The article is devoted to the study of modern trends of integration processes. We studied the methodological principles and approaches to the study of the integration of subjects. Specifically analyzed integration levels: individual, regional, domestic, interstate, global. Also, isolated and characterized various forms of integration: political, economic, informational, cultural and others. We analyzed the integration process as a result of the relationship, cooperation, convergence and integration into a single unit of any parts, components countries, their economies, social and political structures, cultural, social and political groups, ethnic groups, political parties, movements and organizations. It is proved that integration has several levels of development. Interaction at the level of enterprises and organizations (first level) – directly to producers of goods and services. The integration of the economies of the main links of different countries is complemented by the interaction at the country level (the second level). The third level of development of integration processes – interaction at the level of parties and organizations, social groups and individuals from different countries – can be defined as a social and political one. Fourth level – is the level of the actual integration group as an economic community, with its characteristics and peculiarities. It was noted that today is used by political science approaches to the study of integration. It is important to the following principles: federalism, functionalism, communicative approach, and others. Keywords: Integration, levels, approaches, studies, European integration, politics, economics, features

The absence of nursing students from classrooms and clinical has a negative impact on their performance and prolongs the length of their studying. The aim of this study is to identify the influencing factors of absenteeism among nursing students at Minia University. This study was conducted at the Faculty of Nursing at Minia University, and Minia University Hospitals. The sample of students that participated in the study represented all academic levels as follows: first level 49/370, second level 49/292, third level 52/248, and fourth level 50/220. Data were collected with the use of a self-administered questionnaire. This study revealed that influencing factors of absenteeism among the studied nursing students indicated that the highest mean scores were associated with teaching factors, followed by assessment factor where means scores were (18.3 ± 4.5, and 17.1 ± 5.6, respectively). Also, the lowest mean score reported was associated with social problems (mean = 8.9 ± 3.2). This study concluded that the most common contributory factors in student absenteeism were related to teaching factors including a shortage of staff in the clinical area, and lack of understanding of the lecture content. Recommendations: Providing a safe learning environment, keeping accurate records of attendance and calculating absenteeism rates at frequent intervals are required for identifying each individual’s pattern of attendance.

This study aims to find out to what extent cognitive component is considered in the translation courses at the English Departments at two faculties of Arts at Taiz University, namely Faculty of Arts, main campus and Faculty of Arts, Turba branch. The cognitive component was selected because it plays a vital role in the development of psychophysiological competence of the translator. The sample of the study consisted of all fourth level students at the two faculties for the academic year 2018/2019. The total number of students participating in the study was 203 students. The study mainly used descriptive quantitative methods. The results of the study showed that the level of application of the cognitive component in translation courses is generally lower than the average or hypothetical mean of the scale (165). The average score of the research sample was (80.3645) with a standard deviation of (26.29714), a t-test value of (-45.856) and a level of Significance of (000.) That is, the application of the cognitive component in the current translation courses is very low and almost non-existent. The study recommended that further studies need to be conducted with a view to finding out to what extent cognitive elements in particular and other psycho-physiological aspects in general are considered in the current translation and interpreting programmes. The study has also recommended that certain activities that can enhance the psycho-physiological components of translators/interpreters should be designed and utilized in the translation/interpreting classroom.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a CanSat pico-satellite developed on the ARM-CortexM4 and FPGA Spartan6 platforms. The CanSat structure consists of four modules distributed in four levels of construction. The first level is the sensor module, consisting of: the IC BME280 (barometer, humidity and temperature), the L70 GPS system and an inertial sensors system MPU6050 and AK8975. The second level is the mission control module and incorporates an ARM-STM32F407 microcontroller integrated with the OS-Micropython that allows programming in Python language. This module has the capacity of data storage using an EEPROM-M24C32 memory and a micro-SD. The third level is the LoRa technology wireless communications module with a 10Km range. The fourth level is the vision module, consisting of an OV7670 camera interconnected with the FPGA XC6SLX16, which functions as a photo and video capture system. The design of the modules was made with SMD technology in PCB of up to four layers. The design of the CanSat protective case in PLA material, manufactured by 3D printing of FDM technology, is presented. Finally, the results of preliminary performance tests are presented.

Abstract Background: The restriction and quarantine due to Covid-19 has led to unprecedented disruptions in the lives of women and children. Due to the increase in violence against women and children, the using of e-health has been considered to provide supportive care in this area. The purpose of this paper is developing comprehensive evidence-based framework of e-health intervention to response women and child violence. Methods: The methodology of this study was based on a two-stage which included literature review at the beginning. In first step a comprehensive review performed for extracting studies that survey the effectiveness of information technology in managing violence against women and child. Researches extracted appropriate articles and summarized important component. The review steps included set questions, search strategy and inclusion/exclusion criteria. The framework was defined based on the literature review and social-ecological model (SEM).Result: The finalized framework for application IT-based interventions in the management of violence against women and children presented in 4 dimension including individual, relationship, community and societal. The first and second levels of this model include 4 dimensions of SEM and 6 types of violence. The third level includes suggestions for managing violence and the fourth level includes IT-based interventions. Surveillance system and information resource system can be used for monitoringConclusion: During Covid-19, domestic violence and economic pressures increased, and vulnerable women and children were at greater risk. It is critical to identify people at risk, to follow and monitor them, to raise the awareness and knowledge of these people, and to empower and provide psychosocial support to these people during this period. In this study, a comprehensive review of IT-based interventions was presented and finally an international framework in this field was described.

COVID-19 has come with an unexpected educative scenario where distance education became a reality in all educational stages. However, attending to every student should still be a must for all educators. This case study examines the effect of a gamified proposal on third and fourth level primary students. The study uses a mixed methods approach analyzing quantitatively students’ participation data (n=138) and qualitatively the viewpoint of the involved teacher through an interview. The quantitative results show statistically significant differences in the students’ participation during the weeks that gamification was applied. Moreover, the interview displays four categories that conform the teachers’ perspective regarding the intervention: inclusion, participation, motivation and personal challenge. In conclusion, the study discloses that gamification may be a useful method to promote an inclusive education, increase students’ participation as well as their motivation. In addition, it contributes to share relevant information transferable to other contexts in order to improve distance education experiences guaranteeing attention to all students.
