The article describes the theoretical and methodological bases of research of the identity of the child in the system of family relationships. Although family-run micro and small businesses largely form the crux of the locally based tourism sector, either as part of a community organization or as independent units of private enterprise, in El Castillo (Nicaragua) can be found an example of how, even in the absence of a community organization to provide a structural framework, the development of local tourism has sustained practically all businesses set up and run by households, organized largely through family relationships. This structure is pivotal in stoking resilience, not only with regard to private businesses, but also to the system of tourism (specific) and, by extension, to the whole of local society and the surrounding socio-ecosystem, or socio-ecological system (SES) (general). The case study presented here, developed on the basis of long-term ethnographic fieldwork, highlights the role of the family structure within Locally-Based Tourism (LBT) in general and also in specific cases, such as the one studied here, in which it takes on a particularly central role. The confirmation of the importance of families and family relationships as key elements in the robust development of tourism in El Castillo, and of the specific characteristics that its local society presents for this, must be taken into account in order to support Community-Based Tourism projects by institutions and organizations interested in promoting sustainable local development. Indeed, once further case studies are conducted, with a view to providing comparative evidence of these findings, it might even be proven advantageous to create a distinctive subcategory within LBT: Family-Based Tourism.

Harmonious and stable family relations are undoubtedly an important component of victory in terms of epidemic prevention. Take the COVID-2019 (2019 new crown pneumonia epidemic) as the major public events background; 24,188 national samples were obtained based on a network survey. We selected gender, education level, occupation type, family scale, neighborhood relationship and psychological state as independent variables, and adopted multiple logistic models to assess the impact of major public events on family relationships and the characteristics of humanistic–regional attributes. The findings are as follows: (1) During the epidemic period, major public health emergencies effectively promoted the national residents’ family relationships. (2) The family relationships of national residents presented a high level in central China and a low level in the border areas of China, which is consistent with the spread of COVID-2019 in January and February. (3) Family relationship level averages between 2.201~2.507 among different groups when divided by occupation, age and education. The family relationship has improved, but the change is not drastic and the gap between various groups is not significant, so there is essentially no difference. (4) The impact of major public health emergencies on all families is nearly sudden and instant, so that family relationship changes are often also abrupt. (5) Educational level, family size and gender have a positive effect on the change in family relations, but this effect is weakened as family education level increases; while the anxiety of the interviewees and the neighborhood had a negative effect on the change in family relationship, this indicates that the better the neighborhood relations are, the more harmonious a family relationship is. The above research can provide an important scientific support and decision-making basis for the government to carry out community prevention work, respond to major public health emergencies and construct a family support social policy system in the future.

ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Mai Heide Ottosen: Correct and Incorrect Family Relations. On Social Constructions of Genealogy This article aims to contribute to the academic debate within the field of family and kinship studies that discusses how nature and culture interplay in the perceived constitution of (late) modern family relationships. Based on a sample of 44 case histories of families gathered from middle-aged Danes, the article explores how individuals are included or excluded as family members. Using the narratives, the analysis focuses on how families have handled critical events such as illegitimate children, post-divorce relationships, adoption reunions and constructions of genealogies, both in the present and the past. The article identifies three shifts in the perception of what “proper family ties” mean over a span of 50 years. In 1950 “proper” refers to normative conformity; in 1975 the proper family relationship was what is authentic; while in 2000 “proper” connotes scientific truth. Although these understandings appear to have succeeded each other, they are all still alive today. Key words: Family, kinship, family law, biographical methods.

The article reveals the problem of psychological violence in the family and considers the gender aspects of the manipulative phenomenon of gaslighting. Manipulations are aimed at forcing other people to perform exactly the actions that the manipulator needs. These actions lead to certain consequences that the manipulator wants to get in accordance with his motives. In a family relationship, the gaslight partner does not care what the victim partner wants and aspires to. It is important to him that others obey. Because the victim partner does not always agree to submit to this pressure, the gaslighter uses manipulation to indirectly influence the motivation, decisions and actions of the victim partner. Manipulative techniques are often veiled in such a way that the victim cannot understand the harmful effects that the partner has on him. The aim of the study was to study the concept of “gaslighting” in the environment of interpersonal relationships of marital partners; studies of gender features of gaslighting; identification of verbal and nonverbal means of manipulation characteristic of a gaslighter; development of practical recommendations on ways to counteract the gaslighter. The results of our study showed that destructive statements to victim partners characterize the specifics of gaslighting as a kind of psychological, emotional violence in family relationships. Women are more told about their mental illness, inferiority, humiliation, success. Men in their address more often hear from partners statements about the wrong perception of reality. The most common manifestations of gaslighting in the family relationships of respondents are: humiliation of the person by the partner, devaluation of feelings and the importance of important events, as well as the transfer of responsibility to the partner. Regarding the manipulative actions used by gaslight partners towards the respondents, we highlighted accusations from partners, ignoring feelings, verbal insults and rejection of the lifestyle of partner victims. The key strategies for resolving family conflicts that respondents use are rivalries and adaptations. In general, based on the results, we found that there is no gender variation in the use of gaslighting by marital partners in family relationships – since both women and men are equally faced with the manifestations of this phenomenon in the family Key words: gaslighting, manipulator, gaslighter partner, victim partner, psychological violence, family relations.

In this review, it is aimed to focus on the integration of spirituality into family-oriented psychological help processes. To conceptualize the reflection of spirituality on the family system more clearly and to make sense of the spirituality-family relationship, the issue of spirituality was examined in specific processes such as in the relationship between parents and children, between spouses and in the transition process from adolescence to late age. The paradoxical nature of spirituality in family relationships was emphasized. For this purpose, spirituality was discussed both as a source of problems and as a source for solutions in family relations. Spiritually oriented psychological clinical help is an emerging field in Turkey. Seeing that spirituality is such an important issue in family relations and marriage, it is aimed to bring a family-focused approach to the spiritually oriented psychological help process. So, by addressing ethical issues, this review aims to offer a new perspective to field practitioners working with couples and families in clinical practice.

Introduction. The problem discussed in the article concerns family pedagogy, which has recently been separated from the pedagogical sciences as an independent scientific field. The object of the research is family development trends and its present state, the topic is the essence of family upbringing, this process mechanisms and their influence on personal development. Family pedagogy does not attempt to create a single rule that is binding on every family and clearly regulates the upbringing of children. It studies only those situations that are controversial and cause the young its difficulty. As all scientific knowledge, its conclusions can never fully replace wisdom and life experience. Preparing youth for family relationships cannot help but affect this aspect of pedagogical activity, more precisely on the preparation of youth for family relationships.

This study seeks to illuminate the relationship between family relations, peer influence, spirituality and drug use among students in one university in Kingston, Jamaica. A cross-sectional survey design was employed to collect quantitative data from 335 undergraduate university students, using self-report questionnaires. The sample consisted of 335 students (69 % male and 31% female) between the ages 18-24 years. 77.6 % of the sample reported drug use within the past year. A significant positive correlation was identified between past year cannabis use and having dysfunctional and stressful family relationships (p<.05); and negative correlations between past year alcohol, tobacco and cannabis use and positive peer influence (p<.05) as well as higher levels of spirituality (p<.01). A connected family relationship was a protective factor against cannabis use, while positive peer influence and high levels of spirituality are protective factors against alcohol, tobacco and cannabis use among the students who participated in this study.

This study aims to examine market reaction to the announcement of female CEOs appointment at companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the period 2010-2018. The first test uses event study analysis through t-tests using the one-sample t-test method. It was found that the market reacts negatively to the announcement of the appointment of a female CEO. Moreover, further tests are carried out to determine the factors which influenced the negative reactions, such as the characteristics of the female CEOs themselves coupled with the characteristics of the company as the control variable. The results of the regression analysis show that the characteristics of female CEOs in the form of family relations with the board of commissioners have a negative effect on market reaction. While other characteristics such as age and education of the female CEOs do not affect the market reaction. Other additional information shows that company size also has a negative effect to market reaction. Things that need to be considered by companies when they want to appoint a woman as CEO is if the candidate for CEO has a family relationship with the board of commissioners. The size of the company also needs to be considered. The bigger the size of the company, the presence of a female CEO is also increasingly in doubt because it is considered to interfere with the company's existing operations and strategy.
