Technological progress cannot be hindered because today, education is entering the industrial era 4.0 characterized by education that uses digital technology in the learning process. With the use of this technology, the learning process is not limited to space and time. The terms religious knowledge and general science should not exist. Science is one unit because its source is from the Koran. This study aims to explain technological innovation in the integration and interconnection of science in Islamic higher education. This research is a research library. Therefore, what is done is exploring several data by examining in-depth reference sources from national and international journal articles and reading books relevant to the research. The data collection method that researchers use is by collecting books, articles, journals, and opinions which reveal and study the Interconnection Integration. The study results indicate that the integration and interconnection of knowledge can be achieved if learning refers to the principles of integration between Hadarah an-Nash, Hadarah al-Ilm, and Hadarah al-Falsafah. Technological advances can be used to achieve these goals, such as e-learning, digital learning resources, and teleconferencing.

Institutions of higher education have strategies on digitization and the use of digital learning resources for their teaching in place. One initiative from the university libraries aiming to operationalize such strategies is a three-year Nordplus project that was completed in the autumn of 2019. The libraries at Aarhus University, Lund University and the University of Bergen have worked together on the development of e-learning objects, and their implementation and evaluation. The aim of the project was to develop the library's teaching of information literacy in a co-creation between libraries, the academic community and students. This article will shed light on the prerequisites that must be met for competency development among participants in a project to take place. We present relevant research and literature, and take a closer look at the project's activities and processes. In the analysis we discuss our experiences in relation to the literature presented, and we conclude, among other things, that participating in a project is engaging and enhances quality in learning processes. We also believe that collaboration in a wider academic network for educational librarians in the future will contribute to a stronger and clearer position as an educational actor for Nordic libraries in higher education.

Today, education is influenced by many factors. Educational institutions face budget cuts, outdated information technology, data security management, and a push to integrate distance learning. Virtualization technologies offer innovative solutions to the problems that arise in this direction. In particular, the extensive use of virtualization in implementing remote and traditional teaching with the use of various e-learning materials, digital learning resources, educational portals, websites, cloud-based technologies. The article presents the directions of the organization of the original educational infrastructure with the use of virtualization technologies implemented by the university in the educational process. This infrastructure provides students and university staff with access to virtual workstations and applications over the Internet, both for working in computer labs at the university and for extracurricular work. Virtualization technologies that characterize the infrastructure functions are presented, which reflect the advantages of this direction, and the final results of research experiments conducted to identify infrastructure problems are presented.

A study has been made for the European Parliament on the understanding of internationalization of higher education (IoHE) in the European context, based on two surveys, an analysis of the role of digital learning, ten national reports from Europe and seven from outside Europe. The study results in conclusions and recommendations on the future of internationalization of higher education in Europe, based on the national reports and a Delphi process among experts in international higher education. This is a summary of the key findings of the study, including a redefinition of the meaning of internationalization.

<p>In order for higher education institutions, which implements blended and/or online learning to remain competitive and innovative it needs to keep up with the cutting edge technological and educational advances. This task is usually very difficult, keeping in mind the budget constraints that many institutions have. This usually implies that existing open source solutions have to be used and adapted to individual needs of each institution. Keeping up with the current technological advances often brings not only financial challenges, but also transitional challenges that may put at risk learning quality and reputation of the institution, as well as performance of students. This work describes the features of the system, results and challenges of transitioning to e-learning system that displays learning materials through sequence of reusable learning objects (LOs) from the system that does not have these capabilities. The goal of such system is to increase reusability of learning content, and moreover, to increase online interactivity and communication between the instructor and students. Findings of this work reveal advantages, disadvantages and potential obstacle of implementation e-learning system with LOs and give an overview of suggestions for implementation improvements. These suggestions are given based on evaluation of implementation of new e-learning system with LOs, after the transition from the traditional e-learning system. Furthermore, based on the research of existing methodologies in the field of information systems, and the results of this research, this work proposes methodology for transferring into e-learning system with LOs. </p>

In the 'Information Age' where the demand of knowledge raises, the students are expected to retrieve more information to support and develop their learning process. Some universities have progressively opened up to the opportunity of e-learning concept, and they are currently integrating e-learning in their teaching to accommodate the diverse need in learning and providing more interactive materials that allow easy access to information.  E-learning has the potential to transform the way of teaching and studying across the board. It can develop standards, and improve involvement in learning. This cannot substitute teachers or lecturers role, but in addition to existing methods it can develop the quality and decrease the time spent. This paper aims at presenting an overview of the extent to which e-learning is used at higher education and explores e-learning from the perspective of students and teachers. It also briefly explains the current condition of e-learning that utilizes interactive technology to enhance the learning experience.Keywords: e-learning, higher education, technology

All universities have changed their visions because of developments in the advancement of education and other disciplines which are generally legitimately linked to global education reforms. The learning arena is gradually influenced by technological advances such as e-learning, IoT etc. which are rapidly and absolutely changing the way educators provide instruction and teach students. A Smart University is a university that uses technological innovation within its organization to accomplish its mission. This research focuses on the concept of a Smart University that incorporates within it the concept of big data and elearning, while showing its impact on teachers, learners and the educational institute in general.

 This issue of Seminar.net contains three articles that were written in connection with a Norwegian e-learning conference titled “Networked collaboration, sharing and response”. The conference was held in Mars 2008 in Trondheim, and the presentations from the conference is available (in norwegian language) at http://www.nvu.no. Networked collaboration was chosen as a theme because collaboration is important to achieve learning, according to the social-constructivistic pedagogy that has a strong standing in Norway, but how should this occur on the net? Sharing of content, as in digital learning resources, is a phenomenon with increasing popularity as described in the OECD-report “Giving Knowledge for Free”. But to achieve reuse of content, not only publishing it, it is important with a networked community where the plethora of information can be sorted with relevance to specific topics. Response is about guiding, coaching and tutoring. In what ways may resources and tools be used to move in the direction of solving Bloom’s two sigma problem/challenge? The first article, by Morten Flate Paulsen, shows how cooperative learning can be implemented successfully so that students have optimal individual freedom within online learning communities. The second article, by Carl F. Dons, shows how student teachers can be prepared to deal with pupils who have a wide range of experiences of the digital world. The third and last article, by Kristin Dale, is sharing experiences with multiple choice-tests to give midterm responses to students. In addition, this issue has a commentary article by Rune Krumsvik discussing the need to develop new practices for teachers and students on the background of the digital developments. The conference and articles covers three big themes. The thrust of this study is to examine the effects of e-learning on the transformative education of Cooperative Members. The descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. Multistage random sampling technique was used to select 300 respondents consisting of 75 Cooperative Leaders and 225 members. A well-structured questionnaire was validated and used to collect relevant data which was analysed using descriptive statistics (the mean and standard deviation). Findings indicate that very few e-learning facilities are available in cooperatives even at secondary and apex levels in the area studied; hence the adoption of e-learning is poor. However, the study revealed that the few e-learning facilities adopted have good effect on the transformative education of the cooperative members. The study also found out that the adoption of e-learning has lots of challenges, including high cost of imported equipment and e-learning facilities; insufficient E-learning infrastructure, inadequate time to develop and implement ICT-using activities, lack of digital learning resources, among others. The study, therefore recommends that specialty training should be given to cooperative leaders to make them keep abreast of the trends in e-learning and they should source for more funds for the improvement of e-learning infrastructure.

Distance learning organized by Universitas Terbuka provides many benefits and opportunities for students in remote areas to get higher education services. For the time being, this learning program is facilitated by e-learning assistance program using technology and information media. This learning process emphasizes unlimited materials for students outside the main source, Buku Materi Pokok, that can be accessed whenever and wherever. The main focus of this tutorial online is to give a chance for students to learn in their free time, give them learning assistance, and measure how they understand the materials given. This emphasizes the learning process independently and autonomously. This article tries to give a new sight in this Tutorial Online about a technique or a model that can be applied. This model encompasses practices, assignments, and tasks can be done independently by students. This learning model will improve and build students’ autonomous learning by providing them with authentic yet simple tasks, practical and independent assignments.

Rapidly technological advancements have led to the emergence of a disruptive era, namely the innovation theory that was initiated by newcumbent, the publication of which threatened incumbent. The effect of this disruptive is a fundamentally significant and widespread technological innovation that changes the way human relations in various heresies is no exception to higher education. When viewed from a quantitative perspective, the growth is quite severe. However, if it is related to its quality, its development is worrying. Therefore, higher education must compete to change the learning system by following disruptive patterns in order to improve the quality of learning that will improve the quality of human resources. In this study there are 2 (two) methods, The results of this study present the readiness of Raharja University in the face of the disruptive era through iLearning. Where in the learning process includes 3 (three) things, called Rinfo, iDu and iMe.With this learning method, students become more innovative and critical thinking.
