This research aims to find out whether by applying a group investigation leraning model can increase student’s motivation to learn mathematic grade X in SMK Dwi Tunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa. The research instruments used were observation and questioner. The observations used are statements of the learning process. Observation consists of observation sheets on the effectiveness of student learning, and observation of student learning motivation.The population this study is Students Class off X SMK Dwi Tunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa, while the sample in this study was a class off X-AP SMK Dwi Tunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa. From the results of the study can be seen an in crease student motivation to learn mathimatics by using a learning model of investigation b 75% at the first meeting and is categorized as effective, while at the second meeting it reaches 80% and is categorized as effective. Thereofere the use of the group investigation learning model is effective in creasing the motivation to learn mathematic in students of SMK Dwi Tunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to the students' motivation and their implications for student achievement Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok. The purpose of this study are: 1) To find a picture of student achievement, the intensity of parental guidance, facilities and students' motivation to learn; 2) To determine the effect intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to student motivation and its implications on learning achievement. The method used is descriptive survey method verification. Data collected through questionnaires. In this study were used as the student population is Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok many as 1556 people. The sample was 318 people. By using a sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Based on the calculation and analysis of data, it can be concluded that: 1) Overview of learning achievement Students medium category, the intensity of parental guidance category is, the infrastructure category is, and student motivation sedang.2 category) there is a positive influence on the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure on the students motivation. 3) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on motivation to learn. 4) There is a positive effect of infrastructure study on motivation to learn. 5) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance, infrastructure and learning motivation on learning achievement. 6) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on learning achievement. 7) There is no positive effect of infrastructure on student achievement. 8) There is no positive effect of learning motivation on student achievement.

Currently, much attention is paid to the development of students ' intellectual abilities. This problem is particularly acute in Universities that provide training in the applied bachelor's degree system. The use of interactive and alternative types of educational activities is proposed, which increases the motivation for learning, stimulates search and research activities. On the example of the chemical block of disciplines, a scheme for building a training course that includes alternative types of classes is proposed. Methods that improve the quality of education are considered; control points that allow you to evaluate the dynamics of learning the discipline.

This quasi – experimental research aims to determinethe effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on students' mathematics achievement, and the effect ofcooperative learning model TPSand NHT on student motivation.Three classes were randomly selected for experiment and control groups, each class consists of 32 students. A questionnaire of 26 items is used to measure motivation test, and a test consisting of nine questions is used for measuring mathematics achievement. T-test was used for data analysis. The findings show that there is significant effect of both cooperative learningTPS model and NHT model onstudent mathematics achievement. However, the effect of  TPS and NHT models on student motivation to learn mathematics is not significant.   Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe NHT terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini melibatkan 3 kelas experimen dan kelas control, masing-masing terdiri dari 32 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes motivasi yang terdiri dari 26 indikator, dan tes matematika yang terdiri dari 9 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, demikian pula penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT juga berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.  Namun tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Di samping itu ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPSdan Tipe NHT terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract  This research is motivated by the fact about the low motivation to learn in students and the rise of the use of YouTube among students or adolescents. This research was conducted at the clear saguling foundation, a foundation that engages in social affairs and helps the welfare of the community around the Citarum river located in Jl. Cianjur, cihampelas village, west bandung district in this foundation which is related to what is meant by human beings in litera. The cornerstone of the theory used in this study is the theory of the use of YouTube and learning motivation theory. The purpose of this study is to study the motivation of YouTube applications to increase student motivation. The method used is to use qualitative methods with descriptive methods. The technique of receiving data through participant observation and interviews. Litera human students with a total of 11 students and 11 respondents from the respondents selected five people as a research sample. litera.Abstrak Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya fakta tentang rendahnya motivasi belajar pada siswa dan maraknya penggunaan youtube di kalangan siswa atau remaja.Penelitian ini dilakukan di yayasan bening saguling foundation yayasan yang bergerak di bidang sosial dan bertujuan untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat sekitar sungai citarum yang terletak di jl.babakan cianjur desa cihampelas kabupaten bandung barat  di yayasan tersebut mempunyai sekolah yang berbasis alam yang bernama insan litera.Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori pemanfaatan youtube dan teori  motivasi belajar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi youtube dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Metodeyang di gunakan yaitu dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.Teknik pengumpulan data melalui  observasi dan dan menyebarkan kuosioner kepada para partisipan yaitu siswa insan litera dengan jumlah siswa 11 orang dan dari responden sebanyak 11 orang di pilih lima orang sebagai sampel penelitianHasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat diketahui bahwa pemanfaatanvideo youtube dapat  meningkatan motivasi belajar siswa insan litera.

<p>The purpose of this research was to improve quality of biology learning considered by teacher’s performance, utility of facilities in the classroom, classroom climate, student’s scientific attitude, and student motivation to learn in class XI.IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar academic year 2012/2013. This research was a Classroom Action Research which performed in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 phases; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data was collected by questionnaire, observation, and interview. Data validation was used triangulation of methods and triangulation of observers. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive technique. Result of the research showed that according triangulation the average percentage for  teacher’s performance in pre cycle (63.96%), cycle I (90.21%), cycle II (95.83%) and cycle III (100%); classroom climate pre cycle (70.22%), cycle I (86.43%), cycle II (83.30%) and cycle III (84.65%); student’s scientific attitude  pre cycle (69.31%), cycle I (76.20%), cycle II (77.61%) and cycle III (83.45%); and student motivation to learn pre cycle (67.01%), cycle I (70.33%), cycle II (73.97%) and cycle III (77.69%); utility of learning facilities in the classroom have been optimally. The  results  showed  that  the  average  percentage quality of  biology learning aspect such as  pre cycle (67.63%),  cycle I (80.79%), cycle II (82.68%) and cycle III (86.45%). The quality of biology learning was  increase 18.82% from pre cycle to cycle III. Cycles stopped in cycle III because the research target was achieved. The conclusion describes that the implementation of problem based learning with science technology society approach was able to improve the quality of biology learning considered by teacher’s performance, utility of facilities in the classroom, classroom climate, student’s scientific attitude, and student motivation to learn in class XI.IPA 5 at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar in academic year 2012/2013.</p><p align="center"> </p><p class="0jTULISANKATAKUNCIKEYWORDS">Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Science Technology Society Approach, Quality of Biology Learning</p>
