Currently, the significance of digital technologies is growing; they are becoming a normal part of human life. Their importance grows mainly in the context of other generations entering schools or the labour market. They are members of Generation Y and mainly Generation Z, whose life is already fully linked to virtual reality, social networks and information technology. E-Learning and its various modifications are one of the applied forms of education. This paper aims to describe the potential, but also the limits of education in the form of e-learning in the context of the development of the society, technological and content requirements on the educational activities as perceived by generation Y and generation Z. Content analysis of scientific resources and researches was the starting point for our work. The paper describes e-learning, its positive and negative aspects and contrasts them with the characteristics of the generations Y and Z. It can be concluded that e-learning has its application in school, extra‑curricular as well as lifelong learning.

This study attempts to describe the value systems of four generations of employees—Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, and Generation Z—as well as to identify differences and similarities between values that are appreciated by them. Moreover, it presents a discussion on the essence and role of values in human life, a comparison of results of domestic and foreign research on differences among value systems, especially work–related values, and, finally, the results of an own study conducted applying qualitative methods. The analyses confirmed that there are many significant differences among the value systems of different generations of employees, but similarities, too. This underlines the importance of being familiar with these differences with respect to human resource management, creating working conditions, and choosing leadership style.

Today's youth, being a keyactor in the use of digital technologies, prefers digital participation in the political sphere of society. The main practices used by young people in their online participation are marginal. The marginality of the political practices of youth is revealed in their hybridity, which manifests itself in the binary of normativity - abnormality, norm - deviation, etc. Using the trend-watching method in the course of the research made it possible to identify the nonlinear and virulent nature of the marginal practices of youth, which makes it difficult to predict their impact, that, according to the authors, actualizes the need to identify the value foundations of their application. Content analysis of young people (18-30 years old) accounts in social networks, Instagram and Youtube channels of public opinion leaders revealed such value foundations of marginal political practices of young people as: patriotism, solidarity, non-violence, participation and independence. The nature of the identified axiological foundations made it possible to draw a conclusion about the transition from the traditional values of political participation of young people to the values of self-expression, the acquisition and implementation of civic subjectivity.

The rapid changes in information technology raises questions about the relevance of sociological theories in explaining the new reality of the cyber society. At least, there are two important questions that must be answered by sociology:  first, what are the characteristics of cyber reality that become the new study area of sociology? Second, how should sociology be reconstructed to understand the new model of society in cyberspace? Through meta-theory study, this research takes two conclusions. First, virtual reality has a character that is different from real reality in daily life. But, frequently, virtual reality is experienced by individuals like everyday life reality, or even more real than real reality. Through the characteristics of simulation, interaction, artificiality, immersion, telepresence, networked communication and anonymity, virtual reality is transformed into a part of everyday life that cannot be separated from human life. Second, facing this new reality, sociology must adjust its scientific construction. Reconstruction of sociology can be initiated by defining what is actually the object of sociological studies on cyber society. Based on the three Ritzer paradigms, this study concludes that social fact, social definition and social behavior paradigms must be reinterpreted to be able to adjust to the latest developments in cyber society.

The text examines the concept of virtual reality. The starting point is the text of Richard Norton's What is Virtuality (1972), which is considered one of the earliest and clearest attempts to define the concepts of "reality" and "virtuality". Other studies have been drawn to trace the evolution of the understanding of virtual reality that has been viewed through the prism of art narratives and the phenomenological approach to information technology.

Communication in a modern world tolerates revolution through new digital technologies and is now almost entirely projected into a parallel digital world. Social networks change the trajectory of interpersonal relationships. Looking at human development, a student nowadays spends much longer time in the virtual reality up to the time they become adults. He/She designs his / her personal characteristics by creating his / her parallel, virtual self. Freedom in virtual reality is a prerequisite for a person to present himself as he is or to the extend of social desirability. This research compares and analyzes the real and virtual personality of contemporary teenagers and looks for correlations between them.

Summary The role of digital technologies, especially the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), increasingly become a key element of diverse interactions between brands and consumers. Homo Cyber Oeconomicus, one of the potential stages of ongoing consumer’s evolution, lives between processes of dehumanization of the surrounding world and humanization of digital technologies. While remaining in a constant contact with smart devices, systems and algorithms, they are looking for new values and meanings, which are a metaphor of their desires, fears and behaviors. As a result, the digital ecosystem, as an attempt to combine the humanism idea with technologization processes, poses new challenges to companies/brands, both concerning the quality of interactions with an increasingly digital consumer and tools used in that process. Chatbots can prove to be an interesting solution here, as their spectrum of potential areas of implementation in business systematically increases. The paper attempts to identify the influence of chatbots on marketing taking into account their role in Human–to–Machine interaction process. A part of these considerations is of the character of philosophical discourse on the role of that technology in human life, which is a starting point for the presentation of preliminary assumptions for a model of consumer-chatbot interaction (digital technology) in marketing activity of companies/brands.

In the context of the rapid development of the information environment, a person’s life path, identity, and the living space of an individual are not only presented in real life, but also in the virtual world, as well as in augmented reality. The mixing of virtual and real spaces cannot but affect the daily life of young people. This article attempts to describe and structure the elements of life models as fragments of a life scenario, broadcast through communities in social networks. The social network VKontakte has become a meaningful field for analysis as it is the most popular and frequently used online platform in the information space for the purpose of transmitting interesting and relevant information among Russian peers. The starting point of the study was the assumption that the content of social network posts describing the spheres of life can serve as a basis for building elements of life models broadcast on the Internet. The research consisted of several stages: preparatory (questioning young people about their preferred Internet content) and the main one (semantic and content analysis of the content of social networks). The sample of the preparatory stage was 110 respondents, the average age was 22 years (SD=2.8). The main sample consisted of over 200,000 posts from the top 20 social media communities (with an average of 4 million subscribers, with entertainment and non-themed content) over the past 2 years. With the help of special program codes and computer programs, the posts devoted to the most significant spheres of human activity were analyzed. It was found that the most popular marker words denoting areas of life in posts are work, relationships, and family. The data of automated semantic and content analysis showed that most often, through posts in communities, a model of an active and purposeful person is declared. This is an individual who is ready for action, flexible, mobile with respect to work and self-development, but conservative in regard to building family relationships. The results obtained confirm the assumption that the characteristics of the components of life models are presented most vividly in the posts of Internet communities, are actively broadcast and have their own characteristics. The results of the research data can contribute to the study of the main mechanisms of transmission between contemporaries of characteristics of behavior in real life, values and information through Internet content, as well as the work of practicing psychologists when referring to the profile on social networks or preferred client communities.
