The article presents the research on personal qualities and characteristics of rescuers manifesting signs of professional estrangement. In extreme and extraordinary conditions, in particular, during fires and natural disasters, the requirements for certain personal characteristics of rescuers are significantly increased. That is, professional activity in special conditions significantly affects such professionals: on the one hand, personal development is promoted, and on the other hand, personal qualities can be deformed, therefore, it is necessary to determine specialists whose psychological characteristics do not corresponds the requirements of their work, or to re-allocate them for workplaces with taking into account their individual psychological peculiarities. The obtained results suggest that personal qualities of rescuers identifying themselves with their profession and rescuers with signs of professional estrangement are significantly different. Professionals with a high level of professional identification are characterized as decent and courteous in relations at work and out-of-work. They usually respond adequately to criticism or remarks, and behave on the base of their own emotions and ambitions at conflict situations. Specialists manifesting professional estrangement are often characterized as depressed individuals, dissatisfied with their position or the state of affairs at their work; so they often show ineffectiveness, indecision, and inconsistency in their actions during assignment implementations. Such specialists are characterized by their colleagues as conflict, irresponsible, stubborn and undisciplined people. They can respond inadequately on criticisms or comments. In general, the professional work for them is too difficult and leads to excessive mental stress, rapid fatigue, a feeling of impotence and exhaustion.

On the basis of theoretical analysis of the scientific psychological literature, the article defines the phenomenon of the boundary in determining the innovative potential of the personality, The author identifies that the qualitative originality of the boundary phenomenon demonstration in determining a high level of the innovative potential of the personality is associated with such individual psychological characteristics as value orientations, creativity, temporary competence, desire for self-actualization, need for cognition, spontaneity. The single direct link to synergy is made at the low level of IPP. The «boundary» allocation at the high and low levels of IPP allows to differentiate the groups of relationships of the certain personal qualities and indicators of the personal innovative potential. By characterizing the existence of the close statistically significant links between the individual and personal characteristics of respondents with an integral indicator of the innovative potential of the personality, it is made possible to compile a psychological portrait of the innovator. The art of defining the «boundary» becomes actual by establishing the interrelationships of these individual psychological characteristics with the features of the manifestation of the innovative potential of the personality.

The subject of this contribution is the present state of affairs regarding religious education and the teaching of worldviews (Dutch: ‘levensbeschouwing’) on the one hand and the quality of the textbooks used on the other. The approach is that of a teacher in secondary education. The author starts by giving a brief outline of the general situation of religious education in the Netherlands. Then he deals with the significance of religious learning for the personal development of young people and asks how the subject should be taught. If it is to contribute to social cohesion and civic education it will have to aim at the development of a personal identity. These aims imply that both teachers and textbooks should meet certain standards with regard to didactics and professionalism. The author argues that due to recent developments, such as the so-called ‘new learning’, religious education and world view education can potentially fulfil a pivotal role for all ongoing learning processes in the schools.

In the conditions of unstable political, economic and social development of society the problem of quality of life, well-being, satisfaction of each citizen of the country acquires special importance. Research has shown that happiness is determined by various factors (age, marital, social and financial status, physiological status, social relations, personal characteristics), its level changes throughout life and can be corrected by certain psychological methods of influence. The purpose of our study was to study the state of development of the problem of happiness and study the content of the ideas of young people about happiness, their characteristics depending on gender and professional orientation. In order to study the peculiarities of the young generation's ideas about happiness, we studied 250 third-year students aged 20 to 22 years of various specialties. The researched questionnaire was asked to answer the questions, the analysis of which helped to make generalized conclusions about their ideas about happiness. The most of students rate their level of happiness as high or medium. But their level of happiness is much higher than their level of success, which can lead to a contradiction between the desire for success and happiness. This state of affairs requires correction of the content of ideas about happiness in adolescence by providing educational information about awareness of success as a process of self-realization and a component of happiness, the desire for integrated satisfaction of both material and spiritual needs for full personal development.

Particular attention is paid to such important qualities of entrepreneurs as leadership, style of behavior, quality of mind, organizational and administrative skills and attitudes towards oneself, to the team and professional activities. The psychological portrait of an entrepreneur highlights professional qualities that distinguish him from other professionals. This is a creative economic activity, taking risks, striving for self-realization, sociability, and stress resistance. At the same time, there are a number of differences that make it possible to distinguish the characteristics of a domestic Ukrainian entrepreneur: insufficient assessment of the entrepreneur's significance in modern society, weak legal protection and poor assessment of the society. All this reduces interest in entrepreneurship in society, especially in small and medium businesses. The development of a psychological portrait of a domestic entrepreneur contributes to the evaluation of the activities of a Ukrainian entrepreneur and promotes his personal development.
