pedagogical, psychological factors, which influence on the process of values formation and development. It has been figured out the definition of “value”, which is usually considered as importance, significance or usefulness for a personality, society or ethnic group. It has been stated that values formation for a person happens in hard conditions in comparison with social norms and values. Such factor causes contradiction and, perhaps, strong and notable conflicts. In modern students youth environment, high common to all mankind values are diminished and lost; they are namely, kindness, honour, humanity, sincerity, justice, and compassion for other people. Sometimes students youth prefers not spiritual moments of human-being, but the values of material welfare forgetting that the best and most important in life, such as love, smile, family, happiness, can be obtained free of charge. It has been singled out the mental manifestations of spirituality, among which there are development, religiosity, creativity, search, and love. It has been presented here the sociological researches of value orientations among students’ youth of the last decade. These researches convince that the certain personality type has been forming in the consciousness of modern youth. This type is common for the Western society that is a person who first of all values themselves and thinks that their activity, success in life and all of this depend on them. It has been studied that, from a psychological point of view, value orientations are a special meaningful value and sense dimension, which characterizes the subject as a personality. It has been revealed that mass media strongly influences the formation of youth value orientations, considering that mass media occupies the leading positions in the system of communications of the individual in the modern society. According to the conducted study of values and views of young people, the main priorities in life, for most of them, are family happiness and career. Of the lower priority among youth preferences there are the opportunity to be free and independent in their decisions and actions and to be able to realize their talents and abilities. Young people living in urban areas, compared to rural youth, say mostly about their family-oriented happiness, their intentions to make a career and to be able to realize their talents and abilities. As a result of the study, it has been found out that the values of modern youth are significantly influenced by the environment, in which the individual resides and the place of residence. This all defines his opportunities and, accordingly, values orientations.

The present article considers the correlation of two key categories of human economic behavior: needs and values. As the socio-cultural attitudes of modern society change, values become the main reference point of the individual, and the ways the person chooses to realize his or her needs characterize the formation of value orientations and stereotypes of human behavior. From the point of view of development of various consumption models, the axiological attitude to goods and services is undergoing a transformation. The vector of transformation depends on how this process is reflected by human consciousness. The way one chooses to satisfy his or her needs depends on the prevailing value stereotypes in one’s economic behavior. The formation of needs and their assessment are determined by the economic reality and the socio-cultural environment. A person has the right to determine the trajectory of their economic behavior, as long as it is legal and conscious, both in the technological and economic sense. From the point of view of the subject of activity and consumption, a person is a reflection of social identity, due to the socio-cultural environment, limited by a certain awareness and understanding of the quality of life. The author focuses on the fact that certain negative socio-cultural practices caused by inefficient and problematic activities of state institutions result increase irresponsible behavior, legal nihilism, unjustified tolerance and / or zero tolerance, as well as the transformation of value stereotypes.

Interest in creativity as a subject of research has been growing exponentially since the second half of the 20th century in all areas of human history. A wide range of both domestic and foreign studies allows authors to assert that creativity is a personality trait, inherent to one degree or another. Whereas the development of such trait becomes an urgent necessity in the new reality. The entire evolutionary process of the social development illustrates its dependence on personal and collective creativity. The aim of this research is to study the phenomenon of creativity through the perspective of axiology, i.e. the science of values. Axiology allows us to consider the realities of the modern world from the perspective of not only external factors, circumstances and situations, but also of deep value foundations. Creativity has been studied quite deeply from the point of view of psychology: the special characteristics of a creative person, stages of the creative process, the relationship between creative and critical thinking, creativity and intelligence. Some psychologists emphasize motivation, creative skills, interdisciplinary knowledge, and the creative environment as the main components that contribute to the development of creativity. The authors of the article argue that values and value orientations towards cognition, creativity, self-realization and self-expression are the drivers of creativity. In a broad sense, values as a matrix of culture determine the attitude of society to creativity, to the development of creativity of the individual and the creative class, and to how economically successful a given society will be. Since innovation and entrepreneurship are embodied creativity. Thus, the study of creativity from the perspective of axiology combines the need for a deep study of this phenomenon and the subjective significance of creativity in the context of new realities

Abstract The life quality improvement issue is a problem of national and international interest. This acquires total different values when it is to refer to a series of disadvantaged categories, that is the persons with locomotor disabilities. It is an inevitable social responsibility to create equal opportunities for disabled people, to prevent any intentional or unintentional discrimination that they face and apply positive discrimination if necessary to improve their living standards and to let them have an equal share from social development as productive individuals of society. A disability is any kind of restriction or inability to accomplish a certain activity, which belongs to the interval considered as “normal” for a human being. Disabilities are characterized by deficiencies or excesses in the activity or behaviour that is normally expected from a person; they can be temporary or permanent, reversible or irreversible, progressive or regressive. The physical disabilities that require the use of wheelchairs imply the manufacturing of special clothing products that meet certain needs at a functional and/or therapeutic level. The study presents the main aspects involved in designing and developing textile products for this category of users. Therefore, the apparel that is specially designed for persons with disabilities has to: allow more freedom and independence when is being worn, correspond to the aesthetic point of view, offer psychological benefits and help to socially integrate the individual who wears it. In addition, clothes should not hinder the individual’s mobility and must allow the use of the chest and of the superior limbs to the maximum, they must be durable, have a low level of electrostatic charge, be absorbent and comfortable, present the so-called “rehabilitation functions”, and last but not least, be beneficial for the wearer both from a physical and psychological point of view.

The purpose of the study presented in the article is a theoretical analysis of socio-political and civic activity of young people in the context of processes of individualization and massification as contradictory but interdependent trends in the development of modern society. The relevance of the study is supported by the need for scientific understanding of conditions under which the formation of social and political subjectivity of young people and their choice of these types of activity take place. We presented data of the theoretical analysis of the “social activity” concept with a particular focus on its psychological structure, namely on the cognitive, emotional, motivational, reflexive, volitional and behavioral (activity) components. We substantively described determinants of the socio-political and civic activity of young people, to which we attributed internal psychological (consciousness and self-awareness of the individual, interests and motivation) and external socio-political factors (internal and external political, socio-cultural, informational and communicative context of life). It is shown that the study of modern young people’s activity presupposes inclusion of the subject field of the parameters of personal and social responsibility and the conscious choice of an individual between passionarity and desubjectivity into the scientific analysis. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be used as a tool for development of socially active young people who are focused on constructive interaction with the state, business, and society as a whole.

The article explores the peculiarities of the relationship of motivational and demand sphere with the field of perception of the concept of “coronavirus”, “quarantine”, “self-isolation” in modern society. Their interrelations influence both the formation of a holistic personality and the formation of public opinion. The study is based on the notion that life values are a set of different inherently social attitudes, which under the influence of external social forms of interaction and intrapersonal characteristics are subject to constant modification, which is reflected in the system of perception, as the world as a whole, and in particular at the conceptual, sense-making level. Thus, studying the peculiarities of the relationship of personal value orientations with the field of perception of a particular concept, we can build a dynamic scheme of mutually influential vectors of values, orientations, life priorities, taking into account the specific conceptual perception of the concept under study. The study revealed that the respondents are more characterized by the prevalence of focus on the material situation, spiritual satisfaction, as well as achievement and self-development. These values are manifested in the spheres of professional life, education and family relations. In the field of perception of the highlighted concepts there is a number of significant differences, so the concept of “coronavirus” has a negative value assessment while high subjective importance in the individual personal plan for the person. The concepts of “self-isolation” and “quarantine” are perceived positively in terms of value, while in the subjective, personal plan they carry a negative dynamic for the individual. Thus, the study confirmed that depending on the structure of basic needs, value priorities, which the person holds, we can assume what attitude he will have to the studied concepts, what meaning he will fill them.

The relevance of the study is caused by the need for moral and patriotic education of students, who, in the process of revising the value orientations and ideological foundations characteristic of modern society, at the time of active socialization, experience a certain confusion and spiritual and moral uncertainty. In the modern world, under the influence of global ideological and cultural transformations, young people, as more amenable to the slogan of “bread and circuses”, are alienated from the traditional values of humanism, patriotism, citizenship, and the history of their people, becoming “Ivans who do not remember their kinship”. In these conditions, the appeal to the heroic pages of their people, acquaintance with the biographies of the participants of the Great Patriotic War-students and teachers of the North Ossetian State University named after K. L. Khetagurov, should be recognized as an effective form of moral and patriotic education of student youth. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the methods, forms and technologies of spiritual, moral, patriotic and multicultural education of students based on the material of the book by A. A. Magometov “They fought for the Motherland». The methodological basis of the research consists of the theories and practices of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of students, axiological and activity approaches that consider the dominant values of the individual as the activity basis of its socialization, cultural approach that combines the cultures of different peoples into a single cultural palette, the theory of internal and basic culture of the individual and the concept of the development of multicultural education. The research methods used are theoretical (study, comparison and analysis), empirical: observation, study of the experience of patriotic education, psychological diagnosis, systematization of the results obtained.

Some forty years ago, Dr. Bruce Thomson, the first resident surgeon to this prison, contributed to the medical journals a series of observations upon over 5,000 prisoners. He dealt chiefly with the more obvious physical defects which, to his thinking, supported the theory of the existence of the instinctive criminal, and though his observations were somewhat generalised, he was rightly regarded as a pioneer in the science of criminal anthropology. He also drew attention to the prevalence of weak-mindedness among juvenile prisoners, and stated that as much as 12 per cent. of all prisoners required special observation soon after admission because of mental defect. There is little doubt that in his time the old method that consigned all forms of disordered conduct to prison still persisted, and many changes have since taken place that would tend to diminish his percentage. Prison discipline is still, in spite of its mildness, largely credited with bringing into prominence many symptoms that are put down to mental defect. It would be reasonable to look for a considerable reduction in the numbers of weak-minded persons in prisons during a period when prison administration can conscientiously take to its credit the fruits of a progressive spirit that is not, however, readily granted to it by many whose reforming enthusiasm takes no thought of the spade-work that has preceded their own awakening. The psychological point of view is prominent in the most recent methods of dealing with the criminal. Preventive detention for the habitual, probation for the first offender, Borstal training for the juvenile delinquent, etc., all recognise the mental aspect of the offender as fully as any system that can be evolved by the mental pathologist. That the mental abnormality of the habitual major offender is a more complex affair in its origin and treatment than is insanity will, I am sure, be amply verified by the future experience of the preventive detention institutions, where grave disorder can only result if the treatment views too much in this light of irresponsibility the vicious tendencies of the inmates. From whatever point of view we look upon the habitual and professional criminal, it is certain that many of this type may be safely left to the law which is rightly concerned with the protection of the public, and continually progresses in an endeavour to fit the punishment to the individual.

The article analyzes how important traditions and value orientations are as influencing factors in the work carried out on the basis of the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program. Guided by the theoretical foundations of renewal, the authors focused on the originality of renewal in the conditions of modern Kazakhstan and describe the impact of various historical changes of the last century on the consciousness of modern society. It is important that the traditions and values which are important in the course of spiritual modernization were formed in accordance with the national consciousness and proceeded from the sources of spirituality of the Kazakh people of the past epochs. Only guided by such a position, Kazakh society can give birth to systemic cultural values, combining genuine renewal with spiritual revival. It is important to characterize the possibility of renewal of national values from the cultural and anthropological point of view and consider the importance of the place of historical sources and national literary relics in their socio-philosophical substantiation. At the same time, the focus on the issues of implementation of the state programme, its beneficial impact and the importance of considering national values in the modernization of the cultural sphere increases the value of scientific concepts related to spiritual modernization.
