AbstractNonsurgical facelifts are a term for a heterogeneous group of procedures used by physicians to improve facial rejuvenation without the use of operative techniques. Patients demand these services due to the reduced recovery time and generally lower risk. However, nonsurgical techniques, to be effective, must induce conformational change in the cells and tissues of the face. Therefore, these techniques are significant procedures that have associated risks. Understanding the tissue modifications and mechanisms of action of these techniques is vital to their safe and effective use. The purpose of this article is to provide a background of tissue modification in nonsurgical facelift options.

AbstractRuling out cases with strong jawlines, well-developed mid-cheek regions, and good fat presence, if done artistically, fat augmentation strongly assists midface definition and can replenish hollowed regions of the face. This is particularly true for candidates with low bodyfat or smaller skull structures. Hence, fat grafting is a strong adjunct to conventional excisional techniques in facial rejuvenation surgery, regardless of experience, technique, or geographical embedding. While CORE facelift techniques remain the golden standard that define the top level of facelift surgery, fat augmentation has its unique place along the full stretch of an individual surgeon's learning scope, as it will potentially improve results regardless of where one stands.

Reliability methods have being adopted by oil and gas operators for integrity management decisions. These methods explicitly account for all relevant uncertainties and are designed to provide consistent safety. Consequently, a risk or reliability based approach is a very appropriate basis for decision making in the face of uncertainties. However, as in the effective use of any powerful methodology the sensitivities of the method to assumptions and limitations of applicability need to be well understood. This paper presents how improvements were made to reliability based integrity program by understanding its limitations and sensitivities. First the inputs that have the highest impact on the results were identified. These inputs are the most appropriate areas for improvement and data gathering. It is also very important to understand how the results are to be used and for what purpose. The results of this particular inline inspection based reliability assessment are used to make better excavation and repair decisions. A defect-based and joint-based decision making process is essential for determining with sufficient confidence if each defect and joint is in a safe condition. Consequently, the improvements are focused on discriminating between the myriad of defects found during an inline inspection run. Distinct field characteristics of corrosion growth are also taken into account in these improvements. The paper presents the implementation of effective area methods for future integrity probabilistic evaluations. It also describes the benefit of applying defect-specific growth rates. Finally, case studies are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the changes.

Flipped classroom is an educational technique in which content is delivered online for students to study at their own pace in preparation for in-class learning. Benefits include increased flexibility, enhanced student engagement and satisfaction, and more effective use of time spent during face-to-face teaching. However, the development and implementation of flipped classroom teaching are also associated with challenges, including time required to develop learning materials and getting students to engage with the preparatory work. This teaching tip describes a structured approach to designing and implementing the flipped classroom approach for clinical skills to allow a greater focus on practicing the hands-on skills and the provision of feedback during the laboratory session. First, the rationale for flipping the classroom and the expected benefits should be considered. On a practical level, decisions need to be made about what to include in the flipped component, how it will complement the face-to-face class, and how the resources will be created. In the design phase, adopting a structured template and aligning with established pedagogical principles is helpful. A well-designed flipped classroom motivates learners by including different elements such as quality educational media (e.g., videos), the opportunity to self-assess, and well-defined connections to relevant knowledge and skills. Student engagement with the flipped material can be promoted through different strategies such as clear communication to manage student expectations and adapting the delivery of the face-to-face component. Finally, gathering feedback and evaluating the initiative are important to inform future improvements.

Among the procedures for facial rejuvenation, thread lift are currently widespread among professionals and highly sought after by patients. This demand can be justified because they are procedures, without incisions, shorter inactivy time, low operating time, and for the risk of postoperative complications when compared to rhytidoplasty. These are procedures capable of promoting collagen stimulation, elevating ptosis tissues, and adding volume to the application areas contributing to the restructuring of the face. Thread lift have evolved considerably over the years and can be now meet on absorbable devices based on polydioxanone and polylactic acid. In this article is proposed the use of Fiobloc® thread lift for the purpose of assessing their affectiveness in the replacement of ptosis tissues.

Abstract Background Dialysis recovery time (DRT) surveys capture the perceived time after HD to return to performing regular activities. Prior studies suggest the majority of HD patients report a DRT > 2 h. However, the profiles of and modifiable dialysis practices associated with changes in DRT relative to the start of dialysis are unknown. We hypothesized hemodialysis (HD) dose and rates of intradialytic hypotension (IDH) would associate with changes in DRT in the first years after initiating dialysis. Methods We analyzed data from adult HD patients who responded to a DRT survey ≤180 days from first date of dialysis (FDD) during 2014 to 2017. DRT survey was administered with annual KDQOL survey. DRT survey asks: “How long does it take you to be able to return to your normal activities after your dialysis treatment?” Answers are: < 0.5, 0.5-to-1, 1-to-2, 2-to-4, or > 4 h. An adjusted logistic regression model computed odds ratio for a change to a longer DRT (increase above DRT > 2 h) in reference to a change to a shorter DRT (decrease below DRT < 2 h, or from DRT > 4 h). Changes in DRT were calculated from incident (≤180 days FDD) to first prevalent (> 365-to- ≤ 545 days FDD) and second prevalent (> 730-to- ≤ 910 days FDD) years. Results Among 98,616 incident HD patients (age 62.6 ± 14.4 years, 57.8% male) who responded to DRT survey, a higher spKt/V in the incident period was associated with 13.5% (OR = 0.865; 95%CI 0.801-to-0.935) lower risk of a change to a longer DRT in the first-prevalent year. A higher number of HD treatments with IDH episodes per month in the incident period was associated with a 0.8% (OR = 1.008; 95%CI 1.001-to-1.015) and 1.6% (OR = 1.016; 95%CI 1.006-to-1.027) higher probability of a change to a longer DRT in the first- and second-prevalent years, respectively. Consistently, an increased in incidence of IDH episodes/months was associated to a change to a longer DRT over time. Conclusions Incident patients who had higher spKt/V and less sessions with IDH episodes had a lower likelihood of changing to a longer DRT in first year of HD. Dose optimization strategies with cardiac stability in fluid removal should be tested.

AbstractFor optimal results, facial rejuvenation procedures should address both the tissue laxity and volume deflation associated with facial aging. The lift-and-fill face lift, in which fat grafting provides volumetric rejuvenation to the face while surgical lift effectively repositions and removes ptotic and redundant tissue, has revolutionized the plastic surgeon's approach to the aged face. An understanding of the intricate anatomy of distinct facial fat compartments and a systematic method to assess areas of fat atrophy and volume depletion are keys to provide patients with a natural and youthful result. Fat grafting may be used to improve contour in any area treatable by nonautologous injectable fillers, including the temples, forehead, upper and lower orbit, cheeks, perioral region, nasolabial fold, jawline, and chin—with the benefit of a more natural contour and integration with native tissue.

ABSTRACTthe purpose of this classification of facial aging is to have a simple clinical method to determine the severity of the aging process in the face. this allows a quick estimate as to the types of procedures that the patient would need to have the best results. procedures that are presently used for facial rejuvenation include laser, chemical peels, suture lifts, fillers, modified facelift and full facelift. the physician is already using his best judgment to determine which procedure would be best for any particular patient. this classification may help to refine these decisions.

Abstract Background: Lenalidomide (LEN) is effective in MDS patients (pts) with or without deletion (del) 5q cytogenetic abnormalities. Common toxicities include neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. Both occurrence of cytopenias and response to LEN is more common in pts with the del 5q abnormality. This study analyzes whether development of treatment-related cytopenias is associated with response to LEN in lower-risk MDS pts. Methods: Transfusion-dependent, low/int-1-risk MDS pts were enrolled in the MDS-003 (del 5q pts) and MDS-002 (non-del 5q pts) studies. Pts were treated with 10 mg LEN (daily or 21/28 days). Baseline thrombocytopenia was defined as a platelet (plt) count <150,000/mm3; neutropenia as an absolute neutrophil count (ANC) <2000/mm3 (grade 1–4 using the CTC v2.0). Cytopenias were assessed within the first 8 weeks of LEN therapy, and given functional definitions based on frequency tables. Response was assessed using International Working Group criteria. Results: Of 147 evaluable pts in MDS-003, 59 (40%) had thrombocytopenia, 59 (40%) neutropenia, and 84 (57%) neutropenia and/or thrombocytopenia according to baseline labs. Of 210 evaluable pts in MDS-002, 69 (33%) had thrombocytopenia and 81 (39%) neutropenia at baseline. For both studies, median age was 71 and 72 years and MDS duration was 2.5 and 2.2 years, respectively. RBC transfusion independence (TI) was achieved by 99 pts (67%) in MDS-003 (List et al. NEJM 2006) and 56 pts (26%) in MDS-002. For pts with del 5q, development of thrombocytopenia correlated with TI, regardless of baseline plt count (p=0.005). Comparing pts who had a ≥50% drop vs those who did not, TI was achieved in 76% vs 47% of pts without baseline thrombocytopenia and in 67% vs 38% of pts with thrombocytopenia, respectively. Similar results held for pts without baseline neutropenia: 82% whose ANC fell ≥75% achieved TI, compared to 56% whose ANC fell <75% (p=0.018). In pts with baseline neutropenia, ANC drop did not correlate with TI (p=0.75). In pts with any baseline cytopenia, those whose ANCs fell by ≥75% and/or plt by ≥50% were more likely to achieve TI than those whose counts did not drop substantially, controlling for baseline cytopenias (71% vs. 60%, p=0.024). In multivariate analyses, both a treatment-related ANC drop ≥75% (odds ratio [OR]=2.68, p=0.04) and a plt drop ≥50% (OR=2.79, p=0.05) remained associated with TI in MDS-003. Neither was associated with duration of TI response, though there was a trend with drop in ANC (hazard ratio=2.04, p=0.06). In contrast, for pts without del 5q (MDS-002), no correlation exists between TI and drop in plt count (p=0.36 for patients without and p=0.16 for those with baseline thrombocytopenia), drop in ANC (p=0.43 for those without and p=0.44 for those with baseline neutropenia), or development of either cytopenia. No correlation with TI could be established in MDS-002 for drops of 25%, 50%, or 75% within 4, 8, or 16 weeks of therapy, in both univariate and multivariate analyses. Conclusions: In MDS pts with del 5q, treatment-related thrombocytopenia, and neutropenia in those with normal baseline ANCs, correlate with response to LEN, supporting the link between suppression of the del 5q clone and erythroid response. This correlation was not observed in non-del 5q MDS pts, indicating alternate mechanisms of action of LEN.

Gojek as pioneers face challenges in maintaining quality service and win the competition. The marketing strategy is one way to determine the competitiveness of each force. Effective Use of SWOT can play an important role in determining the marketing strategy, in order to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by enterprise IT in maintaining the viability and continuity of the company. Issues to be resolved in this research is How to determine the internal and external factors which will affect the company's strategy and determine appropriate marketing strategy planning for Gojek. The research was conducted using the method of analysis of IFAs to analyze the internal factors, the analysis of EFAS to external factors, then, input into the model kuantittif ie SWOT matrix. Results of the analysis showed that, based on internal strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and external threats, four sets of strategic alternatives that may be taken by the manager of the company in the face of increasingly competitive. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited. The keyword list provides the opportunity to add keywords, used by the indexing and abstracting services, in addition to those already present in the title. Judicious use of keywords may increase the ease with which interested parties can locate our article

Nowadays, rice is the staple food grain of billions of people worldwide. The scientific name of rice is Oryza sativa L. There are four types of rice found in all over the world. Heavy metals, such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, iron, etc. are also found in rice, which causes harmful effects in the human body. Recently, rice has also been identified as a major exposure route. Rice is the most important grain concerning human nutrition and calorie intake, providing more than one-fifth calories consumed worldwide by humans. Acute toxic effects of rice are lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, possibly stroke, obesity, etc. and the side effects of rice are swelling around the drip site, hearing changes, liver changes, sore mouth, diarrhea, flushing of the face, changes in blood pressure, etc.
