This article aims to describe the influence of religion and culture in the application of human rights values, as well as the dynamics of its acceptance of legislation in Indonesia. Human rights thoughts and struggles had developed in Indonesia prior to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The embryo of this awareness has flourished in the midst of the bad conditions experienced by the Indonesian people due to colonialism. Precisely since the momentum of the birth of the Budi Utomo movement in 1908, it has laid the foundation for the struggle against the application of human rights values and continues to be a snowball effect in the next period and culminated in the proclamation of Indonesia's independence as a sovereign state on August 17, 1945. In historical records, at the moment of independence, it was the first time Indonesia had a written document containing human rights values, in this case Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945). However, despite being independent, the struggle for the application of human rights values does not mean it will run smoothly without obstacles, The dynamics of socio-political life in Indonesia illustrates how the ups and downs of the application of human rights values in Indonesia, such as the influence of politics, religion and culture. To get the results, the researchers used a qualitative research method with an amperical normative approach.Keywords : Legislation, Human Rights values, politics, religion, cultur. Abstrak:Artikel ini bertujuan memaparkan pengaruh agama dan budaya dalam penerapan nilai-nilai HAM, serta pasang surut penerimaannya pada legislasi perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Pemikiran dan perjuangan Hak Asasi Manusia telah hidup dan berkembang di Indonesia jauh sebelum deklarasi Universal Hak Asasi Manusia pada tahun 1948. Cikal bakal kesadaran tersebut telah tumbuh subur di tengah kondisi buruk yang dialami masyarakat Indonesia akibat penjajahan yang berkepanjangan. Tepatnya sejak momentum kelahiran pergerakan Budi Utomo di tahun 1908, telah meletakan pondasi perjuangan terhadap penerapan nilai HAM dilakukan dan terus menjadi efek bola salju pada masa masa selanjutnya dan membuahkan hasil saat proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia sebagai negara yang berdaulat pada 17 Agustus 1945. Dalam catatan sejarah, dengan momentum kemerdekan ini pula Indonesia pertama kali memiliki dokumen tertulis yang mengandung nilai-nilai HAM dalam hal ini Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Namun demikian, meskipun telah memasuki alam kemerdekaan, perjuangan penerapan nilai-nilai HAM bukan berarti mulus tanpa hambatan. Dinamika dan perkembangan kehidupan social politik di Indonesia memberikan gambaran bagaimana pasang surut penerapan HAM di Indonesia, mulai dari pengaruh politik, agama serta budaya.  Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan noematif empiris.Kata kunci : Legislasi, Nilai-Nilai HAM, Politik, Agama, Budaya.

The literary works written and published during the New Order era were used as the data in this article. During this era there were many literary works which contained social criticisms towards the New Order government. The study focuses on the literary work in the form of poems, and employed the qualitative research method. The theory of literary sociology was used as the main theory while the structural theory and semiotic theory were used as the supporting theories. The social criticisms and meaning which were transmitted by the poets through their poems could be optimally revealed using these theories. The result of the study shows that the poems written by the poets during the New Order era, especially those written by Taufiq Ismail contained a lot of social criticisms; he criticized the law, human rights, politics, education and economy implemented by the New Order government. Such social criticisms were shown through different poetic elements such as the diction, language style, and rhetoric. The social criticisms expressed by Taufic Ismail reflected that Indonesia (the readers) should refer back to the nation’s identity and character as stated in the Five Principles ‘Pancasila’ and the 1945 Constitution.

Timorese culture is patriarchal in that men are more dominant than women. As if women were not considered in traditional rituals so that an understanding was built that valued women lower than men. However, in contrast to the article to be studied, this would like to see the priority of women’s roles in traditional marriages in Belle village, South Central Timor. The role of women wiil be seen from giving awards to their parents called puah mnasi manu mnasi. This paper aims to look at the meaning of the rituals of puah mnasi maun mnasi and the role and strengths that women have in traditional marriage rituals in the village of Belle, South Central Timor. The method used for this research is a qualitative research method using interview techniques with a number of people in the Belle Villa community and literature study to strengthen this writing. Based on the data obtained this paper shows that the adat rituals of puah mnasi manu mnasi provide a value that can be learned, namely respect for women, togetherness between the two families, and brotherhood that is intertwined due to customary marital affrairs.

The purpose of applying education to instill tolerance in society is to form citizens who can realize a common civilization in the life of nation and state, and able to create Indonesian people as a whole. Education is one way to instill tolerant. As for efforts education to instill tolerant attitude in society through: 1) multicultural education and character; 2) education with national insight; and 3) professional education management. The method used in this writing is a qualitative research method descriptive library studi. Expected with education so the community can respect the diversity and eliminate suspicion and discrimination so that the creation of a tolerant society.

AbstractTeacher self-efficacy has been abundantly studied. However, it seems that the consequences of teachers’ self-efficacy have not been appropriately explored yet. The research objective was to investigate the consequences of teachers’ teaching self-efficacy. The researchers used a qualitative research method. They collected the data through semi-structured interviews with 20 EFL teachers who were selected through purposive sampling. The interviews were content analyzed thematically. Findings showed that self-efficacy has different consequences: pedagogical, learner-related, and psychological. Each consequence has several sub-categories. It is concluded that high self-efficacy affects teachers’ teaching practices, learners’ motivation, and achievement. It also affects teachers’ burn-out status, psychological being, as well as their job satisfaction. The findings can be theoretically and pedagogically important to EFL teachers, teacher-trainers, and administrators of educational settings.

Education in the 21 century requires educators to be more creative, but there are still many educators who use monotonous learning methods so that students tend to get bored and ignore learning. Purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of multiple intelligence learning methods when applied in learning Akidah Akhlak. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenemonological approach. The phenemonological approach used is the Schutz approach. Data analysis is an inductive analysis. The subjects that became the focus of this study were the Akidah Akhlak education teachers, seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah one Jember. The results of the research of the Multiple Intelligences method are effective in learning because it can provide learning motivation to students and are able to hone the intelligence of each student.

The purpose of this study was to examine the opinions of engineering students from various departments regarding the progress tracking and digital badge features applied in courses in the Learning Management System (LMS). The phenomenological design which is a qualitative research method is used in this study. Online forms with close and open questions were used to collect data. The study was conducted with a total of 226 students, who studied in 5 different departments. The data is subject to content analysis. According to the research results, students stated that the features tested triggered motivation to complete assignments and develop other students. As for the opinion of some students that these features should be held in every course in the LMS. Despite the general view of an LMS equipped with these features (Moodle), their general view of the features, especially the progress tracking feature and digital badges is quite good. What needs to be questioned is the willingness of lecturers and policymakers to apply it consistently in the campus environment.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan menjelaskan setiap tahap proses revitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Selayar Art untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Pakarena Laiyolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan interaksi analisis. Hasil penelitian yaitu memaparkan hasil kajian berupa proses yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Selayar Art dalam upaya melestarikan tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: Sanggar Selayar Art, tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />ABSTRACT</p><p><br />This article is the result of a study that focuses on the subject matter of how the process of revitalization of Pakarena Laiyolo dance is by Sanggar Selayar Art. The research method used is qualitative research method with an interaction analysis approach. This study aims to describe the process of Islamization of Gresik in the 14th century brought by Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim and recorded in the Babad Gresik I. This study uses the qualitative research method based on the study of literature of Babad Gresik I manuscript which has been in the form of Indonesian translation book written by Soekarman (1990). The results of this study are (1) The profile of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim, including: (a) The arrival of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in Gresik region recorded in Babad Gresik I and (b) The death of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim recorded in Babad Gresik I as well as (2) The methods of da'wah conducted by Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in the process of Islamization of Gresik in the 14th century including two methods, namely: (a) Da'wah methods through the trade/commerce routes recorded in Babad Gresik I and (2) Da'wah methods through education Islamic boarding schools recorded in Babad Gresik I. Overall, it can be seen that there were some contributions of Syaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in the process of Islamization in the 14th  century in Gresik that was recorded in Babad Gresik I.

Kakawin Arjunawiwaha is the first milestone of literature in East Java, in which there is a perfection of life as explained in other stories of wayang. Arjuna as the most handsome puppet play is an ideal illustration of Javanese culture about the image of a knight. This study aims to find out the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha in the Javanese puppet play of Arjuna Wiwaha. This study uses a qualitative research method based on a literature review of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha Wiryamartana (1987) which has been translated into Indonesian. The results of the study include: (1) Describing the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha in the Javanese puppet story Arjuna Wiwaha, (2) The characters in Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha used in Javanese puppets of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha, (3) The response of the Javanese community towards Javanese puppets Arjuna Wiwaha adapted from the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha, especially on the characteristics of Arjuna as a person who is knighted, powerful and exemplary. Overall, it can be seen that there is a connection between the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha and the Javanese puppet play of Arjuna Wiwaha.

This Final Report is entitled "The Policy Implementation of the BANTAR (Clean, Safe, and Smart) Village  Program in Realizing Environmental Development in the Paal Merah District of Jambi City Jambi Province". The purpose of this observation is to find out how is the policy implementation of BANTAR Village and to find out the outcome of the policy program. The method used in this study is the Qualitative Research method. This research uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of the discussion showed that the policy implementation of the BANTAR Village program in Paal Merah District has not been running optimally. This is proven by the fact that not all RTs in Paal Merah sub-district participate in the BANTAR Village program. The obstacle experienced is the lack of funds which causes the program has not run optimally then the second obstacles is many agencies involved causes this program to be hampered, so far the team is only an assessment team, not as development team, so there is no sustanibility of this program because the development team has not carried out their duties optimally. To overcome these problems, the authors suggest the need to make a budget for RTs that follow the program, there needs for socialization related to the program, conduct training for accompanying scholars, the need for CSR from companies in the BANTAR village area and reduce the agencies involved in the program.
