Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh anggapan bahwa seluruh kosa kata bahasa Sunda yang digunakan oleh penutur dalam berkomunikasi sehari-hari merupakan bahasa asli. Padahal sebagian dari kosa kata tersebut merupakan kata serapan dari bahasa lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kata serapan bahasa Sunda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode desktiptif, dengan teknik mengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Sumber data berupa majalah Manglé nomor 2517 yang terbit bulan Maret 2015. Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik analisis unsur langsung dengan pendekatan etimologi, morfologi, dan grafologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan lima hal, diantaranya adalah (1) ditemukan 12 asal kata serapan, kata serapan terbanyak berasal dari bahasa Arab yaitu sejumlah 61 kata; (2) ada lima bentuk kata serapan bahasa Sunda, jumlah data terbanyak adalah bentuk kata dasar (63,81%); (3) proses pembentukan kata pada kata serapan bahasa Sunda terdapat 12 proses penyerapan, kebanyakan dari data yang telah ditemukan mengalami proses adaptasi sebanyak 32 data; (4) ditemukan 41 pola penulisan kata serapan, delapan pola memiliki kesamaan dengan pola yang terdapat dalam bahasa Indonesia, delapan pola lainnya memiliki pola yang berbeda dalam penulisan fonem kata serapan, sedangkan 29 pola lain merupakan pola baru yang ditemukan dalam proses penyerapan; dan (5) perbandingan makna kata serapan bahasa Sunda dan makna pada kata asal ditemukan lima pola yang berbeda. AbstractThis research is motivated by the assumption that all Sundanese vocabularies used by speakers in everyday communication are the original language. However, some of the vocabularies are borrowing words of other languages. The purpose of this study is to describe the Sundanese borrowing words. The method used in this research is descriptive method, and documentation technique is used as data collecting technique. The data source is Manglé magazine number 2517 which was published in March 2015. Data processing used direct element analysis technique with etymology, morphology and graphology approach. The results of this study found five things, i.e. (1) there are 12 original borrowing words, the borrowing words come from the Arabic word are 61 words; (2) there are five forms of Sundanese borrowing word, the largest amount of data is root word (63,81%); (3) the process of word formation in the Sundanese borrowing words consisted of 12 borrowing processes, most of the data found that have adaptation process are 32 data; (4) there are 41 borrowing word writing patterns, eight patterns have similarities to the patterns contained in the Indonesia language, eight other patterns have different patterns in the writing of phonemes of the borrowing words, whereas 29 patterns are new patterns found in the borrowing process; and (5) the comparison between Sundanese borrowing word meaning and the meanings in the original word found five different patterns.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur wawacan Mahabarata dan nilai etnopedagogik yang terdapat di dalamnya. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku Wawacan Mahabarata karya R. Memed Sastrahadiprawira dkk. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi pustaka. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan teknik analisis unsur langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa struktur formal Wawacan Mahabarata meliputi guru gatra, guru wilangan, guru lagu, watak pupuh, dan sasmita pupuh. Struktur naratif Wawacan Mahabarata memiliki tema sosial, ada 162 tokoh, latar cerita (tempat, waktu, suasana), dan alur maju. Nilai etnopedagogik dalam cerita ini tergambar dari moral kemanusiaan, yakni moral manusia terhadap Tuhan, moral manusia kepada diri pribadi, moral manusia kepada manusia lain, moral manusia kepada alam, moral manusia kepada waktu, dan moral manusia dalam mencapai kepuasan lahir batin.ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the structure of Wawacan Mahabharata and its ethnopedagogic values. The data source of this study data is the book Wawacan Mahabharata of R. Memed Sastrahadiprawira et al. This study used descriptive method. Data collected through literature study techniques. The collected data is processed by direct element analysis technique. Based on the research results, it is found that the formal structure of Wawacan Mahabharata includes guru gatra, guru wilangan, guru lagu, watak pupuh, and sasmita pupuh. The narrative structure of Wawacan Mahabharata has a social theme. There are 162 characters, story background (place, time, atmosphere), and forward sequel. The ethnopedagogic value in this story is depicted from the moral of humanity, the moral of human to God, the moral of human to themself, the moral of human to other human beings, the moral of human to nature, the moral of human to time, and the moral of human in achieving physical and mental satisfaction.

The research aims to analyze and describe exocentric phrase that include the form, stucture, and semantics (the relation between grammatical elements) that contained in the novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. In this study used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Technique used in collecting data is a literature study. The data analysis technique used in this study is direct elemental analysis techniques. The data source used in this study is Novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. The results of this research have 1133 phrase with 1658 frekuesi and describe three things, (1) exocentric phrase divided into two types of phrase, direktif phrase and relative phrase, (2) stucture of exocentric phrase have four general stucture and eleven substucture, and (3) semantics (the  relation between grammatical elements) have twelve relation gramatical of direktif phrase and two relation gramatical of relative phrase in the Kembang novel Kembang Petingan by Holisoh ME. Based on research can be concluded phrase exocentric in Kembang Kembang Petingan novel by Holisoh M.E can be examined in aspects form, stucture, and relation grammatical elements. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan frasa eksosentrik yang meliputi bentuk, struktur, dan semantik (hubungan antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdapat dalam novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah tehnik studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis unsur langsung. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 1133 frasa eksosentrik dengan frekuensi 1658 kali, lalu mendeskripsikan tiga hal yaitu (1) bentuk frasa eksosentik yang terdiri atas data 2 jenis frasa yaitu frasa direktif dan relatif, (2) struktur frasa eksosentrik yang memiliki 4 pola utama dan 11 subpola, dan (3) semantik (hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdiri atas 12 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa direktif dan 2 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa relatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa frasa eksosentrik mempunyai bentuk, struktur, dan hubungan gramatikal antarunsurnya yang berkaitan dengan kajian struktur dan semantik.

Spelling writing error often occurs in an essay. The spelling error is found in nonfiction essays of the V grade students. This research purpose is to describe the error in spelling writing in nonfiction essays of V grade students in SD Negeri 1 Kadipiro, Kasihan Bantul. The research is a content analysis research using a qualitative approach. The data source of this research is Indonesian nonfiction essays. Data collecting technique used was reading and by note-taking. The instrument of the research is the mechanical analysis sheet. Validity used in this research is semantic validity. Reliability of this research is stability and reproducibility. Analysis unit in this research covers letters usage, writings words, use of punctuation, and uptake words writings element. The data analysis technique used consists of data collection, sample determination, recording/noting, reduction, and drawing a conclusion. The research finding shows that there are writing errors in student’s nonfiction essay, such as letter usage (54,47%), word writing errors (25%), error in using punctuation (18,16%), and error in writing uptake words (2,37%). Factors that cause errors in writing include limited time in learning to write, lack of mastery in spelling rules, and lack of accuracy in writing.

The purpose of this research is to explain and describe the form of id, ego, and superego in the main character in the Mata di Tanah Melus novel by Okky Madasari. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data source in this study was a document in the form of Mata di Tanah Melus novel by Okky Madasari, which was published by Gramedia Pustaka in 2018. The data used in this study were dialogues in the novel. The data analysis technique used in this study was the analysis of documents to find the form of id, ego, and superego in the novel. The results of this study indicate that there were forms of id, ego, and superego in Okky Madasari's Mata di Tanah Melus novel which were reflected by the main character. The forms of id, ego, and superego were found based on Sigmund Freud's personality theory. Through the form of id, ego, and superego, it can be seen how the personality of the main character in the Mata di Tanah Melus novel by Okky Madasari.

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesulitan belajar yang dialami peserta didik dan strategi guru dalam menghadapi peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan belajar di SD Negeri 80/I Muara Bulian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling. Sumber data utama pada penelitian ini adalah guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan belajar, yaitu kesulitan belajar membaca, kesulitan belajar menulis, dan kesulitan belajar berhitung. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, guru harus memilih strategi, pendekatan, metode, dan teknik belajar mengajar yang dianggap tepat dan efektif sehingga dapat dijadikan pedoman oleh guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran.Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the types of learning difficulties faced by the students and the teachers’ strategies to overcome the students’ learning difficulties in SD Negeri 80/I Muara Bulian. The research method used was qualitative descriptive method along with the phenomenological research type. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The main data source in this study was the teacher. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique used was the theory of Miles and Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicated that there were several students faced learning difficulties including reading, writing, and counting difficulties. To solve those problems, the teachers should determine approppriate strategies, approaches, methods, and techniques as the teachers’ guide of teaching and learning process.

The purpose of this study was to describe the psychological conflicts contained in the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W. The research method used is descriptive method. The data source in the study was the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W. consisting of 232 pages, a book thickness of 20 cm, published in 2018 by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama. The collection technique uses literature study techniques, reading techniques, and note taking techniques. While the data analysis technique used content analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it shows that the psychological conflicts built in the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W are in the form of internal conflict and external conflict. Internal conflict, namely the main character Arini felt a raging feeling shortly after the feeling of happiness when she saw the baby she had given birth to. Then, the external conflict, namely the character Arini knows a reality that Helmi said, such as a slap for Arini, a child who he thought had died was still alive and Helmi who took care of him.

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe two things. First describes the feature of text fable students of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Second, describe the spelling in the text fable the text of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research Data is the use of tasks in the text Fable class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The data source in this study is fable text written in grade VII students. D SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang numbering 30 texts. Data is collected through documentation study methods or document utilization. The data analysis technique is done by five procedures. First, identify common elements of data. Secondly, it identifies the data based on the theory of reference. The identification of the data is done by creating the fable text and spelling characteristics identification format. Third, analyzing the data. Fourth, interpret the data that has been analyzed. The Japanese language has a variety of respectful languages that are used in Japanese social ethics. This variety of respectful language is known as keigo. Keigo is a speech level that functions to express respect for the speech partner. The expression to express respect is not only used to fellow human beings, but also Allah as the Creator. The purpose of this research was to determine the types of sonkeigo and kenjougo in the Japanese translation of the Qur'an, to describe the word-formation process and the grammatical meaning. This research is qualitative research by applying a qualitative descriptive method. The method of collecting data using a listening method with the writing technique. The data source in this research is the Japanese translation of the Qur'an surah Maryam chapter 4 to 32. In the data source, 14 data were found which is divided into 10 sonkeigo data and 4 kenjougo data. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the sonkeigo word-formation process used the ~rareru pattern with 7 data, the o~ni naru pattern with 1 data, and the o~kudasai pattern with 2 data. The kenjougo word-formation process used a special form of verb patterns with 3 data and an o~suru pattern with 1 data. The sonkeigo speech level is used in the context of Allah's actions, Allah's decree to Zakaria, Maryam, and Isa. The kenjougo speech level is used in the context of Zakaria's pray to Allah and Allah's decree to Maryam which was conveyed through Jibril.

This study aims to describe the sentence structure and choice of words in foreign students' essays on the Indonesian language proficiency test. This research is qualitative with descriptive method. The data source of this research is the essay of foreign students who took the Indonesian language proficiency test. The research data are Indonesian words and sentences contained in the student essays. The data analysis technique was carried out through the steps, namely (a) data identification, (b) data classification, and (c) data interpretation. The results showed that foreign students were able to write simple sentences in Indonesian, but had difficulty understanding the affix process.
