The research entitled "The Life of Anne Mary’s Figure in the Novel Sekumtum Ruh dalam Merah by Naning Pranoto : Intertextual Study" aims to find out the life of Anne Mary's character in intertextual relations. In this study used intertextual theory with qualitative research methods. The results of this research are the discovery of intertextual relationships in the life of Anne Mary's character in the novel Sekumtum Ruh dalam Merah by Naning Pranoto namely the relationship of life with the queen of England mid 16th century, myths of bloody Mary, Mary Ann's alcoholic beverage brands, and the puppet story of Dewi Anjani.   Penelitian berjudul “Kehidupan Tokoh Anne Mary dalam Novel Sekumtum Ruh dalam Merah Karya Naning Pranoto: Kajian Intertekstual” bertujuan untuk mengetahui kehidupan tokoh Anne Mary dalam hubungan intertekstual. Di dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori intertekstual dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya hubungan intertekstual di dalam kehidupan tokoh Anne Mary dalam novel Sekumtum Ruh dalam Merah karya naning Pranoto yakni hubungan kehidupan dengan ratu Inggris pertenaghan abad 16, mitos bloody Mary, merk minuman alkohol Mary Ann, dan cerita pewayangan Dewi Anjani.

This research study analysis in the form of better about social unrest in a novel Kobaran Cintaku. In assessing novel Kobaran Cintaku researchers used qualitative research methods of analyzing the form of descriptive, description not be the number or coefficient about the relationship between variables. The conflict contained in the novel Kobaran Cintaku: the first conflict between fellow individuals. Conflict strife of different opinions. The second conflict between individuals and group of torture and kidnapping. The third the conflict between fellow group in conflict oppression and war.

This research is generally intended to provide an overview of how the causesand forms of violence experienced by women in relationships with their partners, orthe so-called courtship. In this study using qualitative research methods. This studyshows that the causes of violence that occur in women due to the existence ofpatriarchal culture that developed in the community. In the relationship of courtshiprelationship that occurs there is a tendency that courtship is considered as a form ofownership of which arises instinct to regulate and master. So that the forms ofviolence that appear in this relation identify that women are as parties in the masterby his partner. Beatings, threats, restraints, are the means used by their malepartners in order to organize and master them. While it is recognized that women'seconomic dependency is fulfilled by their partners, the resulting form of violenceidentifies that it makes women weaker and has no strong bargaining position inrelationships. Until the form of violence that resulted in women being thedisadvantaged. This is one way to dominate a woman, the conscious and unconsciousactors force others to do what they want by playing with the fear, feelings of guilt orpity of others in order to exercise their dominance over women.

<div class="WordSection1"><p><em>This research discusses the latent conflict between Sikhs and Tamils in Medan. This study uses conflict theories with the approaches of latent conflict and the sources of conflict itself. </em><em>This research is intended to look at the hidden forms of conflict on the relationship of Sikhs with Tamil as well as written attempts to conflict between the two.</em><em> This research uses qualitative research methods, where researchers directly observe the community and try to analyze every subjective and objective experience in sociology of religion approach. Informants in this research are religious leaders and community of Sikh and Tamil. The results of this study reveal that there are latent conflict between Sikh and Tamil community. Latent conflicts can be grouped in several aspects, among others, on religious-cultural aspects, political aspects as well as socio-economic aspects. In the handling of latent conflicts between both religion, it is necessary for the state and society to pay attention so the conflict not to extend to open conflict.</em></p><p><em> </em></p></div><em><br clear="all" /></em>

Many parents do not understand the concept of faith education inchildren. This could be based on an assumption that children are stilltoo young to be educated in matters of faith. Whereas the family, in thiscase the parents, is an educational institution that is directly related tothe child since he was born. So there is a thought that the family isbelieved to have a very strong influence on children’s religiouseducation. This happens because the relationship that exists betweenparents and children for 24 hours is very important in education.Zakiah Daradjat is an education expert who also believes that theimportance of faith education is given to children as early as possible,so the purpose of this study is to find out how Zakiah Daradjat’sthoughts about children’s religious education are in the family. Byusing qualitative research methods, the author seeks to explain theeducation of children’s faith in the family according to ZakiahDaradjat. The author found that Zakiah Daradjat had clear thoughtsabout children’s religious education in the family, which aims to makechildren as human beings, through the six pillars of faith, with methodsof exemplification, habituation, wrong correction, erroneous quarrelsthat occur and reminding the forgotten. The evaluations carried out inthe form of memorization tests, tests of understanding and practice ofworship. This makes Zakiah Daradjat’s thoughts still relevant to beapplied in today’s life and become a reference for psrents, teachers abdother related parties.

Renovation will not succeed if the designer does not consider user attributes, so the results of the design will be changed according to the needs of user attributes. This happened in Koplakan Blora, which was more spacious and modern, but they complained about the lack of visitors after the renovation. This study aims to determine the characteristics of post-occupant users, interests, responses, and expectations of Koplakan users. Using descriptive qualitative research methods with instrument attributes (comfort, sociality, visibility, legibility) of the user, knowing the relationship between perceptions and user attributes, and knowing the comfortable space settings for the user. The results of the study are based on the required attributes, the user needs a large counter, the location of the sign that is easily visible to visitors, the size of a low counter barrier to be able to socialize with other traders, the shape of the building that is in accordance with the local culinary center

This study concerned the diglossic situation in Rainbow Rowell’s Eleanor & Park, written in 2016. It aimed to describe the use of two different varieties of English in the novel, that is, H (high) variety and L (low) variety of the language. These varieties were found in terms of function, prestige, lexicon (vocabulary) and grammar used by some of the characters in the novel when speaking to each other. The results showed that, in terms of function, the recitation or reading of a poem by one of the characters was conducted in H (high) variety. The H (high) variety used was more prestigious. In terms of grammar, the H (high) variety was also used by a teacher when appreciating his female student who had just recited or read the poem. Some of the words or lexicons used by some of the other characters of the novel were in the form of L (low) varieties. The analysis was conducted through the qualitative research methods proposed by Creswell (2009: 4) who explained that this type of research method is a means for exploring and understanding the meaning individuals or groups ascribe to a social or human problem. Ayse Erkmen is known for her site-specific installations and she created some of her artworks by making use of memory of the space. In these works, the artist transforms the space with its memory into an art material. By making simple but extraordinary interventions to the space, she grasps the past and memories of the space. In this way, in her works she touches the memory of the space created with a minimal reality. In her own words, the practice of the artist, standing at a point "between being an art and not being an art", brings forward the relationship between space and memory with an innovative approach. This research examines the relationship between memory and space that is especially inherent in the artist’s site-specific works. Therefore, a detailed research is carried out on the practice of the artist, who deals with this relation ship in a postmodern context. The aim of this article is to conduct a research on the relationship between space and memory in postmodern art, based on Ayse Erkmen’s site-specific works. In the research, document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was applied. In the article, it has been concluded that the relationship between space and memory in Ayşe Erkmen's works does not contain an utopian discourse. Instead without creating a nostalgic feeling, this relationship carries a postmodern context with minor narratives. Keywords: Space Memory, Postmodern Art

Tanggai Dance is a welcome guest dance in the city of Palembang. Tanggai Dance is one of the dance that until now continues to exist and become a dance that must be known and studied by young people especially women. It is not recklessly to dance the Tanggai dance, but dancers should also know the contents of the dance, because there is a value to be conveyed to the people who appreciate the Tanggai dance. There are two focus problems that will be researched and formulated in the research question which is how the form of Tanggai dance and what is the meaning of the movement of Tanggai dance in the city of Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods. The research aims to discuss the shape and meaning of the dance movements of Tanggai. The discussion of the form uses the concept of Suzzane K. Langer and Soedarsono about the form which means the structure of a relationship of various factors that are intertwined. Discussion of the meaning of motion using the concept expressed by Anya Peterson Roice about the three things of use is, mimetic, abstract, and metaphoric. The result of this research is Tanggai dance in Palembang city is a packaging dance form for welcome guests. Related to the meaning of the whole movement of Tanggai dance that has the meaning of surrender to the Lord Almighty.Keywords: dance form and motion meaning.

This study aims to describe the temperament of characters in the Fighting Notes novel by using Ludwig Klages's personality theory. The focus of this research is on the temperament of the characters contained in the Note Juang by Fiersa Besari. Tempramen is a trait that a person has in him when he will do something, Klages divides the temprament into two parts, namely sangraminis tempraments and pleghmatic tempraments. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods which means a research method that does not use numbers or calculations, this qualitative approach is used with the aim of producing word form descriptions from research that has been observed, in addition this study uses library techniques to get data on research observed. Data analysis in this study used hermeutic analysis with several stages, namely reading objects, marking data found on objects, coding data and analyzing all data with Ludwig Klages's personality theory. The results of this research in the Notes Fighting can be concluded that there are sangunis and pleghmatis tempraments but are inclined to sangunis tempraments that are experienced by many Suar figures.

Recent occupational therapy literature has pointed to significant similarities in the principles of qualitative research methods and the underlying assumptions and values of our profession. This article presents an overview of qualitative methods, an analysis of the relationship between qualitative and quantitative approaches in social and cultural research, and a brief discussion of the issues of reliability, validity, and researcher objectivity in qualitative research. The application of qualitative methods in a research project on juvenile arthritis is used to illustrate an exploration of the importance of such methods to occupational therapy theory and practice.
