Abstract Determining wire and wire bundle amperage capacity (i.e., “ampacity”) currently relies on the use of standards to derate wire ampacity when in a bundle configuration. The feasibility of developing physics-based and regression thermal models of single wires and wire bundles to determine ampacity using a customized test apparatus was investigated during a pathfinder study. A test facility was developed and various wire and wire bundle articles were tested under a variety of temperature and pressure conditions using an efficient test matrix formulated using Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques. Physics-based models were developed and correlated to the test results. Regression models were formulated and compared to test results and standards.

This article is to examine the effect of the BI Rate, Inflation and Exchange Rates on the stock price indexes of the financial sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period November 2015 to October 2019. Data analysis techniques used in this study are regression models with quantitative methods. Test results prove that the negative BI Rate for IHSK and H1 is accepted. Negative inflation in FSPI and H2 is accepted. Positive exchange rates on the IHSK and H3 are accepted. The BI Rate, Inflation, and Exchange Rates received simultaneously against IHSK and H4 are accepted. The magnitude of the effect on R squared was 54.6%, while the remaining 45.4% was accepted by other variables not approved in this study. The purpose of this research are : 1) knowing the process of developing interactive with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media, 2) knowing the effectiveness of interactive learning with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media, 3). knowing the ability of students' mathematical understanding after using the Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media. The type of research is Research and Development (R & D) with One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The research was conducted at Mardi Waluya 2 Sukabumi Junior High School in the 2018/2019 semester event. The writer take the population of this study is on VII class. The sample used simple random sampling and for the instruments used were validation questionnaires media and tests. Data analysis techniques are using the Likert scale for validation questionnaires media, using the T test to determine effectiveness, and N-Gain to determine the increase in students' mathematical understanding skills. Interactive learning media are valued by media experts and material experts, with the results obtained that are valid so that they can be used in learning. The results of the effectiveness test are Thit (8.78)> T table (1,699) with a significant level used which is 5%. With high criteria of N-Gain test results are 75.61. Based on the results of these studies, interactive learning with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media can be effective in learning and can improve students' of mathematical understanding skills.

Rocketdyne is under contract to the Department of Energy for the development of heat exchanger technology that will allow coal to be burned for power generation and cogeneration applications. This effort involves both atmospheric fluidized bed and pulverized coal combustion systems. In addition, the heat exchanger designs cover both metallic and ceramic materials for high-temperature operations. This paper reports on the laboratory and small AFB test results completed to date. It also covers the design and installation of a 6×6 ft atmospheric fluidized bed test facility being used to correlate and expand the knowledge gained from the initial tests. The paper concludes by showing the direction this technology is taking and outlining the steps to follow in subsequent programs.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate outdoor PM2.5 infiltration into multifamily homes according to the building characteristics using regression models. Field test results from 23 multifamily homes were analyzed to investigate the infiltration factor and building characteristics including floor area, volume, outer surface area, building age, and airtightness. Correlation and regression analysis were then conducted to identify the building factor that is most strongly associated with the infiltration of outdoor PM2.5. The field tests revealed that the average PM2.5 infiltration factor was 0.71 (±0.19). The correlation analysis of the building characteristics and PM2.5 infiltration factor revealed that building airtightness metrics (ACH50, ELA/FA, and NL) had a statistically significant (p < 0.05) positive correlation (r = 0.70, 0.69, and 0.68, respectively) with the infiltration factor. Following the correlation analysis, a regression model for predicting PM2.5 infiltration based on the ACH50 airtightness index was proposed. The study confirmed that the outdoor-origin PM2.5 concentration in highly leaky units could be up to 1.59 times higher than that in airtight units.

A laboratory scale test facility has been developed to investigate deposition in steam turbines under conditions that are representative of those in steam power generation cycles. The facility is an advanced two-reactor vessel test arrangement, which is a more flexible and more accurately controllable refinement to the single reactor vessel test arrangement described previously in ASME Paper No. GT2014-25517 [1]. The commissioning of the new test facility is described in this paper, together with the results from a series of tests over a range of steam conditions, which show the effect of steam conditions (particularly steam pressure) on the amount and type of deposits obtained. Comparisons are made between the test results and feedback/experience of copper fouling in real machines.

An extended test of a 60-cm-bore Nb3Sn coil (TMC-I), constructed as a development of superconducting toroidal coil in tokamak machine, has been carried out in the cluster test facility. A 192-cm-length (one turn) normal zone, nucleated by a heat-input in the innermost turn, is recovered to superconducting state at 6 kA and 10 T. For the manual dump with a decay time constant of 6.6 sec (B = 1.0 T/sec), no damage is found on the TMC-I. In addition, a out-of-plane force mode operation, using one of the cluster test coils, is done with no trouble. With these good results, the first stage in TMC-I test was completed. And as the next stage, up-grading the cluster test facility for further TMC-I test in 11 T is now going ahead.

A novel wireless device which transfers supply power through induction to rotating operational amplifiers and transmits low voltage AC signals to and from a rotating body by way of radio telemetry has been successfully demonstrated in the NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) Dynamic Spin Test Facility. In the demonstration described herein, a rotating operational amplifier provides controllable AC power to a piezoelectric patch epoxied to the surface of a rotating Ti plate. The amplitude and phase of the sinusoidal voltage command signal, transmitted wirelessly to the amplifier, was tuned to completely suppress the 3rd bending resonant vibration of the plate. The plate’s 3rd bending resonance was excited using rotating magnetic bearing excitation while it spun at slow speed in a vacuum chamber. A second patch on the opposite side of the plate was used as a sensor. This paper discusses the characteristics of this novel device, the details of a spin test, results from a preliminary demonstration, and future plans.

Tax reporting is the responsibility of taxpayers after making tax payments. The mismatch between the number of registered taxpayers and the number of taxpayers who report taxes is a separate problem for the government in managing the tax results received. Where the number who report taxes is very small compared to the number of registered taxpayers. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence individual taxpayer reporting compliance. The population used by all individual taxpayers who are registered at KPP Pratama Batam Selatan. While the sample was taken through simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula so that the sample used was 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques are data instrument test, classical assumptions, descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results obtained, partially the application of e-filling and tax sanctions has a significant effect on tax reporting compliance while tax awareness and understanding have no significant effect. The f test results show that all the independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable.
