This research aims to identify learning problems and the parents’roles in overcoming learning difficulties of 5<sup>th</sup>-grade students of Muhammadiyah Karangturi Elementary School, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Research participants were six students with learning difficulties, six parents, and four teachers. Selection of subjects used purposive sampling technique. Research object was the parents’ roles in overcoming students’ learning difficulties. This research was a qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique was the interactive model (data collection, data reduction, data models, and drawing conclusions). The results showed that the problems experienced by students with learning difficulties in Muhammadiyah Karangturi Elementary School were lower than average learning outcomes, slow understanding, and lack of reasonable attitudes, behavior, and emotional symptoms during the learning process. The parents’ roles in overcoming students’ learning difficulties are finding tutoring institutions for children, accompanying children when coming and going home from school, being good listeners, accompanying learning activities at home, taking children on the first day of school, meeting with teachers through parents association, and present at the distribution of learning outcomes report card.

This study aims to: (1) develop thematic textbooks based on local wisdom of our best friend's environmental theme material for grade V elementary school students, (2) Know the validity, practicality and effectiveness of thematic textbooks based on local wisdom of our best friend's environmental theme material for grade students V elementary school. The development of thematic textbook learning media based on local wisdom uses the Research and Development (R & D) method. The development stages include: (1) Potentials and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Product testing, (7) Product revision (Sugiyono, 2016). The research was conducted with 33 students from class V SDN 2 Sendang Jepara Regency. Initial product development is a process of making media based on needs analysis. Expert testing or validation was carried out by 2 experts, namely media experts and material experts. The data collection method in this research is observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and comparison test of two independent groups, namely using the independent t-test. Based on the results of the trial, this thematic teaching material is very valid, very interesting, effective and can be applied in learning. This can be seen from the results of the validation test from three experts which show that the product is good. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the experimental class students had better learning outcomes than the control class. This means that textbooks based on local wisdom of Jepara Regency are developed effectively

THE CONTRIBUTION OF PARENTS MONITORING TO THE INDEPENDENCE OF STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLThe research objective is to examine the contribution of parental monitoring to learning outcomes indirectly through student independence. Type of quantitative research. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used path analysis. The results of the study with parental monitoring, contribute simultaneously to independence. Partially, parental monitoring does not contribute directly to learning outcomes and indirectly contributes positively through independence. Partially, parental monitoring affects independence by 7.34%.

This research aims to improve the ability to understand Javanese aksara in conjunction with the Javanese script monopoly media in VA students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Karangkajen Yogyakarta. This research is a Kelass Action Research (PTK) using the Hopkins model which consists of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 26 grade VA students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Karangkajen Yogyakarta. This research took place in October 2018, in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study are test and observation activities during the learning process. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The data from the research shows that the use of Javanese script monopoly media in learning Javanese can improve the ability to understand Javanese scripts with the same language. The use of these media can attract students attention and motivate students so that learning outcomes increase. This can be seen from the increasing transliteration of Javanese script into Latin writing and vice versa. In the pre-cycle, the number of students who reached KKM were 2 students or 8% to 15 students or 58% in the first cycle and increased to 25 or 96% in the second cycle.

This research is motivated by learning strategies that affect student learning outcomes at TPA Taqwa Pandam, Bonjol District, Pasaman Regency. This study aims to determine the application of learning strategies that affect student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative descriptive and correlational. The population of this research is 50 students at TPA Taqwa Pandam, Bonjol District, Pasaman Regency. The sampling technique used is class random sampling technique. The sample taken is 45% of the existing population as many as 22 people. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire, the data collection tool uses a questionnaire containing a list of statements. The data analysis technique in this study used percentages and Spearman Rho. The results of this study indicate that (1) the learning strategies applied in learning the Qur'an at TPA Taqwa Pandam, Bonjol District, Pasaman Regency is classified as low, (2) the learning outcomes of students are low, most of the students have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or have not been completed, (3) There is a significant relationship between learning strategies and student learning outcomes at TPA Taqwa Pandam, Bonjol District, Pasaman Regency.Keywords: Learning Strategies, Learning Outcomes, Students.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the character values contained in traditional games in the 4th grade elementary school curriculum 2013. This study used a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological approach. This study describes events or phenomena with data in the form of words. Methods of data collection using observation and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data selection, conclusion drawing, and validation. The results showed that 13 traditional games in the 4th Grade Elementary School Student Book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture were gobak sodor, forts, engklek, kasti, marbles, tug of war, woodpeckers and insects, fish, frogs and lizards, hunters and the Javan rhinoceros. , build punden terraces, gangsing, enggrang, and sepak takraw containing values of honest character, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, respecting achievement, friendly/communicative, peace loving, social care, and responsibility.</em></p><p> </p>

This study aims to improve the attitude of love culture with Karawitan extracurricular activities to student’s of SDN 01 Manisrejo, Madiun City. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were all students who followed Karawitan's extracurricular strength which amounted to 24 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results show that Karawitan extracurricular activities can enhance students' cultural love attitude. In the first cycle there were only 19 students or 79.2% who could achieve indicators of cultural love attitude. Whereas in the second cycle there was an increase in the number of students who could reach 24 indicators of cultural love attitudes or 100%. In addition, student activity and learning outcomes also increased. In the first cycle, 75% of the number of students had begun to be active and in the second cycle had increased to 87.5% of the number of students already active during the learning process. While for the percentage of learning outcomes in the first cycle there are 75% of the number of students who have reached the indicator and in the second cycle 91.7% of the total students have achieved the expected learning outcomes indicators.

This study aims to determine and describe the ability of elementary school teachers in preparing the 2013 curriculum-based learning administration tool in SD Negeri 3 Air Kumbang sub-district. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection tools use documentation, interviews, observation and literature review. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's ability to arrange learning administration tools in SD Negeri 3 Air Kumbang District, which is carried out through the process, strategic planning, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation have been going according to what was expected from the start so that there is the ability of the teacher to compile this school administration tool. then it can help in improving the quality of learning at SD Negeri 3 Air Kumbang District. It remains only to how the teacher and all school members maintain the quality of learning that has been obtained by SD Negeri 3 Air Kumbang District.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of science students of class VI by applying the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS). This type of research is the Hopkins model PTK. This research was carried out collaboratively with colleagues to create better learning outcomes. The study was conducted in 2 (two) cycles and each cycle was conducted 2 (two) meetings. The subjects in this study were class VI students totaling 26 people. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and written tests. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The results showed that with the application of the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS) in the first cycle the average value on the learning outcomes test was 69.04 with learning completeness in the classical amounting to (57.69%) In the second cycle the learning outcomes were increased the average value of students is 80.38 with classical learning completeness reaching (96.15%). Thus it was concluded that the application of the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS) through the stages of stimulation, problem formulation, data collection, data analysis, verification, and generalization can improve the IPA material science learning outcomes for class VI

<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study used a qualitative approach with a type of case study research conducted. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and document studies. The data analysis used is the interactive data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of research in the field, it can be seen that from the high-class thematic learning outcomes of SD Santa Angela Atambua that have been achieved through planning and use of learning strategies, it can be said effective thematic learning to provide learning experiences and be efficient in implementation and provide attraction for students to learn.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni teknik analisis data interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan, dapat diketahui bahwa dari hasil pembelajaran tematik kelas tinggi SD Santa Angela Atambua yang telah tercapai melalui perencanaan dan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran, maka dapat dikatakan pembelajaran tematik efektif untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar dan efisien dalam pelaksanaan serta memberikan daya tarik bagi peserta didik untuk belajar.

This article is based on research that aimed to evaluate the implementation of Training Program for English teachers of Ministry of Religions Affair (MoRA) Indonesia in 2018. This study uses a descriptive evaluative research; CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The research sample uses purposive sampling technique with affordable samples (trainers, committees, participants). Data collection techniques are: tests, observations, document studies and interviews. The data analysis technique used by researcher is: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research on the implementation of the CIPP model in the English Language Substantive National Examination Training Program at Center Education and Training, MoRA in the 2018 have been running well (systematic, planned, organized, and continuous).
