Abstract The work accident of road and bridge construction projects in Indonesia is quite severe. Every year there is always news about work accidents in the project. While the construction of roads and bridges, especially in Eastern Indonesia, continues to be carried out actively by the government. This research purpose of analyzing the causes of work accidents and their impact on the project. Data were collected at the research location, institutions related to the construction of projects, totaling 40 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis with a multiple linear regression method, it appears that 31 variables causing occupational accidents and 13 impact variables arising from accidents still occur and are very influential with high probability values. Four recommendations were made to prevent fatal accidents in the construction of roads and bridges, in Eastern Indonesia, to improve safety conditions in the construction industry.

The main purpose of the article is to present how the Greek- -Macedonian naming dispute influenced the problem of implementation the international identity of Macedonia. Despite the initial problems of the government in Skopje related to determining their international identity, Macedonians managed to define the principles regarding the identification of a new state on the international stage. As a small country with limited attributes to shape its international position, Macedonia has basically been determined to seek guarantees for its existence and security in stable and predictable European international structures such as NATO and the European Union. The main obstacle for Macedonians on the road to Euro-Atlantic structures was the veto of Greece, a member of these organizations, resulting from Athens’ refusal to accept the name the Republic of Macedonia. The Prespa Agreement of 2018 gave a new impetus to the realization of the international identity of North Macedonia.

ABSTRACT  Related to the implementation of the Regional Regulation (Perda) about the increase in parking rates at the edge of the road prone to congestion in the city of Bogor ratified and entered into force on July 2, 2012, The first location that imposed this tariff is the Way Suryakencana and Jalan Siliwangi Bogor and the second location is the application of The Government through the Department trials Traffic Transportation (DLLAJ) Bogor City gets a reaction from the people around Jalan Suryakencana. Enactment of the increase in parking rates at Jalan Bogor Suryakencana expected to reduce illegal parking of vehicles in the area, which has been causing congestion. With parking rates that have been enacted many road users who park their vehicles in multiple and indiscriminate. The method used in this study is empirical juridical approach. The study, based on an inventory of positive law, the discovery of the principles of law and legal discovery inconcretto, which include observation of empirical operationalization of law in society. The conclusion from this study is the basis of the application of the levy Parking Services Bank Public Road, especially in the city of Bogor is Law No. 28 of 2009 on Regional Taxes and Levies and Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012. Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012 on Increase Rates Parking is not yet fully effective this is due to high payments also has not been matched with adequate services, the responsibility for the damage and loss still be a burden for the owner of the vehicle so that the functions and responsibilities of the government that deal with parking problems is questionable. Impact parking tariff policy to demand that any increase in the parking rate of 10 percent would result in a decrease in the use of parking of 0.7 -0.8 percent, increase use of public transport and cycling amounted to 3.71 percent of 0.9 percent. This figure is even greater in the short term, when applied can lead to a new increase in the elasticity to be about - 0.28., Where the parking lot reducing the length of parking time and reduce the amount of parking.  Keywords: Regional Regulation, Rates Parking, Traffic Order

Greenhouse effect and greenhouse gas mitigation practices are becoming global issues in recent years. The government in Taiwan has also developed policy to reduce CO2 emission and save energy in construction of public projects. The objective of this research is to identify the influencing factors on the CO2 emission of bridge construction projects in Taiwan. Examples of those factors are the type of superstructure, the type of lower structure, the construction methods, the location of the project, and so on. The rules of Carbon footprint are used to calculate the CO2 emission of around 31 bridge construction projects in Taiwan. Results of the calculation of these case projects are then compared to each other for analysis to identify the influencing factors on the CO2 emission of bridge projects in Taiwan. Public owners and designers can refer to those identified factors for constructing bridges with lower CO2 emission. The goal of reducing CO2 emission in construction can be facilitated.

“Why do we have to pay the price of poverty? We didn’t create poverty, adults did.” This might be the sentiment of every child who is forced to work at an age when he or she deserves to go to school unlike the fellow kids who are born in a family that can afford to give them a decent childhood. Child Labor is the single most damaging impediment on the road to achieving the goal of development and the purpose of this paper is to show the obstacles that this social evil poses in the path to development. The study used Exploratory, rather unstructured research design and instruments such as case studies and life histories. The study indicates that the government of India has taken some strict measures to eradicate this evil such as the passing of the Right to Education Bill, illegalization of employment of children under the age of 14 years, schemes like “Sarva Siksha Abhiyan” (Education for all campaign), free afternoon meal and so on. But on the ground level their implementation is shoddy due to (as bureaucrats would put it) practical problems. The problem is of course, in the system but it has more to do with the mindsets of the people too. There are people who speak against child labor in India and back at their own house or office, many of them will have at least one child working for them. People need to realize that what a waste of talent and a major obstacle to a country’s development, Child Labor is.   Keywords - Children. Child labor India. Social evil. Illegal employment.

Negative emotional reactions are the major source of severe accidents on the road. In this paper, an IoT based wearable device is proposed that will estimate the four negative emotions (stress, anger, terror, sad) in the driver and hence would be helpful to prevent roadway disasters. An intelligent stress monitoring control system at the cloud to analyze the sensor signals and to make the decision based upon the variation received in the signals is proposed. This system can also be effective for the government bus drivers. An auditory output response is from buzzer and a warning message is displayed on the screen inside the vehicle. The continuously monitored real time sensor data in the form of graphs is displayed on the PC screen considered as a central server. When any of the sensor value exceeds predefined threshold value, the driver is considered to be in subconscious state and the break system will be implemented to stop the DC motor.

Background: Accidents due to work are something that is very difficult for workers to avoid, such as workers, factory employees, truck drivers and other field workers, so that they require more attention from the government, private sector and other employers as well as from the workers themselves. most commonly we often encounter on the road which causes many casualties. This study aims to determine the factors that cause work accidents on mixer truck drivers at PT Bosowa Beton. Methods: This research uses quantitative methods with an analytical approach and a cross sectional study design, with a sample of 60 drivers. Research Result: The variables related to the work accident of the mixer truck driver at PT Bosowa Beton are road conditions (p = 0.000 < = 0.05) and the work fatigue variable (p = 0.009 < = 0.05), as well as the variable working time with value (p = 0.04 < = 0.05) while for variables that are not related to work accidents are vehicle conditions (p = 0.355), ergonomics (p = 0.474) and smoking (p = 1,000). Conclusion: The most dominant cause of work accidents is work fatigue, it is recommended for companies to conduct periodic testing and evaluation of workforce performance to improve work quality and detect early indications of fatigue. Air pollution comes from many factors, one of which comes from vehicles where the smoke produced by motor vehicles contains dangerous heavy metals, Pb. Ujung Gurun Road is one of the densely populated roads which has many pollutant-absorbing plants that line the roadside. This research was conducted with the aim to determine differences in plant types in absorbing lead content (Pb) of air on the road. Analytical research with a comparative study approach. The measurement used is the Wet Ashing Method (wet ashing) for the destruction of the sample, then analyzed using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Data were analyzed using Anova test to see whether there were differences in Glondokan, Mahogany and Angsana plants in absorbing lead air. The results showed lead levels in leaves of glondokan plants were 0.9134 μg / g higher than leaves of mahogany plants as much as 0.764 ug / g and angsana 0.40 ug / g. There is a significant difference in the types of plants in the absorption of air Pb levels in Jalan Ujung Gurun Padang City with p value 0.002 where p <a. For this reason, the monday plant can be used as one of the plants that can be used as one of the government program plants for the absorption of Pb content of air produced by motor vehicles other than mahogany and angsana.

The European Union (EU) and Serbia?s accession to this international organization in a relatively distant future are linked, in the eyes of the Serbian public, with numerous expectations, dilemmas, misunderstanding fears, joys and periodical manipulations. The topic is important, broad and complex, so there is a need for the basic and understandable explanations. While in Serbia this topic is one of the most important and high on the government?s agenda. In the EU and its member countries, it attracts almost no attention and is not a priority issue. Simply, the EU is concerned with much more important issues, such as its future constitutional system security, energy, globalization, unemployment, immigration, demographic problem (population ageing), monetary union, preservation of the single market and adjustment to the EU eastern enlargement of 2004 and 2007. After introduction to the advantages and problems relating to Serbia?s potential accession to the EU, the attention is turned to the issues that include geopolitical conditions for accession to the EU, legislation and functioning of the EU, as well as its budget. Effects of integration, the EU?s interest in Serbia and Serbia?s interest in the EU are presented before conclusions.

Exploration activities in a decade we're going toward making a significant contribution to the discovery of oil and gas reserves or resources in Indonesia. The success of exploration activities is a joint result of several parties including the government and Cooperation Contract Contractors under SKK Migas control. The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) continues to take various initiatives to find giant discoveries or significant oil and gas reserves. In the road map of exploration activities, a total of around 805 wells and 127,411 km of 2D seismic surveys and 64,513 km2 of 3D seismic surveys have been carried out to search for giant discoveries over the past decade. Exploration drilling activities were mostly carried out in the Western area of Indonesia with a total of 358 wells, followed by the Kalimantan area with planned drilling of 258 wells. Then as many as 195 wells were drilled in Java and Eastern Indonesia with 115 wells. Most seismic survey activities were carried out in eastern Indonesia with a total area surveyed along 60,928 km and an area of 25,470 km2, Kalimantan 24,475 km and an area of 15,287 km2, Java along 22,4455 km and 7,969 km2, the southern Sumatra area 6,708 km and an area of 6,708 km and 4,696 km2 and the survey in the North Sumatra and Natuna area is 12,854 km and 11,091 km2. Besides, various policies have been issued to intensify exploration activities in particular to maintain the Republic of Indonesia's National Energy Security in the eyes of the World.
