In the furniture industry, some traditional Chinese mortise and tenon joints are not suitable for the current requirements for carbon reduction and environmental protection of furniture products. This article aims to explore new ideas and new methods of modern mortise and tenon structure design. The reduction principle in the green design concept is introduced for the furniture modern mortise and tenon structure design. Based on modern furniture, a systematic analysis of the modern mortise and tenon structure design is carried out. Additionally, this review discusses the method of applying the reduction principle in modern tenon and tenon structure design in the context of green design. The development status and trend of modern mortise and tenon structure design is summarized and an innovative design practice of modern mortise and tenon structure is carried out. The combination of green design and furniture design has important practical significance in a modern context.

In recent years, the problems of environmental pollution and resource shortage have increased year by year, and the topic of sustainable development has aroused widespread concern. The simple sustainable ideas in Chinese traditional culture have made important contributions to the harmonious coexistence between people and nature in ancient China. By analyzing China’s simple sustainable ideas, the author discovered the holistic view in the idea of ‘Nature and Humanity’, the frugal view of the ‘Using wisely’ idea, the concept of benevolence in the thought of ‘love of all people and all things’, the ecological view in the thought of ‘things are not endless’ and the view of life in the thought of ‘Taoism follows nature’, these five perspectives provide systematic sustainable ideas for modern furniture. This article will analyze these five ideas, combined with the development of contemporary society and the development of modern sustainable ideas, looking back on the current status of modern furniture design, so as to explore the specific application of modern furniture design under the simple sustainable ideas and provide new ideas for the sustainable design of modern furniture.

This paper took the application of nanotechnology for green manufacturing as a point of departure, discussed the important roles of nanotechnology in green design, green material, green process, green package and green treatment as follows: nanotechnology reflected the use of natural resources embodying the harmonious coexistence between human being and nature which happened to coincide with the basic idea of green design; with the further integration of nanotechnology and environmental protection, nanotechnology led the development of green material into a new level; the introduction of nanotechnology gave new ideas to the development of green process; green package based on nanotechnology could meet the special functional requirements of package with outstanding green efficacy; the development of nanotechnology enhanced the existing level of green treatment technology, many existing problems could be resolved. And finally it was pointed out that the green manufacturing technology would make further development under the push of nanotechnology.

The focus herein is innovative design ideas for the packaging of Shenyang specialties under the concept of minimization. Through analyzing the current status of the packaging of Shenyang specialties, the relevance between minimized design and specialty package is discussed, while based on actual cases, studies are carried out to find solutions for problems including waste of resources resulted from excessive packaging, homogenization of package images, blurring of audience identification, and unitary sales channel. By redesigning the packaging of Shenyang specialties against the internet-based background and increasing visibility of specialty products, new ideas and methods for the package design of Shenyang specialties are provided taking minimized concept as the entry point, thus to realize value guidance and culture communication under the concept of minimization.

The mixer is the most widely used batch mixing equipment in the rubber industry. The rotor is a core component and has a great impact on the mixing effect of the equipment. The current rotor structure design is done empirically, being tightly dependent on practical experience. This paper proposes a method for optimizing the rotor structure by using optimization algorithms combined with numerical simulation technology. Using MATLAB software, a parametric design program for synchronous rotors and a set of optimization programs for the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm were written. The global distribution index was used as the fitness function to optimize the synchronous rotor configuration. A comparative analysis of the rotors before and after optimization shows that the optimization process is feasible, and the results are reliable. This provides new ideas for the design and development of mixer rotors.

This paper has studied external environmental factors to influence top strategy of Liaoning pale-biotic fossils and the mode to bring forth new ideas on the basis of the top strategy theory, and in combination with the actual situation, it has been advanced that the work to bring forth new ideas in the management of Liaoning pale-biotic fossils should take bringing forth new ideas in the sense of thought as the leading; new ideas in the environment of legal system as the guarantee; new ideas in the system and mechanism as the key; new ideas in the construction of ranks as the fundament; new ideas in the modes and ways as the focal points; new ideas in the mechanism of investment as the base; new ideas in the cultural atmosphere as the soul; new ideas in the developing strategy as the core. The model to bring forth new ideas in the top strategy of Liaoning pale-biotic fossils was constructed, the conclusion was drawn to create continued bringing forth new ideas in the top superiority, it is of practical significance for perfecting the plan, protection and management of Liaoning pale-biotic fossils.

Increased reliance on computers by many companies and public organisations has generated a business risk for them. For example, problems in systems availability can lead to additional cost in operations, lost revenues and competitive losses. Systematic analyses are needed to avoid such losses. Prior research provides rigorous methods for identifying information systems risks and reducing the likelihood of these risks. The analysis of potential business losses in the user organisations has, however, received only limited attention. The objective in this paper is to investigate methods that can be used in the systematic identification of potential losses in the user organisation. The paper provides a review of prior literature on methods that can be used to analyse and report such losses. One understudied method is business process analysis that entails a systematic analysis of potential losses in different phases of the organisation's core business processes. Action research was used to examine the use of business process analysis as a method to associate information systems availability risk with potential business losses. The analysis was carried out in two different companies, one operating in the paper industry and the other one in the finance sector. The study contributes to research by summarising prior research on the analysis of business losses and by illustrating how the use of one method, business process analysis, assisted the client organisations. Perhaps most importantly, it identifies a new topic that has received very little attention in information systems research, despite its obvious managerial and practical significance.

This paper describes carbon reduction techniques as energy saving design and energy saving manufacturing technologies in panel furniture industry. The author points out that reasonable panel furniture design means energy saving design. Designers can get reasonable panel furniture design by using appropriate design platform, doing good color designs and designing wonderful culture characters. Tow examples explained how those did. This paper also classifies the carbon reduction manufacturing process of panel furniture as GT (group technology) technologies, perfect panel board cutting plan and reasonable surface decoration. Some personal working experience is provided to support them.

The frequence and complex of space exploration activeities makes the life of the spacecraft and on-orbit service technologies becoming research hotspot in recent years. But the limitation of non-renewable fuels makes exploration mission costly and maintenance difficult, so the free floating space robot has its unique advantages. Because the research level and control technology is not maturity, study on the free floating space robot control method is the key theory and technology which is the difficulty that our country now needs to overcome, also, the research is of great theoretical and practical significance. This paper introduct an experiment scara mechanical arm based on the free floating space robot project. Main research contents of this paper include the mechanical structure design, and combining with the characteristic of the free floating mechanical arm , it makes kinematics and dynamics modals of the mechanical arm system, additional, it conduct statics test and dynamic modal analysis, which is to make sure that the mechanical arm could satisfy needs and to study its dynamic characteristics.This topic focus on structure design and mathematical modeling of the mechanical arm, it makes the research of control method and trajectory planning no longer stay on the paper, and makes the research more authenticity and accuracy.

The Copley Medal is awarded to Sir Cyril Hinshelwood, O. M., F. R. S. The contributions of Sir Cyril Hinshelwood to chemical research have been recognized repeatedly, and universally. Most of his scientific work has been concerned with the mechanism of a wide variety of chemical reactions, homogeneous and heterogeneous, and in all states of aggregation. These have included processes of fundamental importance in both chemistry and biology. His work has been characterized by a flair for the elucidation of complex processes by the ingenious planning of relatively simple experiments, together with a remarkable insight into the implication of the results. He has influenced the whole pattern of research in chemical kinetics during the past 40 years. His early studies on the mechanism of homogeneous gas reactions clarified theories about molecular activation through collisions, and also led to new ideas about chain propagation in thermal systems. He developed the theory of branched chain explosions, and by a skilful use of both catalysts and inhibitors he has disentangled many complex reactions involving free radicals. In the course of this work he has made important advances in our understanding of combustion, and also of some reactions of hydrocarbons which are of considerable practical significance. From measurements on reactions in the liquid phase he has been able to discover essential differences from the corresponding gaseous processes.
