Pulmonary tuberculosis is a disease that is of concern to the world, especially Indonesia which is in the third-highest rank after India and China. Some studies have reported that patients living with tuberculosis and who are undergoing anti-tuberculosis drug therapy have a significant impact on their quality of life. TB patients who are undergoing treatment, both obedient and non-compliant can experience a decrease in various physical, social, psychological, and environmental functions which will have an impact on decreasing quality of life. However, since 2019, there has been a Covid-19 pandemic which is highly contagious and can cause severe illness, causing people to be afraid to come to health facilities. Because people are afraid to come to health facilities, it is feared that there will be an explosion of TB disease because of the risk of dropping out of drugs which causes an increase in the death rate due to TB. In addition, without treatment for TB patients, it can cause the spread of TB disease to become more widespread. So if a TB patient suffers from Covid-19, it can make his illness worse. During the COVID-19 pandemic, WHO estimates that there will be a 25% reduction in TB case detection.

With the growing environmental awareness, there is a rising demand for green decorative materials in furniture and indoor design. However, the existing studies lack the overall evaluation of environmental functions for green decorative materials in indoor design. To make up for the gap, this paper evaluates the environmental function and explores the preparation method of green decorative materials in indoor design. Firstly, the types and purchase principles of green decorative materials were expounded, and the preparation flow of wood product coating was given for green decorative materials in indoor design. Then, an evaluation model was established for the environmental functions of green decorative materials, the stochastic dominance matrix was constructed for the indices, and the order value of each index was computed. Finally, fuzzy Dempster–Shafer (D-S) evidence theory was adopted to develop a prediction algorithm for the environmental function of indoor decorations, and thus realize the evaluation of the greenness of decorative materials in indoor design. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm, and the good performance of the prepared super-hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings.

Cultivation in coastal area usually did for business activity purpose against the villagers without giving concern for the nature & ecosystem impact. Coastal area have high level of potential conflict either marine aspect nor land authorization. Misuse & violation against coastal area indicate by construction frequently founded along shoreline. Restricted ban against shoreline is a prohibition that require villagers to not build a construction long 100 meters from shoreline. The law against shoreline intend to protect the villagers from tsunami and environmental damage thru human behavior. South Lampung District have high potential level of tsunami by reason the location is close to Krakatau Mountain. In advance of Tsunami 2018 which rushed Banten & South Lampung District throw a big disadvantage and had public nor government attention. In fact, there are a lot of construction who violate shoreline regulation. This research using empiric method which elaborate with direct observation. Faced by the low government supervision reveal the low level of villagers legal awareness about obligations and social function of the land as well as urgency of the preservation of environmental functions on the coast.

Abstract The judiciary body is at the forefront of enforcing Indonesian environmental law through judges' decisions that prioritize the preservation of environmental functions. Judges who have competence in the field of environmental law are expected to be able to make decisions in favor of environmental justice. However, the reality is that there are still many judges' decisions on environmental cases that are not in favor of justice and the interests of the preservation of environmental functions. The existence of Supreme Court Decree Number 134 / KMA / SK / IX / 2011 concerning Certification of Environmental Judges is also considered not optimal in increasing the competence of judges regarding  environmental cases decision. This study is to identify, analyze, and explain the implications of environmental judge certification for the effectiveness of Indonesian environmental law enforcement. The type of research used is juridical normative or doctrinal, using secondary data sources which include primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. This research concludes that environmental judge certification is literally becoming an important and strategic aspect in the effort to bring the effectiveness of environmental law enforcement in Indonesia into reality. Up to now, the regulation of environmental judge certification has not been fully optimally implemented. This research considers that it is important to carry out legal reconstruction, in order to obtain an ideal concept related to environmental judge certification in an effort to have a solid and effective Indonesian environmental law enforcement. Keywords: judge certification, environment, law enforcement.

With the rising demand for energy, the forest-based circular bioeconomy is gaining recognition as a strategy for sustainable production and consumption of forest resources. However, the forest-based bioeconomy remains underexplored from the perspective of deadwood conservation in public forests. While conducting a literature review and examining the case of Kenya, this study fills a gap in the literature to provide policy suggestions for sustainable forest resource utilization. The results from global literature indicate that deadwood performs essential social, economic, and environmental functions in the circular bioeconomy and sustainable development. Similarly, in Kenya, deadwood resources provide many socially beneficial bioproducts and services. However, the absence of scientific research and detailed guidelines for deadwood conservation may lead to the distortion of the ecological balance in public forests because of the legally sanctioned removal of deadwood, particularly firewood. Moreover, if the status quo remains, with approximately 70% of the growing population consuming deadwood for domestic use and the demand increasing, as shown by the current wood deficit in the country, there will be a major dilemma concerning whether to conserve deadwood for biodiversity or energy. Therefore, averting crisis and providing maximum deadwood value to society requires guidelines and comprehensive research in addition to a cultural and behavioral shift in energy consumption in a manner that embraces the forest-based circular bioeconomy of deadwood.

The method of determining the market price of ecological functions of urban landings is discussed. The methodology provides for the use of expert assessments based on the methods of similarity (analogy) and comparative analysis. The possibility of determining the price of ecological functions that have dimension (named) is revealed. As an example, the calculation of the market value of sanitary and hygienic environmental functions, namely, dust protection, gas protection and CO2 absorption (RUB/year), is shown. The results of the calculations are compiled in the form of a table - reference of the market value of environmental functions. The price of each individual tree (shrub), taking into account the size and sanitary condition, is adjusted and entered in the GIS attribute table. Further, as the source data is refined, the entire calculation chain is automatically updated.

Background: The fast-growing trend of urbanizations and the dwellers' stressful lifestyle in megacities has led to several drawbacks from the mental health perspective. Provided that there is a significant association between the green environment and mental health, we investigated different functions of a green roof from two perspectives of well-being and environment. Methods: After investigating on different functions of the green roof and classifying them into two sections, a self questionnaire survey was conducted in May 2020 on 100 citizens of the Seoul metropolitan area after, South Korea visiting the green roof. They were asked to clarify their perception of the different functions of green roof gardens. The statistical analysis was performed to show the differences in perception and how each variable can contribute to such differences. Results: The results illustrated a high satisfaction rate among the visitors of green roofs. The perception of the well-being functions was higher than those of environmental functions. However, age group can alter the perception significantly, as the senior citizens significantly perceived the well-being functions. In contrast, the awareness of the environmental functions was higher among the younger participants. Conclusion: Providing practical information about the ideal functions of green roofs, this study offered helpful insight for the planners who focus on society’s general health and work in two different sections: developing the city landscape and mental health improvement.

The fragmentation process that has altered natural environments has been widely discussed, as it causes changes in communities and compromises different environmental functions. In this sense, this study was based on the evaluation of fragmentation on araneofauna of semideciduous seasonal forest fragments, phytophysiognomy belonging to the Atlantic Forest. The study was conducted in three fragments in the municipality of Inconfidentes, southern Minas Gerais, from April 2014 to March 2015. The results showed that there is a similarity in the composition of spider species among the sampled fragments and that the size of the fragment is positively correlated with species richness. Our data show that smaller fragments must be preserved and that agricultural areas maintain the integrity of adjacent forest areas to benefit from the predation dynamics that spiders exert on pests that affect plantations.
