<p>Knowledge of the Islam at every student is supported by many factors, one of which is the Arabic language compentence. This research aimed to evaluate and find Arabic language learning construction in strengthening <em>al-Islam</em> at higher education. The desire to find the construction is because there is no visible connection between Arabic language learning and <em>al-Islam</em> learning so that clarity of learning objectives, learning materials, learning implementation, and evaluation systems of Arabic language learning at higher education is needed. In line with this purpose, this study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sources of data were facts, Arabic language lecturers, <em>al-Islam</em> lecturers, and students purposively. Data were analyzed by using critical realism. The results of the study proved that the reconstruction of learning objectives, materials, implementation, and evaluation systems is needed to realize Arabic language learning that can strengthen <em>al-Islam</em> at higer education.</p>

This study aims to describe the Arabic Teacher's website as e-learning based Arabic language learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. There have been many studies that discuss learning Arabic based on E-Learning. However, it is only limited to one aspect while learning Arabic using the Arabic teacher website covers various skills and theoretical issues. The results showed 1) E-Learning Arabic Teacher is a complete website designed as an advanced learning Arabic during the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) The Arabic learning approach by using the Arabic teacher E-Learning website is based on the same teaching method programmed, develop internet-based independent learning effectively using a purposeful computer so that learners can learn Arabic in a balanced way read, write, listen, and speak. 3) E-Learning Arabic Teacher provides several main menus including; Arabic languages such as reading, stories (basic, intermediate, advanced), grammar (nahwu), structures (sentence patterns), dictation (imla'), songs and games (songs and games), Questionnaires (assessment sheets) accompanied by an electronic book, MP3, and Video.

Arabic has a special characters and positions compare to bahasa Indonesia as the mother tongue of students. These conditions are prospect to create joyful learning and teaching. Therefore, through the teaching and learning it is the opportunity to accelerate the process of understanding source language. This research was conducted in higher education of north Sulawesi in Manado. Non-participant observation and in-depth interview were conducted to collect data. Four months of research was studied from May to September of 2016. There was three circles of focus group discussion in validating data for triangulation. This article shows that the learning material consists of two categories language competency and religious teaching. This study illustrate that learning material was integrated to teaching of Islam. Religious material used to developed interactive substantial discussion and the medium of conversation is the Arabic. Additional activities and class hour was programed to enhance student chance to learn and practice outside formal classroom. There were some instructors were provided to maintain student training for couple weeks. This research discusses that in the field of Arabic language learning emphasize constructing learning opportunity environments, it is important which contents are included and it is also students’ great interest how these contents are presented. Lecturers and instructors tried to provide instructional explanations. Furthermore, they communicate and demonstrate prior knowledge and student motivation in determining learning outcomes. The learning provide student opportunity to acquire conceptual knowledge and language competency. The article concludes by considering how embodied language material learning to religious content is the way to speed up two subject in one teaching for curriculum enhancement.

This research aimed to determine the form of Arabic language learning realization through audio visual media on Arabic club students in IAIN Pontianak. It focused on the Arabic learning materials and whether this activity can improve the competence of Arabic club students in learning Arabic language which is expected on KKNI Arabic language for university. This research used qualitative approach using descriptive data through interview from informants in IAIN Pontianak. The result revealed that Arabic language learning realization through audio visual media on Arabic club students carried out by mentors in IAIN Pontianak is not more than the realization of learning pattern which determine on the implementation of the Arabic lesson plan and syllabus, and than the materials taught has referred to the standard of competence expected in university on KKNI Arabic language, and teaching realization can measure the competence of Arabic club students expected in university on KKNI Arabic language. This study aimed at developing a science-based Arabic language learning media based on Android mobile. The research method used was Research and Development. Validators included material and media experts, and practitioners. The testing phase included: limited phase I, II, and field trials. The subjects of the trial were students of the Department of Tadris IPA IAIN Salatiga. The data were obtained from documentation, questionnaire, and interviews. The results of the study were in the form of android-based software called “Bahasa Arab 1” with the validity score of 4.26 (very good); and practicality of 4.25 (very good). The results of the assessment through the limited phase I, II, and field trial stages are 4.30 (very good); 4,41 (very good); and 4.44 (very good). The characteristics and advantages of the product are:  ability to be downloaded through google play store; ability to run offline; available learning objectives, training materials and evaluation of competency tests interactively.

This research aims to explain the importance of teacher professionalism in terms of pedagogy owned by an educator. By mastering pedagogical competencies, educators or teachers can achieve learning objectives perfectly. With this challenge, an educator must complete all aspects of learning, methods, strategies, techniques and models into a complete unity. The type of research used in this research with quantitative descriptive approach, data collection that researchers use is observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. to master pedagogical competencies there are several that we must know including: (1) Able to know the practicality and potential of learners (2) Able to understand the theory and principles of effective learning (3) Able to design and develop curriculum (4) able to carry out educational learning (5) utilizing learning technology (6) Able to communicate effectively to learners (7) able to evaluate the results of teaching and learning. From the pedagogical competencies above, it is expected that teachers can apply all in Arabic language learning, thus the learners will indirectly be motivated to learn Arabic. With the results of research conducted in pondok Tahfidz Hidayatul Qur'an Puding Besar class IX there is a linear relationship between students' perception of teacher professionalism reviewed from the competence of pedagogic teachers to the motivation of learning Arabic by 51.4%.

This research aims to: (1) find out the actual conditions of learning Arabic at MTs NU Miftahul Ulum Margasari; (2) explained the development of Learning Management System (Moodlecloud) Arabic language learning on Arabic subjects at MTs NU Miftahul Ulum Margasasri; (3) to find out the form of implementation of LMS (Moodlecloud) -based Arabic language learning at MTs NU Miftahul Ulum Margasari. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) method. This research used observation and questionnaire on scale of 1-5. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the conditions at MTs NU Miftahul Ulum Margasari support to LMS-based Arabic language learning (Moodlecloud) application; (2) This LMS (Moodlecloud) Arabic language learning was developed according to the needs of LMS users, especially in terms of display and learning materials in Arabic; (3) LMS (Moodlecloud) Arabic language learning at MTs NU Miftahul Ulum Margasari is very acceptable, and can be applied to other subjects.

China’s increasing investment in Indonesia has resulted in higher demand of professional that is fluent in Chinese for business purposes. This research aims to analyze the needs of stakeholder and learners on Chinese for business purposes, and to evaluate whether this needs have been answered by curriculum implementation in higher education level. The writer analyzes the needs of stakeholder and learners by using quantitative qualitative method, evaluates teaching methods and learning materials used in X University in West Java, and compare the analysis of stakeholder and learners’ needs to the evaluation of learning materials and teaching method implemented in X University in West Java. This research aims to provide reference of stakeholder and learners’ needs on Chinese for business purposes, and thus provide basis for the design of Chinese for business purposes curriculum in Indonesia.

Purpose of the study: This research focuses on the link between Arabic language skills with the development of character education. It is aimed at finding a new holistic model in comprehending, developing, and improving Arabic language learning in the context of industry 4.0. Methodology: The research uses a descriptive exploratory qualitative method that links the topics of learning with possible characters that are the potential to be developed. The data collection methodology involves observations as well as interviews. The later author analyzed the data and drew inferences. No software tool is used for data analysis Main findings: This research both reveals and analyses learning materials and methods using the textbook `al-‘arabiyyah li al-nâsyi’în volume 5. In as much as the book is concerned, it contains holistic content on Arabic language skills and the development of character education due to the inclusion of inspiring texts and phases of textual and contextual comprehension. Applications of this study: The research shows that the use of `al-‘arabiyyah li al-nâsyi’în proves to qualify as the new model of holistic Arabic language learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: The use of this book as teaching material is very relevant to the current era. Arabic instructors may consider the paper for teaching language proficiency to non-Arabs by obeying all the determined stages and learning procedures, as found in the teacher's handbook.

This research aimed at analyzing the character education forms and values contained in the folklores of Brebes Regency including their relevance for the old literature learning materials at higher education institutions. This research used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data were collected using an observational study, in-depth interview, note-taking, and documentation. The results show that the folklores in Brebes Regency are in the form of legends and myths. Besides, the folklores of Brebes Regency also contain 13 educational character values consisting of religiousness, hard-working, nationalism and patriotism, appreciating achievements, friendly/communicative, environmental awareness, responsibility, curiosity, discipline, democracy, honesty, tolerance, and social awareness value. Thus, the folklores of Brebes Regency are considered relevant to use as the old literature learning materials at higher education institutions since they are not only appropriate and functional in providing adequate experiences for the students but also containing noble values to follow.
