Paradise Lost has been treated as a controversial epic in misrepresenting characters among some religious writers. In this wonderful epic or out of that, the Satan’s story is a world of ambiguity and bewilderment for human beings, it still continues being obscure. The interpretation of holy scripts causes some misconceptions, overstating and exaggeration especially about Satan. Satan was expelled from the God’s mercy and from His forbearance. He continued to justify his disobedience, he was considered to be very arrogant. This research is going to survey or investigate the comparative and contrastive points of the Holy Quran and the Paradise Lost about Satan. Christian religion is issuing from Heaven and so is Islam. As well as the Paradise Lost was inspired from biblical verses. Hence some matters in case of Satan can be traced and surveyed looking to Quranic text and Miltonic text in this paper. Muslims believe and respect Jesus Christ’s Prophecy. Islam and Christianity both can be celestial religions with the same roots but some differences. In Paradise Lost Satan is presented as magnitude leading character, but from the other side Holy Quran presented Satan is a very wicked and outcast character. Milton attempted to draw God as a passive character and from the other side he also drew Satan as a so active character in his epic poem. Therefore, the similarities and some differences in favor of Satan would be discussed in this scholarly research paper.

The problem of death and immortality is an ontological concern of human being. Islam and Hinduism, like other religions, have always sought to resolve this problem. Philosophical, verbal, mystical, and Qur’anic criticisms have attracted the attention of Muslim and Hindu scholars. The issue of immortality has been examined from different perspectives. In this study, it is examined from the perspectives of the Holy Qur’an and the ancient Upanishads. The use of the word soul in the Qur’anic verses, and then, with references to the early Upanishads is a key point in understanding the immortality of the human soul. In the Qur’an, special attention has been paid to the issue of the soul and has been referred to as a safe soul. In the Abrahamic religions, human creation is distinctive from other beings, and the final stage of creation is that of human being. In the old Upanishads, only the universal human being (Purusha) is considered as the soul and the main source of the world. The true and inward human being (Atman) is only meaningful in the unity and permanent union with Brahma, and the material aspect of human being (Perkeṛiti) is not very important.

Allah SWT; the Omnipotent, Almighty and Creator of the Universe, has created Human beings and Jins for His worship. He bestowed His revelation to His Prophets to guide creatures how to worship Him. Miracles are revealed to support their mission, which were considered manifestations of the prophethood and to nullify the doubts being raised regarding their message. The Holy Quran has testified the revelation of Torah but also verifies that it has been abrogated and manipulated by Jews and their scholars called Rabbis. The present study will undertake that how the Holy Quran and Torah describe the Divine intervention in the form of miracles; bestowed upon His prophet Moses AS, for the purpose to let the antagonists and unbelievers know that these prophets and their mission is true. It is found that there were decisive differences to approach the essence of miracles, presented in both religions; Islam and Judaism, which resulted discrimination in faith. To undertake this study, the researcher has adopted the comparative methodology of text reading and analysis of both Holy Quran and Torah.
