Possible methods of organizing project educational work are proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of performing these tasks are analyzed. The methods of project work are aimed at creating convenient and at the same time aesthetic architectural objects. The methods under consideration are based on practical work, which is the basis of any educational activity in the training of higher school specialists. When forming the educational methodology, the nature and technological possibilities of using color in the design of architectural and design solutions were taken into account. The presented project proposals are based on a practical experiment and demonstrate the possibilities of planning coloristic tasks. The study determines the problem based on the analysis of modern buildings and its architectural solutions. The analysis of this topic highlights the insufficient training of future specialists in the field of using the possibilities of color in architecture and design of residential and public buildings. We substantiate the necessity of developing a holistic, continuous and profile-oriented approach to the process of developing information competencies in design-projecting in higher education. The problem of developing skills of working in a team with production specialists and customers, as well as skills of creating innovative projects, is raised. We solve the problems of improving the effectiveness of training designers in the context of modernization and integration of the content of education at the university, namely: the components of the structure of information competencies in the projecting in design of students of future designers (motivational-value, content-procedural) are formulated and highlighted; the stages of the development of information competencies of students during the study of academic disciplines related to design-projecting are highlighted and substantiated; indicators for assessing the development of basic information competencies in the projecting in design of the design students are developed in accordance with the levels established by the Federal State Educational Standard: reference, standard, threshold; a methods for the development of basic information competencies in the educational design activities of designers are developed. Theoretical conclusions and the scientific and methodic complex of the discipline “Projecting in Graphic Design”, developed on their basis, can become the main component for the scientific and methodic support of training designers at the university in the context of a competence-based approach to training and become the main part of practice-oriented project work in design-projecting in the preparation of future designers at the university, as well as in the development of advanced training courses for teachers of creative specialties.

Objectives. To identify possible pedagogical conditions and methodological techniques of effective teaching influence on the increasing of the cognitive activity and independence (CAI) of students while acquiring and deepening their knowledge in topographic anatomy and operative surgery. Scientific analysis of psychological, pedagogical literature and personal experience shows that the problem of improving the forms and methods of educational work aimed at the increasing of the CAI of students in the process of studying the discipline is always before the teachers. While solving it, there are certain difficulties that many teachers associate with a low level of secondary education obtained, the complexity of the material studied, the admission to the university by means of testing, laziness of students, etc. The experience of the methods used and analyzed by the author shows ample opportunities for improving the cognitive activity of students, taking into account their individual interests and abilities to accumulate professional knowledge. Attention is paid to the implementation of a practice-oriented approach in teaching in combination with a systematic, creative, research, individual one, etc. to ensure the proportionate development of students’ theoretical and practical level of knowledge. A certain range of components of the conditions and factors of the educational process, in which there will be a close, bilateral, interested and productive educational activity of a student and a teacher, promoting the achievement of high educational results is shown.

This paper explores the post-pandemic strategic reorientation of a master in leadership and change management, investigating the conditions for its success and the side effects. The Master, which is part of the Defense Education Enhancement Plan recently approved by the Italian Ministry of Defense, led in partnership by the Center for High Defense Studies and the University of Salerno, aims at developing strategic leadership and change management competencies. The virtualization of the project work sessions that was caused by the pandemic emergency produced unexpected consequences that led the master directors to refocus the program as regards its format and method. The case-study, based on direct observation, unstructured interviews, and analysis of written documents and recorded audio, corroborates the literature regarding the emerging innovative, learner-centered approaches in management education, showing the effectiveness of an integrated educational approach based on traditional in-presence lectures, as well as experiential and project-based learning. It shows how the adjustments devised to cope with the consequences of teamwork virtualization proved to be synergistic, delivering positive outcomes in terms of participants’ satisfaction, learning, and impact. Future research avenues and practical implications are also highlighted, with a focus on the internal and external conditions for successful project-based learning in a distance learning environment.

Abstract Nowadays, at the time of convergence culture, social network, and transmedia storytelling – when social interactions are constantly remediated – e-learning, especially in universities, should be conceived as a sharing educational activity. Different learning experiences should become smoother and able to fade out the closed learning environments (as software platform and classrooms (either virtual or not)). In this paper, we will show some experiences of the Communication Sciences degree program of the University of Cagliari, which is supplied through an e-learning method. In the ten years since its foundation, the approach has evolved from a blended learning with two kinds of traditional activity (online activities and face-to-face lessons) to a much more dynamic learning experience. Many new actors (communication companies, local government, public-service corporations, new media and social media) – indeed – have been involved in educational and teaching process. But also these processes changed: collaborative working, new media comprehension, self-guided problem solving are examples of the new literacies and approaches that can be reached as new learning objectives.
