AbstractCommunication is one of the most parts in human life. There are several types of communication: interpersonal communication, intrapersonal communication, and mass communication. This study focused on interpersonal communication in education between the teacher and the students. The aim of this study was to know the function of interpersonal communication to solve students’ matter at school. The study conducted in SMP Kristen 2 Salatiga, because the school has had face the problems.The qualitative method was used. Interview and observation were used to collect the data the interview and observation are done with four persons as key respondent: three students and one teacher as counselor. Then, triangulation and content analysis were used to know the respondents’ pattern.The data analysis showed that interpersonal communication gave contribution to solve the students’ matter. The teacher himself should be active by using client center  and exchange theory to solve the students’ problem. Furthermore, if there are some matters between teacher and students or students to students, interpersonal communication is the effective way to solve the problems.Keywords: interpersonal communication, education, students’ problem.

This article uses an examination of journalism and mass communication (JMC) education in Pakistan as a case study to explore the consequences of increased homogenization of JMC education around the world. Anchored by a qualitative method that relies heavily on actor-network theory, the study identifies key moments and people in the trajectory of five Pakistani programmes and explores the connection between these programmes and the larger JMC organizational field. The study concludes by questioning the efficacy of the current power structures within the supranational JMC organizational field before discussing how these influences could potentially be mitigated moving forward.

Communication is central in human life. All activities in human life require communication. The scientific study of the symptoms or reality of communication covers a very broad field, covering all forms of human relations and using symbols. more concretely this includes fields such as Interpersonal Communication, Group Communication, Organizational/Intellectual Communication, Mass Communication and Cultural Communication as seen in various forms of symbolic expression. Noting the seven traditions of communication research as such, communication research seems to be facing an important issue for its development in the present and future, which is pleased with how to try to take steps to get out of the confines of tradition and / or bring together existing traditions. This effort might be in the form of combining one tradition with another existing tradition (trying to synthesize existing traditions) while pioneering an entirely new tradition, for example with a more extensive implementation of historical methods to discover how communication patterns exists in a society in the past and attempts to understand what is now by looking at the past.

This study aimed to describe the happiness of couples with a marriage age above 50 years. The informants consisted of two pairs of husband and wife with a marriage age above 50 years. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews with data analysis techniques consisting of data codification, triangulation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that married couples feel happy shown by having an attitude of gratitude and sincerity for all that is owned or through it from young to old age. The two pairs of subjects believed that in carrying out human life, God's protection was needed and there was God's intervention so that the desire to draw closer to God was stronger in the two pairs of subjects. The factors that influence the happiness of a married couple are (a) the purpose of marriage (b) commitment (c) communication (d) romanticism (e) utilization of time together with spouse (f) religion.

In this study, student ownership of devices actually became a phenomenon found in the field that they could use to find various books in many electronic book applications easily. In previous research, this has become one of the supporting factors of successful booktalks program implementation carried out by researchers. This study uses a qualitative method by exploring student perspectives on the application of booktalks program that utilizes gadget through the application of electronic books in building students’ literacy, the culture of reading and writing. 27 students participated in this study by submitting reflective notes that answered 2 questions about the advantages and challenges that students felt about implementing booktalks program that utilizes electronic book applications. Through content analysis, the results of data analysis showed students positive responses to the implementation of booktalks program that utilizes various electronic book applications in building student literacy.

Zapin Siak dance is a traditional Malay dance which has been cultured, lived, and developed in line with human life from time to time. Zapin Siak dance is danced by two male dancers taking parallel position in a form of motion which generally uses a lot ofThis is a qualitative research using a content analysis method, known as content analysis. The object of research was Zapin Siak Dance in Kampung Dalam Subdistrict, Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The research instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by writing instruments, cameras, and flash drives. The data analysis was done by describing and interpreting various movements of the Zapin Siak dance. It refers to the elements of motion: the head, body, hands, andThe results show that the movement structure of Zapin Siak Dance in Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province, consists of 22 kinem elements, 22 morphokinem elements, 7 motif elements, and one overall dance form, namely Zapin Siak dance. Zapin Siak dance has a syntagmatic relationsip between the motif level and a paradigmatic relationship in overall dance.Keywords: Analysis, Motion Structure, Zapin Siak Dance

The purposes of the research were (1) to describe injustice of a woman or wife (2) to describe a struggle of a woman or wife (3) to describe the effect of injustice toward a woman or wife. Then, it would be the first step in struggling prespective of gender and to complete the analysis of gender  injustice.This research used descriptive qualitative method that explained all element about the kinds of method and the approach. The data of the research were quotes, description, and expression which consist of norm in Catatan Hati Seorang Istri novel by Asma Nadia. In data analysis, the writer used a descriptive analysis and a content analysis and also the conclusions.The result of the research was carried out to show that the Catatan Hati Seorang Istri novel had many stories about exploitation of aman or husband toward a woman or wife and  the struggle of a woman or wife to her rights.Based on the research, it could be concluded that a woman or wife still had ability to struggle her rights. Therefore, it supposed to a woman or wife not to doubt in struggling the  gender equality.

The purpose of this reseach was to explain al-Zahrāwī's contribution to medical science. The method used by researchers was descriptive qualitative method with content analysis technique and research library. As a result of the data analysis, the researchers concluded several important points related to al-Zahrāwī's contribution in medical science namely, 1) al-Zahrāwī was a pioneer in the use of several modified surgical instruments from pre-Islamic civilizations, 2) al-Zahrāwī invented several models of internal organ surgery such as the urinary tract and respiratory cavities, and 3) al-Zahrāwī made an important contribution in the field of medicine (pharmaceutical) in postsurgery procedures.

As a country affected by the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19), Indonesia is experiencing an increase in cases every day. This raises the fear for the sake of public fear of this virus increasing. The practice of this fear has led to a negative stigma to discrimination against patients and sufferers of corona (COVID-19). This Study uses a qualitative method by taking data through documentation of several online news with data analysis using content analysis. This study will reveal the phenomenon of discrimination against sufferers of COVID-19 in the perspective of maqashid shari’ah. the findings in this research show that the attitude of giving a negative stigma and discrimination against corona sufferers (COVID-19) is an attitude that is opposed to the manifestation of maslahah which is an essential value of Islamic law, namely maqashid shari’ah. The use of social media on Twitter can generate new movements to improve the welfare of the community, one of which #Gejayanmemanggil in forming a new campaign to move a united mass. The research used Nvivo12 Plus-based technology applications to obtain Eisen data. This study revealed the use of social media Twitter on the dissemination of #Gejayanmemanggil information. The qualitative method was employed to find a model for social media use as mass communication. The data in this study was taken from Twitter. Results of the data analysis showed that #Gejayanmemanggil proved to be very effective activity on student social movement.
