A Study of the Application of Computer Translation Technology in the Process of English Teaching

Objectives: With the development of Internet and computer technology, auxiliary teaching has been widely used in English teaching. Methods: Based on this, this paper studied English teaching based on the computer corpus. First, we designed and built the corpus based on the outline of the current English Teaching in China. Results: Secondly, the diagnosis algorithm was designed according to the needs of auxiliary teaching. And the implementation steps were expounded. Finally, we applied the algorithm designed in this paper to the evaluation of English composition. Conclusion: Through the test of the algorithm, the difference range between the test data and the actual data was acceptable. The algorithm designed in this paper was effective, and it could be further promoted in English teaching.

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (DSME), StatoilHydro and DNV established a common project to investigate the reason for the difference between calculated fatigue lives and the in-service experience and to assess the fatigue capacity of stiffener web connections subjected mainly to web frame shear stresses. The main objective of the work was to establish fatigue test data and perform numerical analysis of collar plate connections in order to provide improved confidence in analysis methodology for fatigue life assessment. Large scale fatigue tests of different types of connections were carried out to obtain fatigue test data of collar plate connections. Finite element analyses were carried out for comparison with fatigue test data and with measured stresses on the test model. Based on this work recommendations on fatigue design analysis of connections between stiffeners and web frames have been derived. The background for this is presented in this paper.

The purpose of college English teaching is to improve students' English ability in comprehensive hearing, speech, reading, writing and other aspects, and the key measure to improve language skills is to create a good English interaction circumstances for students. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology and continuous development of teaching philosophy, the use of visual simulation technology to promote the issue of college English teaching gradually come into the people’s horizon. Visual simulation uses high-end computer technology to form an virtual environment integrated with the visual sense, auditory sense and tactile sense, which is widely used in research because of its good interaction and environment immersion. This article will analyze the theoretical basis of visual simulation technology in college English teaching, conduct a detailed analysis of its application value and explore the visual simulation technology application foreground in college English teaching.

<p>Peramalan pencemaran udara yang  akurat  diperlukan untuk mengurangi dampak pencemaran udara. Peramalan yang belum akurat akan berdampak kurang efektifnya tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi dampak pencemaran udara. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah pendekatan yang dapat mengetahui keakuratan plot data hasil peramalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan melakukan peramalan pencemaran udara berdasarkan parameter PM<sub>10</sub>, NO<sub>2</sub>, CO, SO<sub>2</sub>, dan O<sub>3</sub>dengan metode DSARIMA. Data dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 8.760 data yang berasal dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil peramalan selama 168 jam kadar parameter PM<sub>10</sub>, NO<sub>2</sub>, SO<sub>2</sub> dan O<sub>3</sub> cenderung  menurun. Hasil peramalan selama 168 jam dengan menggunakan DSARIMA memberikan hasil peramalan yang nilainya mendekati data aktual terbukti dari polanya yang sesuai atau mirip dengan grafik plot data aktual dengan hasil ramalan. Dengan pendekatan PEB, selisih antara data aktual dan data ramalan kecil dan plot grafik PEB mengikuti plot grafik di data aktual, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model sudah sesuai. Hasil akurasi terbaik yang dihasilkan adalah model DSARIMA dengan RMSE terkecil 0,59 didapatkan dari parameter CO yaitu ARIMA(0,1,[1,2,3])(0,1,1)<sup>24</sup>(0,1,1)<sup>168</sup>.</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Judul2"><em>Accurate air pollution forecasting is needed to reduce the impact of air pollution. Inaccurate forecasting will result in less effective actions taken to anticipate the impact of air pollution. So we need an approach that can determine the accuracy of the forecast data plot. This research was conducted with the aim of forecasting air pollution based on the PM<sub>10</sub>, NO<sub>2</sub>, CO, <sub>SO2</sub>, and O<sub>3</sub> parameters using the DSARIMA method. The data in this study were 8.760 data from the Surabaya City Environmental Service. Based on the results of forecasting for 168 hours, the levels of PM<sub>10</sub>, NO<sub>2, </sub>SO<sub>2</sub>, and O<sub>3</sub> parameters tend to decrease. Forecasting results for 168 hours using DSARIMA provide forecasting results whose values are close to the actual data as evidenced by the pattern that matches or is similar to the actual data plot graph with the forecast results. With the PEB approach, the difference between the actual data and the forecast data is small and the PEB graph plot follows the graph plot in the actual data, so it can be said that the model is appropriate. The best accuracy result is DSARIMA with the smallest RMSE 0,59 obtained from the CO parameter, namely </em>ARIMA(0,1,[1,2,3])(0,1,1)<sup>24</sup>(0,1,1)<sup>168</sup>.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

Galungan is Hindu religious holy day in celebrating the triumph of dharma over adharma. In Galungan preparation, the mothers, housewives and working mothers, are the one who in charge to prepare all banten that needed on Galungan. Preparing Galungan’s banten was not an easy task because skill, knowledge and time are needed to prepare all the banten, that why this activity had potential to make stress among housewives and working mothers. This study aimed to discover the difference Galungan preparation’s stress between Hindus housewives and working mothers in Denpasar   Sampling technique used in this research was simple random samplings that were 100 subjects consisting of 52 working and mothers and 48 housewives that lived in Denpasar area, that filled the scale of Galungan Preparation’s Stress that was made by stress aspect from pyshic, emotional, and concentration by Dr. Robert J. an Amberg, Cary Cooper, Alison Straw and Braham. From available 60 items, 55 items was declared dan 5 items fall with reliability value 0,974,. Method of analyzing data used in this research is the analysis of parametric t-test independet group. Results from test data analysis is that there is a significant value of p= 0.000 which indicates a significant stress difference between both group of Hindus housewives and working mothers, which was working mothers have more stress level than housewives when working on Galungan’s preparation.   Keywords : Galungan, Stress, Working Mothers, Housewives

The use of hydraulic couplings in practically all fields of engineering has increased rapidly during the last few years. The paper traces the history of the Vulcan-Sinclair hydraulic coupling, which is of the turbo or hydro-kinetic type, from the days of its inception up to the present time, and gives details of other designs of the displacement or hydro-static type that have been developed, and the principles upon which they operate. The main advantages of the turbo design are enumerated and considerable test data are given, with particular reference to the Vulcan coupling, which, in theory, is the forerunner of the Vulcan-Sinclair designs. Advantage is taken to explain the difference between fluid couplings and torque converters, concerning which a good deal of confusion exists. The differences between the various types of Vulcan-Sinclair hydraulic couplings and the improvements that have been effected in design during recent years are described in detail. The paper deals comprehensively with numerous applications of the different types of couplings covering both the industrial and automotive fields. The difficulties, and their cures, which have arisen in connexion with a number of applications are given prominence. A section deals with change-speed gearboxes arranged in conjunction with hydraulic couplings for use in Diesel traction.

Recently, with the development of network and technologies, the traditional teacher-centered mode is gradually losing its main status. Multimedia-assisted foreign language teaching is becoming the most popular way of teaching. At present, computer based multimedia is broadly used in classrooms. Multimedia-aided English teaching can introduce video, figure, and text into teaching practice, and improve English teaching efficiency. Teachers, teaching materials and learners, as the three main elements in English teaching, play an essential part in classroom. Although relevant surveys have been done investigating English classroom under the conventional educational mode, very few people have thought the change of the three elements more specific. Therefore, the paper talks about the difference between the conventional educational model and multimedia-aided teaching method in English classroom. The author takes the teachers and students in Linfen NO.1 senior school as the research object, aiming to study the role and the interrelationship of the three. Through interviews, classroom observation and questionnaire, the thesis concisely summarizes the role and functions of the three elements in Linfen NO.1 senior school. It is a rational analysis and summary of multimedia-assisted English teaching theoretically and practically. Thus it will be helpful for the improvement of English teaching effect.

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan menggiring bola siswa belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dengan memberikan suatu perlakuan yaitu latihan dribble 20 yards square. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen menggiring bola. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data uji pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan dribble 20 yards square memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai t-hitung 8,48 > t-tabel 2,045. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dribble 20 yards square memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menggiring pada siswa ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA Negeri 1 Pagar Dewa Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat.ABSTRACTThe problem in this study is that the ability to dribble students is not optimal. This study aims to determine the difference in influence by giving a treatment that is the exercise of 20 yards square dribble. The type of research used is an experiment with a sample of 30 people. Data collection techniques using dribbling instruments. Data analysis uses influence test data analysis techniques. The results showed that the training of dribble 20 yards square had a significant effect with t-count 8.48> t-table 2.045. The results of this study indicate that the training of dribble 20 yards square has a significant influence on the ability of herding on football extracurricular students of Pagar Dewa 1 State High School, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency.Keywords: dribble 20 yards square, dribble
