The adoption of new normative documents in the field of education in Bulgaria determines the inclusion of children with special educational needs in general education schools. The significant and integral role which physical education plays in the educational process poses the question of the inclusion of children with impairments in motor activity training as well. Teachers implementing it contribute greatly to its positive effects. The main features of physical education include active motor activity and the related physical workload. In order for them to be adapted successfully to the specific needs of children with different disabilities, more specialized training is required. The analysis of the curricula of the faculties of education in Bulgaria shows that future pre-school and primary school teachers who will be responsible for the physical education of children in kindergartens and primary schools respectively do not receive appropriate training in adaptive physical education. The aim of this article is to present a concept for introducing a training program on "Motor Activity Training and Inclusive Physical Education", intended for students of the specialty Preschool and Primary School Education at the Faculty of Education, Thrakia University, Bulgaria

Purpose : to analyze the influence of physical qualities of foreign female students on their adaptation to physical activity. It is suggested to apply an individually-differentiated training program for this purpose. Material and methods : the comparative analysis of foreign female students from Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan (n = 60) - an experimental group and females from Russian regions (n = 119) - a control group. It was applied the standards of the All-Russian sports complex "Ready for Labour and Defence" by levels (bronze, silver and gold badges) to determine the physical development level. It was applied the system of intragroup rating, which includes monitoring of students' activity at each practical class of physical education. Mathematical and statistical data processing was performed applying Chi-square (c2) at p<0.001, p<0.01 and p<0.05. Results : the speed and flexibility qualities are not sufficiently developed in students from Near Abroad. Comparative monitoring statistically proved the positive impact of the experiment on the implementation of the author's individually-differentiated program. The study significantly revealed that foreign female students statistically improved performance indicators of individual physical development. Female students adapted to the implementation of the educational process of physical education in the multicultural environment of the university. Conclusions : the application of the coordination qualities development program allowed to statistically prove its more significant effect in comparison with the program of speed qualities improving. The students' dexterity development program could be applied in the process of adaptation to the physical activity at the university.

This paper is describes the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a preparatory training program for international medical trainees. The program was offered for one week full time shortly before they begin their residency training programs. First the paper reports on the survey and focus groups that guided the learning objectives and the course content. Next the paper describes the curriculum development phase and reports on the topical themes, session goals and objectives and learning materials. Three main themes emerged when developing the program: understanding the educational, health and practice systems in Canada; development of communication skills; and supporting personal success in residency training including self assessment, reflection and personal wellness. Sample lesson plans and handouts from each of the theme areas are illustrated. The comprehensive evaluation of the sessions and the overall program is then also described. The paper then summarizes the identified key issues and challenges in the design and implementation of a preparatory training program for international medical trainees before they begin their residency training programs.
