This study aims to produce an essay test instrument for critical thinking skills on chemical bonding material and to know the validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and the difficulty level of the test instrument. The research method uses the ADDIE model with five stages namely analyze, design, develop, implementation, & evaluation. In this research formative evaluation is done, meaning that the evaluation stage is carried out at the end of each stage. The test developed in the study consisted of eight essay items, referring to 10 indicators of critical thinking according to Ennis. Validation of items was done by three validators. Based on the validity according to the experts obtained an average of every aspect, namely 95% material, 96.87% construction and 91.15% language with an overall average score of 94.34% validation has a valid category. Eight valid questions were tested on 20 students. The calculation of the reliability coefficient (r11) with the Alpha Cronbach formula was obtained at 0.65 in the high category, the distinguishing power had an average value of 0.26 in enough categories and the difficulty level of the questions had an average value of 0.42 in the medium category. The developed test instrument is declared valid, reliable, has a good differentiating power, and the level of difficulty of the questions that are being made so that it can be used as a measuring tool to determine students' critical thinking skills.Key word: Research & development, critical thinking test instrument, chemical bonding

Engineering technology in robotics for the present era is no longer new, especially in high education, marked by Indonesian robot contests routinely held annually by the national achievement center. The participants in this event are groups of students from all higher education institutions spread throughout Indonesia. The development of robotics technology is now faster to spur individuals and students to compete to conduct research and development in robotics. The study aims to develop a six-legged robotic motion system or so-called hexapod. The research was conducted using the Addie model research method consisting of five stages, namely, analyze stage to analyze the needs of the development of the robotic motion system and analysis of the needs of tools and materials to be used. The design stage of designing the mechanical structure of the robot both in terms of hardware and in terms of robot software, the development stage of developing a six-legged robot's motion system to be more stable and more efficient in moving, the implementation stage is a test stage of the robot's motion system that has been developed. The evaluation stage is the last stage of this development research; at this stage, the evaluation is done to ensure the robot's motion system is feasible to use.

The development of a module based on Quantum Learning with the theme Kayanya Negeriku aims to see the product design of a module based on Quantum Learning on the theme of richness of my country in grade IV SD, and to see the results of validation for thematic modules based on Quantum Learning on the theme of richness of my country in grade IV SD. This research was conducted at SD 33 Kalumbuk, Padang City. This research and development process is carried out using the 4-D model), namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Can be trusted as follows: 1) the defining stage is conducting curriculum analysis and analyzing the needs of students, 2) the design stage, carried out by designing the material preparation specifications, preparing tools and materials and module design, the resulting product form in the form of modules / teaching materials using the Quantum Learning model, 3 ) the development stage, is the module validation stage, and the module revision stage. and the dissemination stage was not carried out because considering the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic so it was not possible to enter the field. The development was carried out by testing the validity of the module by 3 aspects, namely the material aspect 1 with a value of 3.7 which was very valid category, the design aspect with a value of 3.7 which was very valid category, and the language aspect with a value of 3.6 which was very valid category. Based on the results of the validation of an integrated thematic module based on Quantum Learning, the theme of richness for my country, grade IV SD got an average score of 3.7 in the Very Valid category. This gives an idea that the modules developed are valid and can be used in integrated thematic learning.
