The aim of the paper is to examine, with the methodology of contrastive analysis, the difficulties Hungarian students face in the process of learning Spanish, both in the fields of oral and written assignments. Thus, the paper examines the problematics of teaching both grammar (nouns, verbs, tenses and modes) and pronunciation. Although not all linguists agree on the merits of the use of the contrastive method, it is still indispensable. This method makes it possible to examine the impact of the connection between the mother tongue, and the second and third acquired language, and explore similarities and differences between different languages. The paper applies the contrastive method and its principal focus to the process of teaching and learning Spanish. The author proposes that the use of this method makes it possible to identify and classify the most typical mistakes made by the native Hungarian student, thus making the learning process more easy and effective, and also contributing to the efficiency of the language teacher's work.

Abstract Although questions are considered as important linguistic devices employed by lecturers to communicate facts and ideas to students and facilitate the learning process, they have not been a topic of extensive research. With that in mind, this paper explores the types and functions of questions asked by British and Montenegrin lecturers. It examines similarities and differences between two corpora – standard British academic corpora and a specially created corpus of Montenegrin lectures. Both quantitative and qualitative methodologies were used to conduct a contrastive analysis of lecturers’ questions. The results demonstrate that the differences in frequency, forms and functions of questions prevail over the similarities, which could be the impact of two different linguistic backgrounds and national academic cultures. The findings of this study could be useful in designing lecture-listening and note-taking courses for students in which they can get familiar with the forms and purpose of questions posed by professors. Research findings could be applied in training courses for novice lecturers and might also be useful to professors who give lectures to students with diverse linguistic backgrounds.

The teaching and learning process is the core of education. Everything that has been programmed will be carried out in the teaching and learning process where interaction and involvement is needed between educators and students with materials as the medium. Teaching activities at the strata 1 level involve educators called lecturers and students called students. In general, teaching activities are carried out offline, which involves direct interaction between lecturers and students. At the beginning of 2021, rumors began to appear that there was a global disaster of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, which initially Indonesia considered that the Corona virus was impossible to enter Indonesia. However, the development of the virus is so fast. Indonesia finally announced in early March 2021 as a country experiencing the impact of the global disaster due to the COVID -19 pandemic. This study wants to find out how effective it is to use blended learning by using google classroom and zoom to improve the understanding of FEB students at Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. This research is a quantitative research using causal clause relationship, using SPSS version 23.0 analysis tool. The results obtained from this study are that the Google Classroom and Zoom applications partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on student understanding.

Abstract: All children experience the process of growth and development in life. In order to reach optimal development, the child needs to get the appropriate stimulation provided with the right method. At the age of 0 to 7 years, children learn to use limbs so that the most appropriate stimulation for children aged 0 to 7 years is to use limbs as a medium of learning. This is in line with the techniques performed on sensory integration programs. But unfortunately not many parents know this. This issue often creates problems in child development. The purpose of this community service is to raise the awareness of parents to conduct teaching and learning process in ways appropriate to the age and stages of development owned by children so that children can be optimally developed. This activity is done by making activity planning, determining the location of activities and doing psychoeducation program on the parents of children at Darul Syifa Wal Aitam Foundation that located at Kranji, Bekasi. This activity is an attempt to improve parental knowledge about the importance of sensory integration and the impact it gains when the child's sensory is not well integrated. The benefit of this community service is the increased knowledge of parents about the use of sensory integration methods so that it can be used to optimize the growth of their children.

The COVID-19 pandemic has a very broad impact. This pandemic not only affects health, but also education. This is because measures to prevent the spread of the virus require the application of physical distancing. With the application of physical distancing, conventional learning in the classroom cannot be implemented, so distance learning media is needed to continue the teaching and learning process. Learning media in an educational context is a very strategic instrument that helps determine the success of the teaching and learning process. This is because with their limitations, humans are often less able to capture and respond to things that are abstract or that have never been recorded in their memory. Media can support learning by providing a deeper understanding of the material being discussed. This study aimed to design, build and test a business simulator application integration system (SIMBIZ-Integrated) as a distance-learning medium that could help the learning process which has been disrupted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, this research examines the current conditions of media utilization in distance learning and the effectiveness of the use of business application media in introductory business courses. Keywords: Distance Learning Media Integration System, Integrated Business Simulator Application (SIMBIZ-Integrated), Prevention of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The eLearning instruments that have been researched in the last few years represent a necessity for the Romanian primary school also within the development of the alternative learning sources. These cognitive instruments as D.H. Jonassen names them, are utilized in the USA and are researched in other countries, too (France) in order to be implemented. The aim of this article is to implement and to recommend the utilization of electronic models: text and image processing sheets, presentation sheets, spreadsheets in the teachinglearning process in primary school. According to this aim, the research hypothesis has been issued in keeping with which we anticipate to be able to offer a well thought training in the eLearning field by updating the teaching and learning process with the help of the implementation of a set of electronic models which will increase the intercepting coefficient, the motivation, stimulation, imagination and enthusiasm degree for the learning actors and will redefine the teacher-pupil relation. The main objectives which derive from the hypothesis of our study confine to establishing the impact of electronic models of the eLeaming Set that has been proposed to be implemented on the actors primary school in the teaching-learning process; rendering the teaching-learning process efficient by implementing cognitive models with electronic support; working out an operational guide that contains scientific-practical recommendations and lesson models that utilize PeL; enriching the mathematical thinking. The study sample covers a population that wishes to know, to participate in the implementing of the new technologies. As well as other learning process, the successful Arabic learning can be achieved through several steps. This study aims to explain those steps, and it uses library research. Method of this study covers finding data and sources related to the contrastive analysis in Arabic learning; analyzing the data as well as the sources; and drawing conclusion. The approach used in the learning process can be categorized as a learning difficult foreign language, if it is considered as the perspective in understanding the material. The difficult language is particularly the one that has different systems/subsystems with mother tongue. On the other hand, if the approach is considered as a belief, the successful key to achieve is the use of contrastive analysis. We have to work hard to overcome students' learning difficulties by doing contrastive approach and analysis firstly. However, the most significant part is the goal using contrastive analysis. As the result of this study, hopefully learning Arabic occurs progressively, and absolutely the teaching materials and learning steps need teachers’ ability in mastering the contrasted languages. That is the main factor in achieving the learning to be developed further in using this approach.

This paper reports an analysis of computer conference structures set up for a distance education course in which major components of the teaching and learning involve group discussions and collaboration via asynchronous text-based conferencing. As well as adopting traditional e-moderator roles, tutors were required to design appropriate online spaces and navigation routes for students. Tutors’ views concerning conference structures focussed on tensions between enabling easy access to conference areas, facilitating the successful running of activities, and addressing students’ subsequent needs for retrieval of conference material for assessment tasks. The geographically dispersed course tutors initially explored these issues in reflective online conversations. Comparisons were made between structures that were set up differently but all used for essentially the same tasks and purposes. Evidence from conference messages, from student feedback given in questionnaire and interview responses, as well as from students’ written assignments, provided insights into the impact such structures may have on the student learning experience. Students found conference areas for their own group easy to navigate, but they had concerns about managing the large number of messages; these concerns centred on the volume, threading, linking, length, and language of messages.
