In digital era, it is possible for the term "home education" which presents the role of the family to the childhood education. The development of children's mathematics involved role of parents lies, so a mechanism needs to be established about the importance of mathematics learning in the early years and its forms about mathematical activities for children. Learning mathematics in early childhood connects the use of formative values, namely observation, assignments, and interviews for planned teaching. Pedagogical practice focuses on the involvement of children in games, reading stories/picture books, doing project work, and learning mathematics through art or physics. This gives the explanation that children in early education with their settings involve mathematical ideas. This research aims to provide solutions and ideas for parents in teaching children of early age (0-3) years old on mathematics. This research also provides an explanation of parental involvement in teaching mathematics by playing together and preparing children to face mathematics at the next level. The research method used is based on field research, literature studies, and observations. Report of evaluation and observation provide good results with the use of one of the learning methods, namely the montessori method. Mathematics until today is still considered a difficult subject so that it needs to think about appropriate strategies to encourage students to be able to regulate themselves in learning this subject. This study aimed to test empirically the role of classroom management and mastery goal orientation towards self-regulated learning. The participants of the study were 177 students of state high schools in Sleman, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The scales used were self-regulation of mathematics learning scale, classroom management scale, and mastery goal orientation scale. The data analysis using two-predictor regression analysis showed that classroom management and mastery goal simultaneously played a significant role by 68.7% (R2=0.687, F (2.177) =191.243, p<0.01). Classroom management predicted self-regulation (β= -0.130, p < 0.01), and so did mastery goal (β= 0.878, p < 0.01). Based on the results of this study, it could be concluded that self-regulation in learning Mathematics can be determined through classroom management and mastery goals concurrently.

This research is motivated by the obstacles experienced by students in learning mathematics, this is of course influenced by the efforts of teachers as educators in achieving educational goals. But in reality, currently there are still many teachers who do not use learning media, especially in learning mathematics. This causes students to experience learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Dakota media on student achievement. One of the learning media that can be used by teachers, especially FPB and KPK material, is Dakota media. The method used in this research is a quantitative experiment. The population and sample were all fourth-grade students of SDN Pasanggrahan for the 2019/2020 school year. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, which means that all populations were used as samples. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. The data collected in this study were mathematics learning achievement obtained through pre-test and post-test. The data were processed using the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that student activity has increased. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained are 0.023 <0.05, which indicates that student learning activeness can affect the role of Dakota learning media on student learning achievement.

Memorizing the Qur'an is not an easy job. Parents need to be involved in guiding and motivating children to memorize the Qur'an at home, so that children's memorization be increases and strong. Sometimes, parents do not guide children back at home, only leave it to the teacher at school. So that children are less enthusiastic in memorizing the Qur'an. Thus the target of memorization that has been set has not been achieved. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents in children's memorization Qur'an education, the motivation of parents to send their children to memorization Qur'an education, and how parents motivate their children to take part in memorization Qur'an education at Integrated Islamic Elementary School Cendekia Darussalam. Research focused on learning mathematics in a 2nd language is generally located in individual 2nd-language contexts. In this ethnographic study, I investigated mathematics learning in 4 different second-language contexts: a mainstream classroom, a sheltered classroom for Indigenous students, a welcome class for new immigrants, and a French-immersion classroom. The study was framed by a view of learning as socialization and the Bakhtinian notion of centripetal and centrifugal language forces. I present 7 socialization events that were particularly salient in 1 or more of the classrooms. For each socialization event, I identify various socialization practices. Based on a comparison of socialization practices in the 4 classrooms, I propose a distinction between language positive and language neutral mathematics classrooms. In language positive mathematics classrooms, students’ socialization into mathematics and language includes explicit attention to different aspects of language use in mathematics. In language neutral mathematics classrooms, the role of language in mathematics tends to be implicit.
