Children with special needs are children who have different characteristics and limitations in ability. This child with special needs is called Tunagrahita. Developmental impairment is classified into three categories namely mild, moderate and severe. This study aims to help the process of identifying the characteristics of mental retardation experienced by children. This study uses the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method to identify children with special needs using the data of the mentally disabled children in SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Similarity results were 51.92% for moderate developmental impairment, 17.5% for mild developmental impairment and 8% for severe developmental impairment. Calculations are performed using Visual Basic Net 2010.

Anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) merupakan anak yang tumbuh dan berkembang dengan berbagai perbedaan dengan anak-anak pada umumnya. Istilah anak berkebutuhan khusus tidak merujuk pada sebutan untuk anak dengan kecacatan, namun merujuk pada layanan khusus yang diperlukan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Terdapat berbagai jenis kategori dalam lingkup istilah anak berkebutuhan khusus. Dalam konteks pendidikan khusus di Indonesia anak berkebutuhan khusus di kategorikan dengan istilah anak tunanetra, anak tunarungu, anak tunagrahita, anak tunadaksa, anak tunalaras, dan anak cerdas dan bakat istimewa. Setiap anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda antara satu dengan yang lain. Lebih daripada itu, setiap anak berkebutuhan khusus juga memerlukan layanan khusus yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan dan karakteristik mereka. Perlu dilaksanakan kegiatan identifikasi dan asesmen untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kebutuhan mereka. Hal tersebut dianggap penting guna mendapatkan layanan yang tepat sesuai dengan karakteristik, kebutuhan dan kemampuan. Children with special needs (ABK) are children who grow and develop with various differences from children in general. The term children with special needs does not refer to children with disabilities, but instead refers to special services needed by children with special needs. There are various types of categories within the scope of the term children with special needs. In the context of special education in Indonesia, children with special needs are categorized by the terms blind children, deaf children, mentally retarded children, disabled children, children with disabilities, and intelligent children and special talents. Every child with special needs has different characteristics from one another. More than that, every child with special needs also requires special services that are tailored to their abilities and characteristics. It is necessary to carry out identification and assessment activities to determine their characteristics and needs. This is considered important in order to get the right service according to the characteristics, needs and capabilities.

Children with special needs are still considered troublesome children for some people, this child has physical and mental limitations and an abnormal mindset like other children, so this makes them marginalized. Whereas the history of human life actually revelas that many Children with special needs have advantages, works of art produced by children have high values, so it needs support and encouragement from the people closest to be able develop their talents.  Research on children ia focused on creativity and enthusiasm by using qualitative research methods to describe the overall abilities that Children with special needs can realize with detailed descriptions.The research objective is to describe the potential of children through musical drama, in musical drama not only singing but also collaborating dubbing, dancing, music, and acting as well as being holistic, able to show all the abilities of children in on appearance. The results showed taht musical drama is able to make Children with special needs more sensitive to their environment, because the stimulation of the implementation of musical drama exercises results in changes in body movements and emotions of children while learning musical drama is very influential on creativity and antusiasm anak berkebutuhan khusus.

The activities of the PMM are a form of Community Service at Padjadjaran University. For 2019, the proposing team has designed an activity themed Empowerment and Education for Parents of Children with Special Needs for People with Autism in Garut Regency Area by involving two related communities. First, APPAI (Association of Indonesian Autism Practitioners and Observers), a combination of various elements of the community who have concern and desire to contribute to the protection and handling of children with special needs for autism in Indonesia. The second, Portadin (Parents Association of Indonesian Disabled Children) Garut DPD is a community that accommodates ABK parents with autism in Garut. From the results of preliminary observations and the interaction of the team with the community of parents of children with special needs, it was found that there were problems in the form of knowledge and motivation constraints of parents in facing the special conditions of their children. Through PKM activities, data collection, counseling and dialogue with the target audience above are conducted, guided by experts, as a form of empowerment and education. This activity is problem solving, comprehensive, meaningful, complete, and sustainable. The phenomenological qualitative method was chosen because it is a thinking view that emphasizes the focus on subjective experiences (data revealed based on the subject's point of view) of humans and world interpretations. The steps of the activity include: preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages.

ABSTRACTObjective: to know the feelings and difficulties faced by mothers of children with special needs. Method: it is study descriptive, with a qualitative approach. Data collection was through semi-structured interview, with signature of the terms of consent, carried between august and september 2010, with 11 mothers of children with special needs, as approved by the Ethics in Research Fátima, with opinion 015/10. The analysis followed the phases presented by Bardin. Results: from the analysis of information were chosen thematic categories: feelings of mothers of children with special needs; and difficulties faced by mothers. Conclusion: the study allowed to give visibility to the feelings and difficulties that mothers of children with special needs experience. Facing the reality of losing her son was conceived, the woman should be constantly guided and encouraged to face their fears and problems to allow your child to improve quality of life and social inclusion. Resultados: a partir da análise das informações foram elencadas as categorias temáticas: sentimentos das mães de crianças com necessidades especiais; e dificuldades enfrentadas pelas mães. Resultados: a partir del análisis de la información fueron elegidos categorías temáticas: sentimientos de las madres de los niños con necesidades especiales; y dificultades que enfrentan las madres. Conclusión: el estudio permitió dar visibilidad a los sentimientos y las dificultades que las madres de niños con necesidades especiales sufren. Frente a la realidad de perder a su hijo fue concebido, las mujeres deben ser guiadas y alentadas a enfrentar sus miedos y problemas para permitir la calidad a su hijo mejor de la vida y la inclusión social. Special Needs Children (ABK) are individuals who have characteristics that are different from other individuals in the normal view of society in general. More specifcally, children with special needs show lower intellectual or emotional characteristics or higher than normal anal peers or are outside the normal standards that apply in society. So that it has diffculty in achieving success both in terms of social personal, and educational activities. especially what they have makes children with special needs need special education and services to optimize their inner potential. The impact of negative developments raises the risk of increasing the likelihood of the emergence of diffculties in adjustment to disabled children so that supporting factors are needed to adjust. Environment as an important factor to adjust. The attitude of parents, family, peers, school friends, and the general public as supporters in adjusting to their environment.

      Christian education is important in the family and school environment. There is no exception for schools that accept students / students with special needs. However, it should be noted that the teaching and learning process of Christian education often has problems, especially in public schools. Problems that arise are mainly caused by unpleasant learning conditions, which are caused by not having a permanent learning place. Always moving around, and the place is sometimes not suitable for students to study, such as in a warehouse, in rooms that have never been used, near bathrooms that are not insulated, in the teacher's room, in the library, etc. thus experiencing obstacles in the teaching and learning process. This of course does not meet the maximum yield target. There are also internal barriers, namely from the students themselves. one of them is disabled children, both physically and mentally. The learning process of disabled children cannot run smoothly due to their disability. Based on the hypothesis test there is a relationship and influence of "Christian Religious Education (PAK) with Children with Special Needs (ABK) in Understanding the Word of God." From thetable ANOVA, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of Christian Religious Education (PAK) with Children with Special Needs (ABK) in Understanding the Word of God.
