Purpose: substantiation of purposefulness of fitness yoga application for strengthening of special health groups’ girl students’ psycho-physical condition and psycho-social health at physical culture training and recreation classes. Material: trainings were practiced twice a week in 2 groups with 20 girl students in every group. Each training session lasted 60 minutes. The following indicators were registered: pressing ups in lying position; torso bending during 30 sec. from lying on back position; rising legs up to 90 degrees angle in hanging position; long jump from the spot; forward torso bending; test for coordination. Health condition was determined by express assessment of physical health. Results: in both groups girl students’ backbone mobility increased (р-0-05). First group’s girl students demonstrated higher results in pressing ups in lying position during 30 sec. (by 7.34+1.2 times) and in long jump from the spot (14.2+0.4 cm). It was noticed that fitness yoga exercises render positive influence on girl students’ psycho-emotional state, general physical self-feeling and physical condition. Conclusions: targeted fitness yoga exercises’ influences on girl-students’ organism are recommended for support and correction of their health.

Use of technology develops learner oral fluency, as well as their other learning skills. The recent research is on the role of modern technology in developing oral fluency of English among the students of intermediate level. The objective of the paper is to answer the question, what role technology plays in developing the oral fluency of learners? This study has been built on the hypothesis that technology has a positive influence on oral fluency, as by using technology learners enhance their oral fluency. In order to check our hypothesis this study used the quantitative data through questionnaire from 200 students (both male and female) aged between 17-19 years, at intermediate level from Government Emerson College Multan and Government Degree College Multan. The framework employed in this study is the input hypothesis by Stephen Krashen (1977). The hypothesis that technology plays positive role in developing oral fluency among students is proved in conclusion.

Background and aim: There is an increasing body of evidence that physical exercise may have a positive effect on people’s mental condition and well-being. Numerous study results indicate that physical activity helps in the treatment of depression and anxiety. This allows for a conclusion that sport – to a great extent – influences not only people’s physical aspects, but also their psyche. Sedentary lifestyle, time pressure and stress that accompanies people at an increasingly younger age contribute both to higher incidence of numerous civilisation diseases and to problems with mental health. The purpose of the study was to verify whether individuals practicing sports manifest better well-being than non-training individuals. Methods: A general interview was conducted with 80 students (40 individuals practicing sports and 40 individuals not practicing sports at all), whereupon they were requested to complete the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale questionnaire. Results: The individuals practicing sport exhibit greater well-being than the subjects from the control group. It was also demonstrated that the males in the study group exhibit greater wellbeing than the females from the same group However, no findings were made that longer duration of a single training session, its frequency or the time when a given person started practicing sport had any influence on his/her well-being. Conclusions: Practicing sports has a positive influence on people’s well-being. Physical activity should be promoted from as early an age as possible to minimise the risk of numerous diseases in the future, including those affecting mental health.

Purpose: to assess students’ health condition by indicators of adaptation potential, biological age and express-assessment. Material: in the research 47 first and second year girl students participated, who belonged to main health group. Results: we distributed the girl students into three groups: 14.89% of them were included in group with “safe” health condition; 34.04% - in group of “third state”; 51.06% were related to group with “ dangerous” health condition. We established that dangerous level was characterized by energy potential of below middle and low level. It is accompanied by accelerated processes of organism’s age destructions and tension of regulation mechanisms. Conclusions: the received results permit to further develop and generalize the data of students’ health’s assessment by indicators of adaptation potentials, biological age and physical health’s condition.

The aim of the study– to evaluate the quality of life of patients after liver transplantation.Patients and methods. The quality of life of patients after liver transplantation was studied with the help of «SF-36 Health Status Survey» questionnaire and correlation analysis of all scales of the questionnaire with the MELD indices, Child-Pugh before transplantation, SCORE before and after transplantation, body mass index, immunosuppressants, presence of tumor, encephalopathy, hepatitis transplant was performed. The results. In the surveyed group, the average indicators on the scales «physical functioning» were reduced by 31.3%, «role functioning due to physical condition» - by 60.8%, «pain intensity» - by 13.2%, «general health condition» - by 33.4%, «Life activity» by 19.9%, «social functioning» by 19.8%, «emotional role functioning» by 52.9%, «mental health» by 11.7%, «physical component of health» by 24.5% and «psychological component of health» by 15.6%. Between hepatitis grafts and psychological health, as well as between the presence of tumors and pain intensity, the correlation coefficient is greater than 0.25, and the significance levels of both chi-square criteria are less than 0.05.Conclusions. Liver recipients have the lowest quality of life on the role-playing scale due to their physical condition compared to healthy liver recipients. A moderate statistically significant relationship between hepatitis grafts and psychological health, as well as the presence of tumors and pain intensity, has been revealed. There are no gender differences in all components of QL in the group of liver recipients.

Starting  with the assumption that if the means used during the training of the high performing javelin throwers are the suitable ones, then, the competition results will be the echo of the consigned effort. The  objective of this research is mainly to correlate the foremost means that were used with the result from the contest and to supervise the physical training before the reference competition. The methods used to investigate the utility were the  pedagogic observation, the  method of measurements and tests, the statistical processing  of the data and the the graphic interpretation of the resulted data. Four of the best javelin throwers in Romania were monitored during a centralized cantonment, with the software „Polar Team” and the results of the control tests during a 3-month training session together with the final competiton result were taken into account. The usage of the software in training may offer the throwers information about the stage of their training and the biological echo of the effort they provided. Regarding the training means used, some of them may be redundant but others can be quite relevant in the obtaining of the sport result: dumbbell snatch, long jump without momentum.Putting aside these means would lead to a better management of the effort and to the preservation of the energy so as to facilitate the restoration.

Regarding the fact that cell shape indicates cell health and is of particular importance in the evaluation of new therapies, in this study, stem cell deformation during Atmospheric Pressure Plasma (APP) treatment was investigated. Given that, cell deformation is a warning of cell damage, it is therefore expected that APP-based therapy, a new modern technology that is expanding worldwide, will not lead to the deformation of normal cells. Here, the stem cells exposed to Helium-fed jet plasma, with two di erent powers of 15 and 25W. Moreover, the duration of exposure was changed (30, 50, 70, and 90 seconds) to determine the most appropriate exposure time and voltage, which maintains stem cells’ health condition. First of all, it was found that cold plasma at low power does not change the shape and elongation of stem cells. Besides, it was found that if the power of a cold plasma source is 25W, it will raise cell growth rate. In this paper, the gas ow rate of the helium plasma jet was set to 3.9 liters per minute, and a plasma source frequency of 30kHz was selected.

Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) is a common childhood disorder affecting movement and coordination skills, fitness, and academic performance. Increased physical fitness may have a positive influence on physical and mental health outcomes in children with DCD. Yet, little has been done to develop interventions to improve fitness performance in this group. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of graded exergames in 7 to 12-year-old children with DCD and typically developing (TD) peers. Participants (32 DCD and 28 TD children) received a 30-min training session twice weekly for 10 weeks. Performance on motor coordination (MABC-2 test), balance, aerobic, and anaerobic fitness tests were assessed at the beginning and end of training. In addition, enjoyment and perception of exertion were measured for each participant during the training period. Both children with DCD and TD children significantly improved on motor coordination, balance, aerobic, and anaerobic fitness at the end of the training. A significant Group by Time interaction was observed on the MABC-2 total [F(1, 55) = 13.19; p < 0.001] and balance scores [F(1, 55) = 26.83; p < 0.0001], with the DCD group demonstrating larger improvements than the TD children. Both groups enjoyed the program throughout the training period even though they rated the training to be of high intensity. These findings indicate that graded exergames may serve as potential treatment for impaired fitness in children with DCD. Regular participation in graded exergames in school settings may be needed to enhance and maintain fitness performance in young children with and without DCD.
