Introduction. The relevance of this research is due to the need to identify predictors of implementation of negative creative ideas in future teachers’ activity. The research purpose is to analyze the link between the level of antisocial creativity and values of two levels: as standardized ideals and individual priorities. Materials and methods. The study was conducted at the Moscow City Pedagogical University and in the State-Funded Educational Institution “Omsk State Pedagogical University” (N=109) using the following methods: a questionnaire “Behavioral Features of Antisocial Creativity” (by M. Ranko as adapted by N.V. Meshkova, S.N. Enikolopova, O.V. Mitina and others) and the Basic Individual Values Scale by Sh. Schwartz. Student’s t-test was conducted to compare data in each group and two polar (contrast) groups. Research results. It was revealed that with a similar set of values, both standardized ideals and individual priorities, among female students with a high level of antisocial creativity, at the level of standardized ideals, the value of “tradition” is the most insignificant value (2.56), among female students with a low level of antisocial creativity – “power” (3.1), the most significant value in both groups is the value of “independence” (5.41 and 5.29). At the level of values as individual priorities among students with a high level of antisocial creativity, the most significant value is “hedonism” (2.92), the most insignificant one is “tradition” (0.72); among students with a low level of antisocial creativity, the most significant value is “independence” (2.7), the most insignificant one is “power” (0.58). Female students of pedagogical specialties with a high level of antisocial creativity have significantly lower values related to social focus (the value of tradition – 2.56, while in the group of students with a low level of antisocial creativity – 3.56; temp = 2.2, p≤0.05; safety – 4.36, in the group of students with a low level of antisocial creativity – 5.05, temp = 2.3, p≤0.05), and the values of personal focus are significantly higher (“power” – 1.85, in the group of female students with a low level of antisocial creativity – 0.58; temp = 2.9, p≤0.05). At the level of values, both standardized ideals and individual priorities among female students with a high level of antisocial creativity, the most insignificant values are the values of social focus – “tradition”, among female students with a low level of antisocial creativity – an individual focus on “power”. Research prospects. The identification of personal predictors of antisocial creativity in future teachers, both female and male students, as well as environmental factors contributing to the manifestation and overcoming of antisocial creativity in the pedagogical activity, is of particular importance.

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the importance of the process of forecasting the results of professional training of teachers. On the example of studying the methodical competence of future teachers of humanitarian specialties, a method is proposed for predicting the prospects for the formation of this professional and personal phenomenon, which is important for the effectiveness and efficiency of future pedagogical activity, in a higher educational institution. In the article, based on the analysis of scientific literature, the essence of the concepts of "forecast", "forecasting" is disclosed, a mathematical apparatus (the method of regression analysis) is proposed, which made it possible to create a mathematical model of the phenomenon under study. The presented research results confirmed the possibilities and prospects on the basis he methodological culture of future teachers of humanitarian specialties.

Background: Unplanned pregnancies amongst students at higher education institutions are a major concern worldwide, including South Africa. Apart from various social and psychological challenges, unplanned pregnancies affect students’ objectives of achieving academic success. Research undertaken in the United States of America (USA) indicates that around 80% of female students in institutions of higher education between ages 18 and 24 are sexually active. Objectives: To assess and describe the use of contraceptives by undergraduate female students in a selected higher educational institution in Gauteng.Method: A cross-sectional, descriptive, quantitative design was used. A total of 400 female undergraduate students were requested to respond to a self-administered questionnaire. Stratified random sampling was used to select the participants. They were selected systematically from two campuses. Data were entered using an excel sheet at the Department of Statistics, and analysed using the Statistical Analysis Software programme, (SAS version 9.3), of the Department of Statistics’ higher educational institutions. Results: A total of 74%females indicated they were sexually active, 79%of whom reported using contraceptives. The most common used methods were oral contraceptives at 38%, and 25% for male condoms. The most commonly known methods were condoms at 84%, and the oral contraceptive at 68%. The knowledge of condom use to prevent sexually transmitted diseases was high at 91%.Conclusion: Inadequate knowledge and awareness on some contraceptive methods was found. Thus, educational programmes to increase students’ knowledge on the use of all contraceptive methods are urgently needed

The change of society, in particular concerning the generation of contemporary parents, imposes new requirements on pre-school education teachers and their competences. In case of teachers, it is not only pedagogical literacy, consisting of general, psychological knowledge, as well as knowledge about the child that are necessary. The skills of activity planning and organisation, organisation of education process, active involvement in the change of pre-school education system are also required. Moreover, the competences of communication and collaboration with parents, the ability to adapt and find necessary access to parents of the contemporary generation, the ability to involve them into the activities of an educational institution, empower parents to become competent partners of teachers are of appropriate significance. All these skills, although within different scopes, are taught and developed by future pre-school education teachers during their university education and internships. The aim of the study is to reveal, according to the opinion of students – future teachers - which pre-school education teacher competences are the most meaningful in order to ensure a successful partnership with parents of the contemporary generation. The applied research methods are as follows: the analysis of content of scientific information resources (to reveal the theoretical context), questions in writing (to collect empirical data) and content analysis (analysis of empirical data). The scope of qualitative research is 18 informants who agreed to participate in the research. They are students – future pre-school education teachers. The study results showed that the informants mostly emphasise the competence of pedagogical literacy that includes knowledge about the child, personal features of teachers helping to promote partnership relations with parents and students of the contemporary generation, professional expertise and values. The following features were accentuated: patience, self-confidence, benevolence in communication with parents of the contemporary generation with different attitudes and expectations. Future teachers did not focus on the competences of education process organisation, i.e. the ability to organise education process based on human resources – the parents. Thus, parents are not sufficiently involved in the education process. They pay little attention to the competence of activity prediction and planning.
