The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe strategies to improve jump service in the student activity unit of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The population and sample in this study were students who participated in the volleyball activity unit as many as 60 people, namely 30 sons and 30 daughters, purposive sampling was used in the selection of samples. This type of research presents descriptive research using a quantitative research type approach. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical percentages. Descriptive analysis is the purpose of analyzing and describing the characteristics of this overall data analysis used in the SPSS program version 20.0. The conclusion of this study is a strategy to improve jump service skills in the student activity unit through physical condition training by considering the special preparatory physical condition training program,  pre-competition physical condition training program,  main competition physical condition training program,  transition physical condition training program, and compiling an exercise program. Following the characteristics of the sport of football. However, to determine the exercise program the physical condition needs to be careful, because in this study the sample used is still very little, and the need to consider other variables in conducting further research.

Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Talk test (TT) is an alternative and accessible tool for prescribing and monitoring aerobic training intensity. Although the TT is reliable and valid for cardiorespiratory assessment, its responsiveness to exercise training remains unexplored. Purpose To evaluate the responsiveness of TT in cardiovascular disease (CVD) patients who underwent an exercise training program. Methods Twenty-one CVD patients (61.7 ± 8.4 years) performed an exercise-training program on phase II of cardiac rehabilitation (45-min 3-times a week). The six-minute walk test (6MWT) and TT were done to assess functional capacity at baseline and after 8 weeks. In the individualized TT the treadmill’s speed and/or grade were increased every 2-min, with speed changes based on a reference equation for the 6MWT distance (6MWD). The subjects were asked to read a 38 words standard paragraph at the last 30s of each stage and to answer if they could talk comfortably. Answer options were i) YES (TT+), ii) UNCERTAIN (TT±), or iii) NO (TT-). The first ventilatory threshold (VT1) was identified by two reviewers using the heart rate variability analysis. A paired t-test was applied to analyze the TT duration and 6MWD. The VT1 and TT workload were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test. Spearman correlation was adopted to compare the TT± and VT1 stages. Results Improvement in the VT1 (2.9 ± 1.2 vs 4.4 ± 1.4 min; p < 0.001), duration (12.1 ± 4.4 vs 14.9 ± 5.2 min; p < 0.001), workload at TT- (67.8 ± 48.4 vs 104.5 ± 65.9 w; p < 0.001), and in the 6MWD (471.5 ± 100.3 vs 533.7 ± 92.9 m; p < 0.001) were observed. There was strong correlation between TT± and VT1 in pre (r = 0.613; p < 0.05) and post-rehabilitation (r = 0.678; p < 0.05). Conclusion Talk test performed on a treadmill showed responsiveness after eight weeks of exercise training, being sensitive to the physiological changes provided by the rehabilitation program in CVD patients.

Objective: The primary aim of the present article was to identify palliative care patient populations who are willing to participate in and able to complete a group exercise/physical training program designed specifically for the individual patient.Method: We conducted a prospective phase II intervention study examining the willingness and ability of palliative care cancer patients to participate in a group exercise physical training program. Patients who were diagnosed with incurable cancer and had a life expectancy of less than 1 year at two outpatient clinics were invited to participate in an exercise program in the hospitals. The groups met twice a week over a 6-week period. Results: One hundred one consecutive patients were asked for inclusion. Sixty-three patients agreed to participate. Sixteen (25%) of the 63 patients dropped out after consent was given, but before the program started due to medical problems, social reasons, or death. Thus, 47 patients started the exercise program. Thirteen patients withdrew during the program due to sudden death, medical problems, or social reasons. The most frequent reasons for withdrawal were increased pain or other symptoms. Thirty-four patients completed the exercise program.Significance of results: A high proportion of incurable cancer patients were willing to participate (63%) in a structured exercise program. The attrition rate was high, but despite being severely ill, 54% of the patients completed the exercise period. This shows that a physical exercise program tailored to the individual patient is feasible in this population.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of competence and integrity on the performance of the village apparatus of Sawahlunto City. This research used quantitative methods with associative descriptive research. This study consisted of two independent variables namely competency (X1) and integrity (X2) and one dependent variable, namely performance (Y). The population of this study was all village apparatus of Sawahlunto City, amounting to 50 people. The sample was obtained through proportional random sampling, so that the respondents in this study amounted to 45 samples. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression. The data were collected through a questionnaire that had been validated and reliable in advance, both the content and the item empirical test in the field. The results of this study have found that: 1) There was an effect of competence on performance by 15.4% with a significance of 0.002; 2) There was an effect of integrity on performance of 20.5% with a significance of 0.001; and 3) There was an effect of competence and integrity simultaneously on performance by 45% with a significance of 0.000.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of variable communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure for program implementation RPJMD West Kutai 2011-2015, either partially or simultaneously. Type of this research is quantitative research. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. In this study using survey methods explanation (explanatory survey method) is a survey that explains the variables under study and further analyze the influence between variables accompanied by hypothesis testing. This research was conducted by collecting qualitative data, which will then be presented in the form of numbers (quantified) to be tested in accordance with the design verification of data analysis. The results showed the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.421. There is significant influence between independent variables namely communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure for program implementation RPJMD West Kutai 2011-2015.Keyword: Implementation RPJMD, Communication, Resources

The research was conducted at the Scanner Engineering Department of PT Epson Batam. The topic is written about budget management for repair and maintenance (die & mold) costs with the aim of knowing how to minimize the variance between budgeted costs and their realization. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation, and descriptive and quantitative methods were used for data analysis. The existing budgeting system in the Scanner Engineering Department has been carried out correctly and effectively met the objectives, but overall during the 2018 fiscal year there were budget inefficiencies. Based on observations, it is known that from the budget made there are still differences (favorable variance and unfavorable variance). Where the difference arises due to unexpected costs for damaged equipment, the difference between the scheduled repair time (service) and the reality, as well as delays in sending invoices or debit notes.
