<p>The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the need to redesign the position of Gapoktan’s management towards job satisfaction. This research is a survey research using qualitative approach. The data were collected using interviews, photos, and notes in the field. Populations in this research are stakeholders (Gapoktan committee, farmers, government) who also become a key participant in Hargobinangun, Kaliurang Sleman Daerah istimewa Yogyakarta. The Gapoktan committee’s participant is 5 person, the government is 3 person, and farmers group is 4 person. The result conclude that a position can be redesigned if the job in that position was used to improve the work method, minimize failure and mistakes, eliminate the work load handling that is unnecessary and work duplication, reduce the fatigue, improve the responsibility, and eventually can increase job satisfaction of the management. All of that can be analyzed by job description and job specification which attached to of each management so that eventually the job satisfaction of the management can be improved.</p>

Orientation: Literature shows that job description and career prospect are connected to job satisfaction and it is seen that, in Mauritius, job description and career prospect impact job satisfaction.Research purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between job description, career prospect and job satisfaction in Mauritius.Motivation for the study: It has been noticed that employees are dissatisfied when they perform duties outside their job description and also when they see that they do not have a good career prospect. Despite the existence of several researches, limited research exists in the Mauritian context. The outcome will provide significant relevance to existing knowledge.Research approach/design and method: A quantitative approach was adopted and a survey was conducted in a multinational company in Mauritius. A sample of 132 employees was chosen.Main findings: This research unravelled significant negative relationships between job description, career prospect and job satisfaction. The results revealed that, when duties are not well described or when duties are not in line with current responsibilities, the employees are dissatisfied. Similarly, the greater the chances that employees are not given the opportunity to get promoted, the more they are dissatisfied.Practical/managerial implications: Human resource practitioners, managers and team leaders need to recognise that employee’s moods influence the work pattern in the organisation and a clear job description and an appropriate career plan should exist.Contribution/value-add: Literature on the relationship between job description, career prospect and job satisfaction in the context of Mauritius is almost inexistent. This study will add to existing knowledge.

AbstractIndonesia is one of the countries that has also been affected by the corona virus or covid-19 which originated from China, to be precise in the city of Wuhan. In early 2020 the corona virus or covid-19 began to enter the country of Indonesia. The corona virus has had a huge impact on the lives of Indonesian people, both positive and negative impacts. Communities affected by covid-19 are increasing day after day, but now to be precise in 2021 the increase in covid-19 infections is not as fast as 2020. And the impact is slowly being controlled by both the government and most Indonesians. The Indonesian people are now able to adjust to life in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic, even the hospitality that faded at the beginning of Covid-19 entering Indonesia is now starting to slowly be shown by the Indonesian people. This paper aims to provide information about Covid-19 in Indonesia and the Christian hospitality that should be practiced by the Indonesian people, especially believers or Christians. This research uses a qualitative approach with theological research type and social descriptive research

The purpose of the study with the title the impact of Pontianak City waterfront development on changes in aspects of community life around the banks of the Kapuas river, by taking the issue of how the economic situation of the community around before and after the construction of Waterfront Pontianak City and how the impact of the development of Pontianak City waterfront on aspects of community life around the banks of the river Kapuas. This research method is a descriptive qualitative approach, using interview and observation techniques. The results showed that the changes that occurred after the development of Waterfront Pontianak City experienced positive and negative impacts. Where these changes occur in economic aspects and social welfare. Changes in the economic aspects, namely they feel the income they get increased from before this development. But for the sake of the construction of the Waterfront Pontianak City, the government demolished the houses of residents around the banks of the Kapuas river. So this causes the pros and cons of the community because the community feels that the compensation given by the government is not what they expected.

The study assessed the causes of inefficiencies in the WASH programme at the Demonstration Basic Schools in the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly; examined the effects of the inefficiencies on the learners at the schools, and suggested appropriate strategies to improve the WASH programme. The researcher employed a qualitative approach to achieve these objectives. The population included headteachers, teachers and learners for the study. The study used purposive sampling technique to select 8 participants. This comprised three head teachers, two teachers and three learners from the school. The findings of the study showed that challenges that confront the WASH programme at the schools were inadequate water supply, poor sanitation and hygiene systems, lack of adequate handwashing points, unclean and not properly maintained toilets, lack of quality toilet facilities, lack of menstrual hygiene management (MHM), inadequate sanitary materials, and unhygienic toilet conditions. It is recommended that the government and authorities should improve the WASH system in the school. Moreover, adequate WASH facilities should be provided considering the various guidelines for WASH to ensure that facilities are adequate, sufficient, accessible, and safe for use by learners. Also, the Ghana Education Service should infuse sanitation education into the new or existing curriculum.

Housing and its policy become an interesting issue for the study of social development programs. The CSR program in the housing sector is a form of company involvement in fulfilling access to housing needs as a social responsibility for the impact of company activities on the surrounding community. The method used in this paper is the method of literature or library research, namely by collecting reading material from books, as well as research journals on CSR programs in the housing sector, then analyzing with a qualitative approach so as to produce conclusions as a closing paper. The conclusions in this paper describe the CSR program in the housing sector of PT. Aneka Tambang was carried out in the Nanggung, sub-district of Bogor district. CSR activities are carried out through the home improvement competition program and the implementation of a healthy home improvement. CSR program in the housing sector by PT. Aneka Tambang is a form of company involvement in improving people's welfare as a joint commitment between the government, the private sector and the community.

Many employees can not work as usual, even having to lose work due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Generally, employees have difficulty adapting to the demands that all are done at home or better known as Work From Home. In this situation, employees need to continue to work in the company or its organization while paying attention to health protocols that the Government has established. However, this has an impact on job satisfaction and employee mental health. This manuscript analyzes the impact of the pandemic on employee performance and the role of counselors in optimizing mental health. Many employees feel that their work must be more extra to meet the needs of life to be fulfilled and how the level of work satisfaction of the employees themselves in the face of this COVID-19 pandemic. Here also required an expert or counselor to know the job satisfaction of the employees themselves so that they can still provide services or the best results for the company and himself.

This research is encouraged by the rejection of Jakarta Government Policy which requires the Head of Neighborhood Association (RT) and Community Association (RW) to use Qlue Application in helping the government to overcome the City problem. Research method used is descriptive method within qualitative approach. The informants in this research are Heads of RT and RW. Key Informants are Head of Administrative Village, Governmental Peace of Order Section, and Economic Development Section at Kelurahan Tengah. The results of the research show that Application of Qlue Application Policy has been running well. This is seen from the fulfillment of Evaluation Indicators of the effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy and responsiveness. While the Impact of Development is caused by the Report of City Problems that encourages the creation of Regional Development which is seen from the improvement of service, the development, empowerment, and the participation of citizens in following up the Qlue report.

The income level of smallholder farmers can only meet their daily needs due to the location's remote location and the difficulty of communication access. Based on this, the Government seeks to formulate policies that are expected to have a real impact on increasing the productivity of smallholdings and improving the welfare of farmers. One of the efforts made is the Primary Member Cooperative Credit (KKPA). The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the partnership program at the Windu Nabatindo Lestari (WNL) company in the KKPA scheme, a program to improve the welfare of plasma farmers. The research method is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach using purposive sampling. Research respondents were 60 plasma farmers. Data collection techniques include field observations, in-depth interviews with questionnaires, and analysis of company documents. The results showed an increase in the welfare of plasma farmers after the partnership program. The partnership program at the Windu Nabatindo Lestari (WNL) company under the KKPA scheme positively impacts the welfare of plasma farmers in Pundu Village, Cempaga Hulu District East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan. The frequency of the number of plasma farmers who experienced increased income before and after the KKPA program was 83.3%.

Parents of children with special needs want their children to attend public schools, together with other children. The desire is supported by the government by launching an inclusive school. This study aims 1). Knowing the characteristics of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangkaraya City, 2). Knowing the impact of the presence of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangka Raya city, 3). Knowing the abilities of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangka Raya city. The research approach used is the qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of children with special needs individually vary. However, its main characteristics, namely experiencing weakness in the academic field. On the other hand, children with special needs in Palangka Raya City Inclusion School have more advantages in the non-academic field.

The impact of Covid 19 made the government in Sukoharjo village, Sukoharjo sub-district, Pringsewu regency, pour out village funds that should have been converted into BLT for residents affected by covid 19. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the policies of the Sukoharjo II village government that have been ongoing. This study used a qualitative approach, namely describing the policies adopted in the village of Sukoharjo II coherently. data collection methods using interviews and documentation, then the data collected is analyzed with a qualitative approach. The result is that the Sukoharjo II village government has succeeded in carrying out policies that have been running well based on indicators of evaluation of public policies from William N Dunn, such as effectiveness, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy have been running in accordance with government regulations that determine potential family beneficiaries of village funds in accordance with regulations. issued by the central government and the regional government of Pringsewu Regency by synchronizing the data in advance with the integrated list of prosperous families (DTKS) from the Social Service Agency.
