Abstract   This study is aimed to evaluate the legal basis and goal of the training program, the training program resources, the implementation process of training program, and the result of the training program for candidate of school library head to the teachers in elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and vocational high school in Bengkulu Province. The quantitative method using Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) is as the evaluation model. The method is performing by using several approaches including the observations, interviews, and documentations. The results show that the training program is consistent with the standard and criteria of the training program. The resultsreveal that the program has a clear basis and purpose. The training program resources also have also qualified with the standard and criteria. In addition the implementation of education and training program has been run in accordance with the objectives of training program. The result of the training program in improving the competence of candidate head of school library in general in the "good" category. Specifically the products of the training program must be maintained and should be increased as much as possible.   Key Words: Implementation process of training program.

Human resource plays an important role for the economy. How to obtain human resource quality is by implementing the quality of education system. Education is one of the important considerations sought by the government, as proved by the size of its allocation on budget. Therefore, evaluating the efficiency of its implementation in Indonesia is needed by using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. This paper attempts to develop a new efficiency model of Indonesian education system and implement it to all school’s levels: primary school, junior high school, senior and vocational high school, in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The results show provinces that already have achieved cost, technical and overall efficiency are only 1 and 2 provinces at each levels of education. Regarding the managerial implications, teacher’s equity is a top priority in improving the quality of education system in Indonesia.

Vlog is one of the popular technology or social media which can be used as an instructional. According to Parker and Preiffer (2005) that vlog is currents video blog are essentially text blogs with externally linked videos for each entry. This research examined a study of students’ speaking skill through vlog to tenth grade of vocational high school. this research aimed to find out the implementation of learning speaking through vlog, to examine the strengths and the weaknesses of learning speaking through vlog, to investigate the responses given by students toward of learning speaking through vlog. The research was conducted in SMK Al-Fathonah Cianjur. The participant of this research was the students in tenth grade. This research used qualitative research: a study case. The research used non-participants classroom observation, interview, and questionnaire. The classroom observations were conducted three meetings. The interview and questionnaire were conducted after doing observation. Interview involved four students and questionnaire involved all students (20 students). The results showed that vlog can help them in learning speaking and foster their speaking skill. Further, the students were very enthusiastic in learning speaking through vlog. Vlog is suitable for learning speaking and narrative text material. Learning speaking through vlog is more flexible. However, students should have adequate facilities to learn speaking through vlog. Students gave positive responses of implementation learning speaking through vlog is fun, interesting and make students  motivated to improve their speaking skills. Based on the findings, vlog can only be implemented in learning speaking at the intermediate and upper level such as junior high school, senior high school or vocational high school, and university.

This research was conducted to find out the influence of parent-children interpersonal communication on student aggression to the teacher. This research used quantitative research method and the data are processed by using the regression analysis method. The population of this research are adolescent who studied in junior high school, senior high school, and vocational high school. The sample of this research are 360 students from junior high school, senior high school, and vocational high school in Central Jakarta. The instrument of this research is “The Aggression Questionnaire” which has been modified to devoted measuring student aggression to the teacher. Then, using the interpersonal communication scale to measure parent-children interpersonal communication. The result of this research shows that there are 4.4% of negative influence of interpersonal communication on students aggression to the teacher. It means that the more parent-children interpersonal communication happens, the more student aggression to the teacher decreases, and vice versa.   Keyword: interpersonal communication, aggression, students.

Islamic Boarding School "Asy-Syadzili" Pakis of Malang in addition to conducting religious education (Hafidz Al-Qur'an) also manages the formal education of Junior High School, Senior High School, and Vocational High School, which has 650 students and/or with the number of 800 Islamic Students. Meanwhile, Islamic Boarding School "Asy-Syadzili" Pakis of Malang is still managed by traditional management, it does not mean that there is no opportunity to be flexible and dynamic in their management. So the management must have the ability to arrange the implementation of boarding school to fit the vision and mission set. Based on the observation of the devotees, the caretaker / motivation of the board is very low, so that impressed the management of the cottage is less than optimal. The purpose of this dedication so that the board of management understand about boarding school management. The methods used ranging from education on financial management, planning functions, organizing functions, mobilization functions, motivation, leadership, and supervisory functions. Followed by training in preparing the work program boarding school that refers to the vision and mission Islamic Boarding School. After training on female Islamic Students, the board has been generated: average attendance attendance is 89.2%, liveliness in training 78,6%, management understanding about management 84% can be understood well, 82% understanding about management finance, and 95% of board can arrange work program of boarding school systematically and based on management functions.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of learning quality assurance at school and develop its model based on the applied educational technology. The research unit of analysis encompassing several junior high school, senior high school and vocational school in Semarang, Kendal, and Kudus district. The research results (1) school had implemented the learning quality assurance including the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluating process, although the documentation is still desultory, (2) the learning quality assurance based on the applied educational technology had been developed as a reference to define (a) the scope of quality assurance at school, (b) the quality policy and quality assurance organization at school, (c) the standard of learning quality and its achievement strategy, and (d) the manual for learning quality and its instrument, and (3) the learning quality assurance based on the applied educational technology is worth implemented on the learning quality assurance process at school.

This study aims to describe the suitability of the RPP with the Learning Implementation Process, the suitability of the RPP made by teachers with the 2013 Curriculum, and the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the RPP. Data collection using, documentation, observation, interviews and then data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that the percentage of completeness of the RPP components of Vocational High School Business Management in Padang with the Curriculum Component of the 2013 RPP is 97.01%, the percentage of the suitability of the RPP with the implementation of learning is 27.7%, 27.8%, 30.4%,36 , 2% and 41.7%. this means that the teacher is not competent in carrying out the lesson plans when implementing learning in the classroom. The obstacles faced by teachers are lack of time, IT like Infocus is also inadequate in schools and lack of source books.Keywords: learning implementation plan, learning implementation process, curriculum 2013

Islamic Religious Education is an important and inseparable part of the educational curriculum in Indonesia. Besides being an obligation for its adherents, Islamic learning can instill the values of faith and make students possess noble morals (akhlakul karimah). This study aims to examine and discuss how the implementation process of Islamic education in instilling noble morals in students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School). This study uses a qualitative approach with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing as the data analysis. The sample of this study was the principal of the madrasah, vice-principal, students, and teachers of Islamic education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Makassar. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that through the implementation of Islamic Religious Education, the students could possess noble characters. There are eight behaviors that are applied to instill the noble characters, namely habituating the smiles, salaam, and greetings, mutual respect (tolerance), sunnah fasting on Monday and Thursday, performing the Duha prayer, performing dhuhr prayers, reciting the Quran, congregational prayer, and getting used to alms giving (infaq). These eight commendable behaviors are recommended for teachers and principals to be applied in their respective schools.

The research intends to evaluate (1) the implementation and (2) the result of the implementation of civil servant teacher’s restructuring and equalizing policy at vocational high school in Yogyakarta City. This research was policy evaluation using discrepancy evaluation model by identifying the gap between performance and standard. The data was collected through interviews and documentation from several informants including The Office of Secondary Education staff, vice principals of curriculum and some civil servant teachers. The research instrument was tested by using the content validity test while the data validity was measured by triangulation and member checks. The data were analysed using the descriptive statistical analysis for analysing the quantitative data and continuous interactive analysis for analysing the qualitative data. The research results are as follows. (1) The implementation of civil servant teachers’ structuring and equity policy at vocational high schools in Yogyakarta City has been implemented properly in accordance with the implementation standards. (2) The implementation of civil servant teacher restructuring and equalizing policy successfully rearranges 15 civil servant teachers and reduces the number of teacher shortages by 7%. Nonetheless, the number of teacher shortages in certain subjects is still quite large, especially in productive subjects. The positive impacts of implementation of civil servant teachers’ restructuring and equalizing policy are (a) teachers are motivated to increase career paths; (b) teachers get new teaching experience and (c) teacher get new relationships. Meanwhile, the negative impact is that the teachers are having difficulty in managing teaching time which causes them not focus on teaching.

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the context, input, process, and product of a substantive technical training program for preparing lesson plans for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. The study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product). The results showed that; first, the context dimension states that the implementation of education and training is by the legal basis for working; second, the input dimension includes the availability of reliable resources, adequate facilities, and infrastructure and financing borne by the government, so that its implementation can be carried out properly; third, the dimension of the process which includes the implementation of programs that are by the predetermined plans and designs; fourth, the product dimension where the teacher already understands the specified competencies.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of batik skills training program as a recommendation for program improvement. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using Context, Input, Process, and Product evaluation model. Samples were taken from the Institute of Skills and Training in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, and Tangerang. The results of the evaluation components that meet the evaluation criteria are all aspects of the context component, discipline and learning process, while the components of batik teachers' education qualifications, the use of educational facilities and infrastructure standards, curriculum components, program financing, evaluation of learning outcomes, mastery of theoretical competencies, practices, and impacts to program participants have not been met. The batik skills training program needs to be continued with some improvement. It is recommended for the product components, especially on the impact aspects felt by graduates, to be improved.
