Introduction and Aim: In a medical school, to determine whether students have the necessary infrastructure for distance education, students’ access to educational materials, the concerns and expectations of students about the process. Methods: First, second, third, fourth and fifth-year students, continue through distance education in the pandemic process in Cumhuriyet University Medical School, were included in the study. 336 students volunteered to participate in this descriptive research. The data collection tool used in research was created by the researchers. The data collection tool created by the researchers consists of 24 questions that the descriptive variables of students, their study status and problems in distance education process. Results: Students’ 91.4% entered the university’s distance education module. 82.1% of them stated that they studied less than the old working program during this process. Participants’ 19.3% did not have a suitable study environment at home, 19.6% of them did not have a computer and 12.2% of them had an irregular internet connection. There were significant differences between the presence of a suitable environment for home study (p=0.001), the internet access status (p=0.004) and the frequency of study. The answers given by students to the question of their concerns/problems related to this process; concerns about the distance education module (not getting feedback, problems with material adequacy, etc.) (42.3%), the lack of training (39.0%), concerns about the exam (28.9%), decreased will to study (16.7%), fail the class/low grades (14.6%) were gathered in these main categories, respectively. Participants’ 76.5% felt the lack of occupational practice. 61.6% of them demanded the increase of multimedia items in the materials uploaded to the system. Conclusion: Depending on the pandemic, the duration of distance education process remains uncertain. In this process, especially in occupational practice-oriented faculty such as medical faculties, students have concerns related to these deficiencies. In addition, when planning distance education, faculties should consider students’ availability of having devices and internet access.

This research is motivated by the high participation of learners English in the course of English Tutorial Center Padang, visible high level of attendance, liveliness and discipline of learners. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high participation of learners is due to the process of reward and punishment by the instructor in the learning activities. This study aims to describe the process of reward and punishment by instructors in English learning activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all students totaling 500 people. Sampling technique used is cluster sampling, samples taken at each level/study group as many as 50 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. While the data collection tool use a list of statements. Data analysis techniques use a percentage formula. The results show that rewards in of point, reward, and praise are categorized both given by the instructor, as well as punishments in prefentive and repressive forms categorized well given by the instructor. This is evidenced by the majority of students expressing "often" from each statement given.

This research is motivated by the success of parents in the Taman Pendidikan Alquran (TPA) Jorong Bonjo, this is seen from the provision of learning facilities by parents at home. The purpose of this study is to describe the provision of learning facilities by parents at home in terms of study space, learning atmosphere, and learning aids. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study is the child's parents. The sampling technique in this research is cluster random sampling from entire population. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while the data collection tool questionnaire. Technique of data analysis by using formula of percentage. From the results of the study showed that: the availability of study space by parents in the learning process of children at home, realization of a comfortable learning by parents in the process of learning at home, the availability of learning aids by parents in the process of learning children at home.Keywords: Study Room, Learning Atmosphere, Learning Aids

The purpose of this study is to reveal the perceptions of the teachers, administrators, and academics who had to continue distance education during COVID-19 epidemic disease period, about the problems they experienced and the strategies to cope with the challenges. The working group of the current study consists of 65 teachers. The data were collected via an open-endedwritten interview. Content analysis was applied for analysis of the data gathered. Various important results regarding the use of distance education were obtained during the pandemic period and yielded significant findings. The first and the most important finding is that theachers have difficulties in internet access and lack of infrastructure, classroom management and human resources. Another challenge that participants reported was about teachers’ and students’ behaviours. The last theme stated by the participants is the distance education process itself. The findings reveal that the participants determined their strategies to deal with these problems with new arrangements regarding the classroom management, getting help from colleagues, family members and experts and communicating with students and parents. It can be certainly suggested that the participants are not ready for the distance education process and there is a lack of application in this regard; such as technology support and distance education training, and moreover, the participants do not have sufficient knowledge and experience about distance education.

The purpose of the current study is to conduct developmental comparison of the middle school students’ misconceptions about the concepts of astronomy. The sampling of the study is comprised of middle school students attending a private school located in the west of Turkey. A total of 144 students participated in the study. In order to determine the students’ perceptions of the concepts of astronomy, a data collection tool consisting of five open-ended questions was developed by the researchers. The data collected through this data collection tool was subjected to content analysis; on the basis of the analysis of the students’ responses, codes were determined and on the basis of these codes, themes were constructed. The results are presented as percentages and frequencies. When the findings of the study were generally evaluated, it was concluded that the students have misconceptions about the concepts of astronomy.

Objective: characterizing teaching technologies used or developed in nursing dissertations and theses in Brazil. Methods: adocumentary research that had data collection sourced from directories of theses and dissertations available on the websiteof the Brazilian Nursing Association, from Volumes Nineteen (XIX) (2001) to Twenty-one (XXI) (2013). Results: of 6346studies, 18 (0.28%) used or developed teaching technologies, composed of the following categories: use of conceptualmap; use of games; development of Virtual Learning Environment; development of educational materials; developmentof Distance Education courses; and artifact development. Conclusion: national research on the development and use ofteaching technology in nursing are still insufficient, especially in the North and Northeast. Multiple benefits of the use ofteaching technologies in nursing and learning environments were highlighted, not only for students and professionals, butalso for patients.aprendizagem da enfermagem, tanto com estudantes e profissionais, quanto com os pacientes.

The aim of the study was to determine the level of digital citizenship among secondary school students in Middle East through recruiting students from Southern of Jordan, particularly from Ma'an Directorate to participate in the study, In addition, the study aimed to examine the relationship between students’ level of digital citizenship and their attitudes toward different forms of electronic terrorism. The study sample consisted of 186 school students. The data collection tool was a questionnaire instrument. The results showed that the students had a high level of digital citizenship and their level of digital citizenship was not affected by their gender or their type of the study. In addition, the results showed that the students expressed very unfavorable attitudes toward electronic terrorism. Furthermore, the results showed that there was significant relation between students’ level of digital citizenship and their attitude toward electronic terrorism. Based on the results, the study suggested that to face electronic terrorism among school students, there is need to enhance their level of digital citizenship through providing continues training and meetings that aim to make school students aware of the requirements of digital citizenship.

This research is motivated by the high independence of children, it is suspected a relationship with the cultivation of independence given to the child. The purpose of this study illustrates the cultivation of independence in children by parents in the family in Jorong Giri Maju Pasaman Barat Regency, through the cultivation of child self-confidence, planting the child's habituation, and planting communications with children. This research is quantitative descriptive research. Parents of children aged five to six years are the population and sample in this study. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and data collection tool is a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using percentage calculations. The results of the study found that the cultivation of independence through cultivation of self-confidence implemented by parents is categorized well, the cultivation of self-reliance through habituation conducted by parents is categorized very well, and the cultivation of self-reliance through the cultivation of communication with children by parents is categorized very well. These three aspects of research greatly affect the independence of children.

Diperkirakan jumlah balita di Indonesia mencapai 30 % dari 250 juta jiwa penduduk Indonesia, dan menurut Survey Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (SKRT) nasional diperkirakan jumlah balita yang susah  mengontrol BAB dan BAK (ngompol) di usia sampai prasekolah mencapai 75 juta anak. Fenomena ini dipicu karna banyak hal, pengetahuan ibu yang kurang tentang cara melatih BAB dan BAK, pemakaian popok sekali pakai,  hadirnya saudara baru dan masih banyak lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 1-3 tahun tentang toilet training  di Desa Batu Bersurat Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas XIII Koto Kampar 1. Desaian penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif . Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 1-3 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan besar sampel sebanyak 142 orang. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuisioner yang terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang  toilet training sebagian besar kurang  yaitu sebanyak 81 orang (57%). Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk  memberikan penyuluhan atau pendidikan kesehatan tentang toilet training sehingga ibu dapat menerapkan ilmu yang didapat tersebut kepada anaknya.   It is estimated that the number of children under five in Indonesia reaches 30% of Indonesia's 250 million people, and according to the National Household Health Survey (SKRT), it is estimated that toddlers are difficult to control urination and defecate from age to preschool to 75 million children. This phenomenon is triggered by many things, lack of mother knowledge about how to train urination and defecate, disposable diapers, the presence of new siblings and many others.This study aims to know the description of knowledge of mothers who have children aged 1-3 years about toilet training in Batu Bersurat Village Working Area Puskesmas XIII Koto Kampar 1. Desaian research used is descriptive research. The samples in this study were mothers who had children aged 1-3 years. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique with a sample size of 142 people. The data collection tool used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. Data analysis used in this research is univariate analysis. The results showed that the mother knowledge about toilet training is mostly less that as many as 81 people (57%). It is advisable for health workers to provide education or health education about toilet training so that mothers can apply the knowledge gained to their children.

This study is a descriptive survey model which aims to reveal the measurement estimation abilities of secondary school students. The sample of the study consisted of 91 secondary school students at 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades in the province of Adana. Measurement estimation ability test was used as the data collection tool. This test is comprised of 10 items which include five measurement estimation abilities as measurement of length, area, volume, liquid and weight. The data obtained from the data collection tool was analyzed by quantitative analysis methods. The analysis results showed that the students’ measurement estimation abilities differed according to their gender and that difference was not statistically significant. It was also observed that the students’ levels of measurement estimation abilities were at “acceptable low estimation” level, their general performances in the measurement estimation test differed according to their grade levels and that difference was not significant. Moreover, it was concluded that the length and weight estimation levels of the students regarding length, area, volume, liquid, weight estimation scores were better than the estimation levels of area, volume, fluid. Although their levels increased according to their grade levels, it was not significant according to grade level.

<em>Students are more proficient in foreign languages and Indonesian, this can be seen from everyday conversations that rarely use Javanese. This study aims to determine the vocabulary mastery of Javanese language in elementary school students. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research method. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of Kutosari 7 State Elementary School and Pekunden Elementary School. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire instruments and tests in the form of student worksheets. The results of this study indicate that elementary school students lack mastery of Javanese language.</em>
