The article substantiates approaches to making decisions of obligations management in the conditions of increasing the assets by types of economic activity in Ukraine. The possibility of using correlation-regression analysis to determine the most favorable variations (in relation of density) between the effective indicator (types of assets) and production factors (types of liabilities) has been proved. A method of analyzing the operating environment is applied to identify the shortest possible reduction in current and long-term liabilities and maximize the volume of current assets. It was found that (i) the most efficient type of economic activity due to the increase in current assets in Ukraine was administrative and support service activities (0.90), the least efficient – agriculture, forestry and fisheries (0.47); (ii) education and training activities (0.93) are the most effective types of economic activity due to reduce liabilities, and health and social assistance (0.44) are the least effective. The results of the study can be used in planning the sustainable development of different types of economic activity. Keywords: liabilities, assets, types of economic activities, entities, profit, efficiency, Ukraine

Any economic activity carried out by an organization, can generate a wide range of environmental implications. Particularly important, must be considered the activities that have a significant negative effect on the environment, meaning those which pollute. Being known the harmful effects of pollution on the human health, the paper presents two models of utmost importance, one of the material environment-economy interactions balance and the other of the material flows between environmental factors and socio-economic activities. The study of these models enable specific conditions that must be satisfied for the economic processes friendly coexist to the environment for long term, meaning to have a minimal impact in that the residues resulting from the economic activity of the organization to be as less harmful to the environment.

An integral communication tool is producing a coherent message while attempting to achieve synergy among different types of communicators. By encouraging a purposeful dialogue and automatic exchange of relevant information, these kinds of tools can improve our mutual understanding, cooperation, collaboration and competitiveness. The main problem in collaboration is finding compatible partners, friends and people (with similar interests) with whom we can build long-term relationships in different fields of life, such as family relations, education and leisure. The same applies to all economic activities. The authors find a solution to this problem in the development of an integral communication tool that has the three main objectives: self-improvement, relationship improvement and qualitative improvement of collaboration. By analyzing the requirements of potential users, the authors have developed a conceptual model of an integral communication tool that explains its basic functions, subsystems and information connections.

This paper aims to consider two tendencies in economy simultaneously: internal integration within the country and localization of economic activities. Firstly, we examine the quantitative measurement of internal economic integration in Romania. Different methods of economic integration measuring have been developed over time, so we have defined and discussed three approaches. To estimate a level of internal integration the link between the region's share in the total output and production factors was estimated and the pattern of distribution of these shares among the regions of Romania was assessed. The calculations have underlined an increasing tendency to deepen the internal economic integration of the Romanian economy. Secondly, the analysis of spatial distribution of economic activity has demonstrated that the capital region Bucharest-Ilfov concentrates the biggest share of employment and production. This indicates that initially there were higher economic activities and a labor deficit has been created, which was later covered by moving employees from other regions. As a result, the capital region concentrates 14.35% of the civil economically active population and 26.78% of the regional gross domestic product in 2014. By computing the location coefficient, we have observed that the counties with the biggest shares in the total GDP are characterized by a higher level of specialization simultaneously in many sectors.

This article deals with immigrants performing irregular economic activities in Czechia; specifically, it presents a typology of immigrants’ aspirations and factors influencing the successful realization of these aspirations. The findings are based on a qualitative data analysis of 177 respondents and utilize a conceptual framework proposed by van Meeteren, Engbersen and van San (2009). Five types of aspirations/immigrants are identified – so called “temporary immigrants”, “long-term immigrants”, “legalisation immigrants”, “working tourists” and immigrants with unclear aspirations. Different types of immigrants must activate different forms of capital to fulfil their aspirations. We argue that some immigrants, engaged in irregular economic activities, do achieve considerable success.

The prospects of socio-economic development of the Far Eastern Federal district (FEFD) are connected with the solution of several problems, one of which is the necessity of transition from a predominantly extractive ("raw") economy and manufacturing, which produces products with high added value. For these purposes, the National Program for the Development of the Russian Far East was developed and recently approved. In addition to solving socio-economic problems, the Program is designed to solve national security issues by ensuring the sustainable development of the state, as well as the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District for the long term. At the same time, it is noted that economic growth should be ensured primarily through the development of the innovation system, modernization of priority economic activities, and improvement of inter-budgetary relations.
