimizing cognitive development in early childhood. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and observations to parents of YouTube media users as a means of optimizing a more optimal development in aspects of imagination, language, curiosity, and concentration. Thus it can be concluded that YouTube media can be used as a means to optimize cognitive development in early childhood.

Early  childhood cognitive formation is formed more quickly in the first four years of life in the golden age. The phenomenon of android-based application media in the digital age has been widely used as a means to optimize children’s cognitive development by some parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of android based application media in improving cognitive development in children. The method used in observasion is qualitative. As for the data collection techniques in the study are interview and observasions to five parens of android-based application usersas a means of stimulation to optimize children’s development in lampung. The result of the study illustrate that there is an increase in cognitive development in children. This it can be concluded that the android-based application media in the form of educational games and youtube kids can be used as a means to optimize cognitive development in early childhood.

This research is motivated by the still large number of agencies that do not provide early childhood services in a holistic integrative. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects were managers, tutors, learners, parents, partners and community leaders. The results of the study illustrate that: First, an overview of the implementation of integrative holistic early childhood program in early childhood education Pos Cempaka done through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Second, ECD Post Cempaka in providing integrative holistic ministry has a network of partnerships with various parties; it aims to meet the basic need of early childhood. Third, an increase in aspects of child development, this research is more focused on aspects of cognitive development because it is easier to measure the level of success it is influenced by the participation of the various parties were entwined in the partnership. Fourth, the implementation of the program .Each course there supporting factors and obstacles, as well as that occurs in early childhood Cempaka Pos. To know this researcher using SWOT analysis, strengths and opportunities that owned the Post ECD Cempaka be a supporting factor for the sustainability of the program, whileweaknesses and threats are factors that will be a matter of evaluation for managers to determine the best move for the advancement of Post ECD Cempaka.Keywords: Integrative Holistic ECD, Partnership, Aspects of Cognitive Development

Cognitive development is an important aspect. One of them is the ability to think symbolically. To improve the ability of symbolic thinking of early childhood certainly cannot be separated from the role of educators. Indicators of cognitive development that must be achieved by children aged 4-5 years are: numbers 1-10, recognizing the concept of numbers, recognizing the symbol of numbers, and recognizing the symbol of letters. For this reason, it is appropriate for educators to work hard to improve the ability to think symbolically in early childhood by providing stimulation through appropriate learning media like children, one of which is the media learning of dimples. This research was conducted with a class action research method. From the two cycles that have been done show the results that there is an increase in the ability of symbolic thinking in early childhood group A using the media learning dimples.Perkembangan kognitif merupakan aspek yang tidak kalah penting. Salah satunya  adalah kemampuan berpikir simbolik. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia dini tentu tak lepas dari peranan pendidik. Indikator perkembangan kognitif yang harus dicapai anak usi 4-5 tahun adalah: membilang  benda 1-10, mengenal konsep bilangan, mengenal lambang bilangan, dan mengenal lambang huruf. Untuk itu sudah selayaknya pendidik berusaha dengan keras untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia dini dengan cara memberikan stimulasi melalui media pembelajaran yang tepat bagai anak, salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran lesung angka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode peneletian tindakan kelas. Dari dua siklus  yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemmapuan berpikir simbolik pada anak usia dini kelompok A dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran lesung angka.

This research is a qualitative research that is field research, researchers describe the findings sourced from the field. The research data were obtained from interviews with respondents, consisting of parents and community leaders as well as observations of children in Kajen Village Rt 04 / Rw 02. Data collection techniques used were through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technical analysis of data includes data reduction, data presentation and verification.From the results of this study indicate that the role of parents in Rt 04 / Rw 02 Kajen Margoyoso Village Pati Regency related in Improving Early Childhood Speaking Behavior is mostly good, smooth and develops according to the development of his age. It's just that they as parents need to know and be aware that, educating children must be with patience and perseverance. Parents can teach polite speaking behavior by familiarizing children with things that are praiseworthy from an early age. Because children are a reflection of the actions of their parents. So that the hope of parents later children can behave and talk politely with everyone.

The influence of multimedia usage on PG-PAUD student concept understanding in cognitive development and creativity course of early childhood has been done on PG-PAUD Student semester three in Palembang Sriwijaya University. The type of research used is experiment with One Shoot Case Study descriptions, with sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The sample in the pre-experiment class is 27 and the post-test class is 28. The data collection technique is written essay, interview and documentation. Result of data analysis obtained is 80,71, while result of hypothesis test based on t-test obtained t_hitung> t_table or got t_count = 6,76> t_table = 4,83, hence Ho refused and Ha accepted, thus there influence multimedia usage to understanding the concept of PG-Paud students in courses of cognitive development and creativity of early childhood. With assessment indicators Redefining a concept, Classifying objects according to certain traits according to their concepts, Providing examples of concepts, Using, utilizing and selecting specific procedures. So the use of multimedia to understanding the concept of the students is very influential to improve understanding of the concept.

This article examines the importance of the role of both parents in realizing a superior generation (Dzurriyah Thayyibah) in the Covid-19 pandemic era based on ‘Mabadi’ Khaira Ummah’. This article is the result of research based on reality of people’s lives that are forced to change according to the situation in the midst of a pandemic that is still sweeping the world or what is noe known as the new normal. This situation has had a tremendous impact on parents and especially on the younger generation who are still at the early childhood education level. This study aims to determine the role of parental relations in shaping the character of their children with a literature study and phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that parent who are disciplined by implementing the attitudes of Mabadi’ Khaira Ummah, will make the children they take care of to become tought, competitive, benefit others and have noble morals

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the role of early childhood education to the function of socialization in the family. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects used in this study were 5 parents. Data collection techniques using interview and observation techniques. The data is analyzed using the stages of data reduction, presenting data, and concluding the data. The results of this study show that the role of early childhood education to the function of socialization is very important because of the function of socialization in the family so that parents can know the function of religion, the function of love, socio-cultural functions, reproductive functions, economic functions, educational functions and environmental functions. ABSTRAKPendidikan yang utama dan pertama didapat anak dari orang tua. Orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam hal ini sebab orang tua adalah teladan pertama yang dikenal oleh anak. Peran orangtua yang demokratis menerapkan orang tua yang menjadikan anak-anak menjadi orang yang mau menerima kritik dan menghargai orang lain, memiliki kepercayaan diri yang tinggi dan mampu bertanggung jawab atas kehidupan sosial mereka. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pola asuh orang tua dalam pengembangan diri dan karakter anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang  tua dalam penggembangan potensi dan karakter anak usia dini dengan pola asuh demokratis. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan metode yang diterapkan orang tua  dalam penggembangan potensi diri dan karakter anak antara lain: a) memberikan pujian dan penghargaan kepada anak, b) menyediakan waktu bermain bersama anak, c) memberikan kasih sayang dan perhatian, d) memberikan keteladanan yang baik.Kata kunci: Pola Asuh, Potensi Diri, Karakter ABSTRACTFirst and foremost education is obtained by children from parents. Parents have an important role in this case because parents are the first examples known by children. The role of democratic parents applies parents who make their children willing to accept criticism and respect others, have high self-confidence and are able to take responsibility for their social lives. The problem raised in this study is how parenting parents in self-development and character of early childhood. This study aims to determine the role of parents in developing the potential and character of early childhood with democratic parenting. This research was analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the methods applied by parents in developing children's potential and character include: a) giving praise and appreciation to children, b) providing time to play with children, c) giving love and attention, d) giving good role models.Keywords : Parenting, Self Potential, Character

This study aims to determine the role of parents in forming a Home Learning Environment (HLE) for early childhood in Trucuk, Klaten. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and was carried out by purposive sampling. The research subjects were 5 parents who have children aged 3-4 years. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research that has been done, the role of parents in shaping HLE is seen when parents introduce new learning materials into the home through activities (playing, chatting and reading), preparing HLE according to children's needs and interests, offering various learning opportunities and providing learning experiences that are fun. With the role of parents in shaping HLE, it can be an early intervention program and direct children's activities to be more useful in reaching the next stage of development.

Early childhood education is directed to facilitate the child's healthy growth and optimal development in accordance with the values, norms, and expectations of the community. The aim is to form quality children, ie children who grow and develop according to their level of development. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative approach that is describing the data obtained from the field and explain it in words. This study aims to determine the role of Dewantara Kindergarten in improving the quality of early childhood education in Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor District. Based on the data that has been collected can be seen from several factors, namely, norms, concepts, and individual behavior that has been used to see how the role performed by Dewantara Kindergarten. all factors went well, So with the role of kindergarten Dewantara, Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor District, it can improve the quality of early childhood education.
