Abstract: The article to discuss integral education, focusing on High School. In recent years, this level of education has been changed by reforms, in which, it was presented as a possibility of integration between school and professional occupation and/or as an integration between education and society. Among the reform projects, the Innovative Higher Education Proram (ProEMI) was introduced, which, it has been discussed in Brazil since 2009. Based on legal documents and studies that analyze the social problems, the article shows the possibilities and limits of an integral education in the dynamic and contradictory context of capitalist society. Finally, based on Marx and Gramsci, it shows that integral education goes far beyond a curricular redesign, but it requires a cultural change, in the sense of unifying teaching method and methodology, to expand the student's ability to understand their mediations, determinations and historical possibilities. Keywords: High school. The dynamics of several demographic indicators of Russia - child and teenage cohorts in 1970-2000, life expectancy in 1995-2000, migration flows among federal districts in the period between two censuses of 1989 and 2002 - are considered in the article. The author puts forward the hypothesis about the influence of these indicators on the level of education in narrow and broad senses - in educational institutions and the society as a whole. He estimates the perspectives of regional higher educational institutions under conditions of absence of plan distribution of graduates and the double cyclical fall in the number of high school graduates. The agenda for the development of a two-stage system of higher education corresponding with international integration processes is formulated.

Food is a multidimensional science that has appeal among other social representations of food practices. This study aimed to characterize and identify the determinants of eating practices according to the social representations of a population in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (RSK) region of Morocco. Data concerning socio-demographic characteristics were collected using a questionnaire. The social representations of dietary practices were obtained by characterizing three dietary practices. The main results showed that the high proportion of the study population is over 34 years old, is female, is married, and resides in the urban area. The most characteristic of good dietary practices chosen by the majority of the population was palatability, the factor chosen as the least characteristic of good dietary practices was traditional preparations. Among the studied factors, age, gender, higher level of education, professional occupation, "married" marital status, and involvement in purchasing and food preparation within the household are the determinants of certain representations.

Globally, the expansion of investments in the field of higher education, which stems from both the demands of the economic sector and the growing appreciation of the social dimension of knowledge, implies mobilization within the scope of access to this level of education. If, on the one hand, access policies play a central role, on the other hand, the interactions of individuals in the different environments of which they are part cannot be disregarded. The aim of this paper, from a socio-ecological perspective, was to analyse the movements of access to higher education in Portugal from 1960 to 2017. The interpretation of data on access and legislation on higher education in that period, in relation to the literature review outcomes, made it possible to identify moments of expansion and retraction of access to higher education in Portugal. It was at the confluence of a set of more or less favorable factors that the distinct movements of access originated over time. This confluence of factors led individuals to shape and reshape their aspirations concerning their entry to higher education.

The study compares the social mobility and status attainment of first-and second-generation Turks in nine Western European countries with those of Western European natives and with those of Turks in Turkey. It shows that the children of low-class migrants are more likely to acquire a higher education than their counterparts in Turkey, making them more educationally mobile. Moreover, they successfully convert this education in the Western European labor market, and are upwardly mobile relative to the first generation. When comparing labor market outcomes of second generations relative to Turks in Turkey, however, the results show that the same level of education leads to a higher occupation in Turkey. The implications of these findings are discussed.

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of practical training of social workers in high school of Poland. The analysis of the source base with the use of searchbibliographic, logical-system and interpretive-analytical methods revealed that a considerable amount of work is devoted to covering the issue of practical training of social workers in the educational process of higher education in modern world science, but systematic historical and pedagogical research on the development of the practical training of social workers in high school of Poland at the present stage of development was not carried out. The theoretical principles of the genesis and development of practical training of social workers in high school of Poland are revealed. It has been established that the legislative provision of training of social workers in Poland is a complex and dynamic process, which is constantly changing in accordance with international standards, regulatory requirements, social changes and needs for this type of service in a European country. However, the adoption of a number of legislative acts, which, in the light of European tendencies, regulated the social policy of the state during the period under investigation, predetermined much earlier the delineation of the professional space for the social worker in Poland and the emergence of a system of vocational training of social workers with the domination of their practical competitiveness on the labor market. On the basis of a holistic historical and pedagogical analysis it was established that the process of practical training of a social worker in high school of Poland as a social phenomenon includes two conditionally defined, substantiated and interconnected periods with corresponding transformations at the genesis stages: the first period – the development of practical training of social workers of the Polish Higher Education (1990 – 2004): (1990 – 1995); (1995 – 1999); (1999 – 2004); the second period – the intensification of the practical training of social workers of the Polish Higher Education (2004 – 2018): (2004 – 2008); (2008 – 2018). The practical component of the vocational training of social workers in high school of Poland is synergistically due to the subject-subjective interaction and mobility of the educational institution and the student, with a predictable orientation for future professional cooperation between the social worker and the client. Such an approach is an integral part of the social system of the state, which determines political, social, educational and personal transformations. In order to make changes, improve, review some of its elements and how to interact with them, one can apply only those pedagogical influences that are associated with natural trends in its development. The progressive ideas of the Polish experience regarding the practical training of social workers are outlined and the possibilities of their creative use in the domestic educational space are carried out. The study does not claim to comprehensively and exhaustively disclose all aspects of the problem. The directions of further work include the implementation of a comparative analysis of the professional training of social workers in Ukraine and the EU, the development of tools for ensuring the professional selfimprovement of specialists of the stated specialty by means of innovative foreign technologies, etc. Key words: practical training, practical courses, practice, practical social work, social worker, practical training of a social worker in Polish Higher Education.

The chapter asks the ultimate question about high participation systems (HPS) of higher education: what kind of society is it when the majority of young people have higher education? It reviews theories and concepts developed in two disciplinary traditions: social sciences (structural functionalism, neo-institutionalism, etc.) and educational philosophy (Bildung and growth theory among others). Those two strands of scholarship highlight two key dimensions in the relations between higher education and society: the social/occupational structure, and socialization as human development/self-formation. The Bildung idea of a dual human nature, both determined by the world and being self-determining, largely corresponds to these two disciplinary approaches and opens up an intellectual space for further cross-disciplinary, multi-dimensional research on the meanings of HPS higher education for individuals and society.

Given the fact that education represent a (sub) system of society, the digitalization of society consequently results in the digitalization of education as well. Starting from the premise that the pedagogical implications of digitalization are numerous and that there are significant differences at different levels of education, the aim of the paper is to consider the pedagogical implications of digitalization when it comes to higher education. The objective is concretized within the following tasks: (a) the importance of researching the relationship between education and society; (b) presenting the differences between digital and analogue generation with implications for education, (c) pointing out to the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation within higher education. In conclusion, it is pointed out that the digitalization of education is a controversial topic with numerous implications that are significantly conditioned by the level of education to which they relate. Also, polarization in attitudes about digitalization as an exclusively positive or negative phenomenon in the educational process represents two extremes in approaches, and the potential solution lies in finding a balance.
