With the rapid development of science and technology (S&T), which has a profound impact on human society and the environment, the tension between S&T and ethics has attracted increasing attention. Ethical events occur from time to time in S&T domains, and related issues have aroused heated discussion. In China, the participants in S&T ethical events are mainly professionals in their respective fields. By comparing China with other countries, we can see that public understanding of and participation in S&T ethical events in China still need to be strengthened. This can be accomplished from two perspectives: the promotion of ethical consciousness and the popularization of science.

Abstract By focusing on the books of popularization of science and technology published by Gradiva this research aims at understanding the mechanisms and strategies to bring science and technology to a broader audience in Portugal, after 1974, the year of the Carnation Revolution that put an end to a long half century dictatorship. I use a mix conceptual framework: on the one hand, I use the scientific literacy and public understanding of science and technology main references to explore the public’s behavior and opinion concerning scientific and technological knowledge; on the other hand, I analyze Gradiva’s choices concerning the collections aimed at popularizing science and technology. So, I hope to contribute to map the perception of the Portuguese public about techno-scientific themes that influence their life and decisions, to understand how scientists relate to scientific and technological popularization literature and to assess scientific literacy in the Portuguese population.

At present, countries all over the world have more frequent exchanges in the fields of economy, culture, politics and education. Globalization has been a new development trend of the international society, and international trade has become a key content of global resources, science and technology and cultural exchanges. At present, in the international community, globalization is not only reflected in the global economy, but also in all aspects of the regional economy. The important feature and outstanding essence of the development of international trade is the common development and mutual complement of regional economy and global economy. With the rapid development of Internet technology, the interaction between countries has become more frequent and convenient, and the orderly development of international trade has sufficient hardware support. In the current social environment, it is of practical significance to analyze and explain the relationship between international economic trade and China’s economic cycle fluctuations. Experimental research results show that since my country implemented the strategic policy of reform and opening up, my country has always developed economic development channels based on the idea of cooperating with multiple parties. Although in the international trade environment, there are many risks, but our country is moving forward under the guidance of the ideological policy of cooperation with multiple parties. It can be said that the impact of international trade on domestic economic cycle fluctuations has both positive and negative effects. It is necessary to establish a development strategy that conforms to the development of my country’s economic cycle through the study of objective conditions and actual conditions.</p>

The rapid development of science and technology has led to the emergence of a crisis in society. Science "pushes" religion, but does not offer a new moral code in its place. The definitions of "security" are almost as many and as controversial as postmodernism. For the purposes of this study, however, it will be sufficient to define security as "the functional state of a system that provides for the neutralization and counteraction of external and internal factors affecting or potentially damaging the system." This scientific article presents a study, which seeks to answer the question why the paradigm "security" is so important in the postmodern society, what are the roots of its influence and meaning, and to seek conclusions and guidelines for its increase.

The progress of science and technology tends to give rise to differences between the older generation and the younger generation. Therefore learn the value orientation among young people and learners, especially the attitude of diversity is certainly important. Coaching youth as the next generation is a shared responsibility between families, communities and the nation state. Religious Education can run and practice the teachings of Hinduism so that the formation budhi noble character and noble morals. In the holy book, Bhagavadgita stated two trends affect the human character, the properties of all devata's (daivi sampat) and properties of giant (asuri sampat). Both of these trends are directly or indirectly will shape human character. The rapid development of science and technology these days have influenced the characters of the children, who are faced with heavy challenges. Teaching children should be then directed towards strenghtening their morals. Regarding that, it needs a neo-traditional norm that is based on the traditional origins. The Hindu education could become the normative agent that builds any modern Indonesian characters through their local wisdoms that are motivative to the children. On the instrumental level, the primary values to be taught are autonomy, dignity, creativity, morality, pride, and sense of aesthetics, and democracy awareness. They should preserve the local cultural heritage, including the languages and the arts, while adapting the global trend. As the educators, the teachers at schools as well as the parents at homes must be the role models whose responsibilities and disciplines are followed

What makes research important is an important philosophical question that is a consideration for many researchers. Further important considerations are the public's perception of science and how an individual's perception of science and technology is shaped. These are some of the complex ideas that social scientist Dr Naoko Kato-Nitta, Department of Statistical Data Science, Institute of Statistical Mathematics, Japan, is exploring. She is working on a series of projects related to public perceptions and attitudes towards different scientific disciplines and fields. She hopes that answering such important questions will facilitate the creation of a science communication model for the public understanding of science. Kato-Nitta's research focuses on human behaviour and psychology and how it relates to issues at the interface of technology and society. A key question that she is seeking to answer from the standpoint of cultural capital is how the extent of the general public's participation in science communication can be determined. In the first research to connect social stratification theory and science communication research, Kato-Nitta divided the concept of Bourdieu's cultural capital into two sub-concepts: scientific and technical cultural capital and literary and artistic cultural capital. She went on to consider how these two types of cultural capital affect the exhibit-viewing behaviours of the general public.
