Financing using a sale and purchase contract is one of the most dominant financing in Islamic financial institutions. One of the Islamic microfinance institutions namely baitul maal wat tamil has two types of sale and purchase agreements on its financing products, namely the contract of sale and purchase of murabahah and bai bithaman ajil. This study discusses the concept of financing based on the sale and purchase contract, namely murabahah and bai bithaman ajil on baitul maal wat tamwil (BMT) Pahlawan Tulungagung. The things that need to be reviewed in the practice of the ajabahah and bai bithaman contract are adjusted to the points in the DSN-MUI Fatwa on murabahah financing. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive case study strategies. Data collection through interviews with four respondents consisting of financing managers, managers and two members of the financing of buying and selling financing and documentation. Interpretation and conclusions are made by linking between data obtained in interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the concept of financing murabahah and bai bithaman ajil in BMT Pahlawan is not fully in accordance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa regarding the purchase of goods. However, this is still tolerated because of the limitations of BMT to purchase goods which then applies the Al-hajatu tunazzilu rule, manzilata al-dharurah, which is a requirement or need to occupy an emergency position so that the purchasing system is allowed. Keywords: Financing, Murabaha, Bai bithaman ajil, DSN-MUI, BMT Pahlawans

One crucial factor in determining the successes of learning in schools is the teachers’ performances. Teacher’s performance not only determines the learning successes but also the achievements of the organizational goals. This study aims to determine the effects of the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture on the teachers’ performance in the XYZ School. The number of subjects in this study was 82 teachers who taught at the XYZ, both the Primary and Secondary levels. A quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method, in which the Smart PLS application was implemented to process the data, was used in this study. For the data collection, a survey technique using a questionnaire was selected as a research instrument. The results of the data analysis have shown that the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture have positive effects on performance.

Purpose In 2012, the Israeli Ministry of Education and its Testing and Evaluation Department introduced a new tool to evaluate the quality of kindergarten teachers’ work. This paper aims to identify how kindergarten teachers perceive the new multiple domains performance tool. Design/methodology/approach The study applied a qualitative paradigm of data collection and analysis. Data collection consisted of semi-structured in-depth interviews conducted with 36 kindergarten teachers. Findings Findings indicated that most kindergarten teachers perceive their work plan and the kindergarten climate as the most important evaluation domains, while perceiving involving parents as the least important and even an unnecessary domain. One-third of them indicated that an innovation domain should be added. Also, the kindergarten teachers perceived the use of the KT-MDPT as both positive and negative. Originality/value There is a clear dearth in scholarly literature dealing with the evaluation of the quality of kindergarten teachers’ work. This study is the first to reveal Israeli kindergarten teachers' attitudes regarding this new tool for work quality evaluation.

A pilot program mentoring youth professionals through “learning-by-doing” projects yielded consistent increases in evaluation knowledge and skills over three years. Self-assessed skill improvements were greatest for preparatory processes (planning, focusing, design, selecting methods) and reporting competencies that are more often emphasized in organizational evaluation requirements. Smaller increases in data collection and analysis skills were also perceived by participating youth professionals. Focus groups with each of six evaluation “learning circle” groups revealed benefits of participation in the evaluation “learning circle,” as well as needs for evaluation training and tools, and challenges faced within the organizational culture.

Background: Gender issues have been guided recently in our country from a misogynistic and patriarchal bias. Apparently, school mathematics would have nothing to contribute or problematize in this sense. However, the exercise we propose calls into question the neutrality of this school subject and moves it from a perspective that allows us to investigate the theme of gender in contemporary times. Objective: in the excerpt made for this article, we examined the approaches of these two studies to gender issues and their connections with mathematics education. Settings: We analysed the 113 books that composed the corpus of the investigation, from where we selected 12 images that helped us compose what we called a “practical handbook on how to be a girl.” Design: this handbook was prepared as a fictional narrative from the theoretical-analytical exercise undertaken on the material through the discourse analysis. Data collection and analysis: by understanding images as pedagogical devices, we sought regularities that allowed us to elaborate the handbook. Results: from the analyses, we constructed the following sentences related to the subject girl/woman: (i) girls must be careful; (ii) girls must be selfless; (iii) girls must be delicate; (iv) women must mind the time, (vi) girls must be organised and efficient and, finally, (vii) girls must know how to cook. Conclusion: mathematics, as a non-neutral science, operates as a tool so that desirable values of an extremely conservative portion of the Brazilian population are taught and propagated.

The leader is happy, when he sees an orderly employee at work, systematic in solving problems, listening to orders, pay attention to standards, be careful when working, respect the opinions of others, work together as a solid team, and so on. Indeed that is discipline. This research seeks to dig up information, obtain data, analyze findings, provide conclusions and suggestions. To prove this, a series of scientific methods was carried out using a quantitative approach and regression analysis. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and random samples. This finding suggests, that a person is said to be disciplined if his attitude is in accordance with his behavior. His behavior is measurable proof of discipline, and has implications for organizational goals

Background: Individuals with impaired hearing find it difficult to understand speech in the presence of background noise—a problem addressed effectively by directional microphones. As open-canal fittings have become increasingly popular in the recent past, so has the debate about the effective directional benefit available from these devices. Purpose: This study investigates the benefit of directional microphones in two commercially available open-canal behind-the-ear hearing aids using the Hearing in Noise Test (HINT). Study Sample: Sixteen individuals, between 50 and 85 year of age, with high-frequency bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and no previous hearing aid experience participated in this study. Data Collection and Analysis: Data Collection and Analysis: Individuals were asked to repeat sentences (presented at 0° azimuth) in the presence of a diffuse-field uncorrelated broadband speech-shaped noise. HINT performance was compared across hearing instruments and conditions using a linear model with repeated measures. Results: There was a directional advantage of 2.6 dB as compared to the unaided condition. Average performance was worse in the omnidirectional mode as compared to the unaided condition. Conclusions: These results suggest that directional signal processing should not be precluded in open-canal instruments for listening in noisy environments.

This study aims to determine the Young Asahan PKS movement in fostering Millennial political participation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach in data collection and analysis. Data collection techniques using a series of methods as interviews, observation, and documentation. This data is processed through data reduction and then organized through data displays that are displayed in tabular form and then drawn conclusions. The results of this study indicate that PKS Muda Asahan plays an active role in fostering millennial political participation in the 2019 PILPRES in Kota Kisaran Timur District. The role can be seen from the programs established to influence millennials to actively participate in voting, monitoring, campaigning, joining interest groups, and communicating with public officials. Some programs that have been formed to attract millennial interest are considered through the 4 millennial generation development segments; (1) Pariotics; (2) Buddy; (3) Fighter; and (4) Star. However, PKS Muda Asahan has not succeeded in forming political discussion on the external sphere. This obstacle occurs due to the stigma of the general public about the proximity of the Young Asahan PKS to the PKS party.
