<em>Literacy is identified with reading and writing activities. With the passage of time literacy activities not only read and write. Literacy is defined as the ability to support, challenge, create, communicate and count using printed material and writing related to various contexts. Literacy that supports learning is literacy that allows individuals to achieve what they want to know, develop their knowledge and talents and support their participation in the community. This study aims to describe the management of the development of literacy culture, the implementation of the development of a culture of literacy and the evaluation of literacy culture development programs in MTs Negeri Kota Batu. This research uses qualitative with descriptive research types. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis models. The results show the management carried out by the MTs Negeri Kota Batu under the coordination of the kepala madrasah and supported by the deputy of kepala madrasah in the fields of curriculum, infrastructure, public relations and financing. Not only that, for the success of the school management program, it also involves the madrasah committee. The implementation of the program in the form of habituating the dhuha prayer and reading Al-Qur’an, the habit of silent reading before learning, holding reading corners, programming the language of the month, and scientific writing training for teacher in collaboration with universities in Malang. Program evaluation carried out by the madrasah management is still anticipatory action. Its consideration is that the program is just implemented.</em>

Public Diplomacy for a country is an important tool. This study aims to analyze the public diplomacy strategy carried out by Indonesia as a response to the Global War on Terror (GWOT) policy carried out by America after the events of September 11, 2001. Public diplomacy carried out by Indonesia through the Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) is growing. Every year the number of participating countries participating in the BDF continues to increase. Indonesia must be able to take advantage of this momentum and formulate an increasingly comprehensive public diplomacy strategy in order to improve Indonesia's self- image in the eyes of the international community. Financial performance can demonstrate bank quality by going through the calculation of financial ratios The financial ratios of bank can be done by analyzing the financial statements published periodically. oaassess financial performanceain banking need to be aware of the analysis and cumulative financial impact. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of Bank Mandiri listed at IDX using liquidity ratio, solvency and profitability in the years 2015-2018. The research methods in this study use descriptive research types. In this study the data used is secondary data, with Data collection. Technique that are documentation and library studies. From Bank Mandiri liquidity calculation, it shows good ratio or liquid. It can be seen from the current ratio, quick ratio, and cash ratio on Bank Mandiri's ability to meet the short term obligations have been made with good asset management, capital, and cash. The solvency of Bank Mandiri shows the ratio of good and solvable. It can be seen from the DAR and DER ratios that show declining year-to-year ratio. In banking industries, employees are entrusted with different roles and responsibilities, and training enables them to carry out these roles and responsibilities efficiently by let them to learn new things. Moreover, it will prepare them to take up higher responsibilities in the future. Therefore, this study focuses to analyze the employee perceptions on effectiveness of Training Programs in Myanmar Citizens Bank (MCB).  By using the descriptive research method, primary data are collected from the responsible persons and employees of MCB in head office, branches. Secondary data are gathered and scrutinized from relevant text books, records and annual reports from MCB. The research revealed that there are four kinds of training programs in MCB. Moreover, this paper revealed that MCB successfully delivered its training programs in year 2015 to 2018 and the trainees have positive perceptions on effectiveness of training programs in MCB. Based on these results, this paper pointed out the important facts that can give improvement actions for effective and efficient training programs in Myanmar Citizen Banks.

This article describe about The relationship between the school and the community is very influential in improving the behavior of students. Public relations as a liaison from the school and the community must always be maintained properly because the school will always be associated with the community, cannot be separated from it as a school partner in achieving the success of the school itself. The high participation of parents in school education is one of the characteristics of good school management, meaning that the extent to which the community can be empowered in the education process in schools is an indicator of the management of the school in question.

The purpose of this study is to find out how much Return On Investment (ROI) is to assess the financial performance of PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses secondary data. Data collection techniques are documentation and literature study. Research population for 22 years from the start of listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 1997-2019. Then a sample of 10 years from 2010-2019 with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used statistical analysis with a one-sample t-test. The results showed that the Return On Investment (ROI) to assess the financial performance of      PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk was in a bad condition because it was less than 30% of the expected.

This study aims to determine how the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia through the islamicity performance index approach for the period 2013-2017, by the principles of justice, halalness, and purification. This study using quantitative descriptive research. The number of banks sampled are five Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia that have been selected, through a purposive sampling technique first. These banks are BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, Mandiri Syariah, BCA Syariah, and Victoria Syariah. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the financial statements of each islamic commercial bank that is sampled. Through the islamicity performance index approach, the results of this study indicate that the financial performance of islamic commercial bank is unsatisfactory, based on the average of the variables that have been processed in accordance with predicate valuation standards.

Las relaciones públicas deben concebirse como un proceso de gestión de las relaciones al servicio de la gestión de la comunicación de las corporaciones y las instituciones. En este contexto, el objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar la Ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Princesa de Asturias como una técnica específica de relaciones públicas institucionales orientada a la legitimación y notoriedad de la Casa Real y los sucesivos Herederos a la Corona ante la opinión pública nacional e internacional, trasladando la imagen de continuidad y normalidad democrática. Para lograr la consecución de este objetivo principal, este trabajo realiza una revisión teórica sustentada en el uso de fuentes de datos secundarios, fundamentalmente bibliográficos y archivísticos. Los resultados evidencian utilidad de la organización de actos como herramienta de gestión de la opinión pública para vehicular y difundir los mensajes institucionales pertinentes en cada momento histórico.  _________________________Public relations should be conceived as a process of managing relationships at the service of communication management of corporations and institutions. In this context, the main objective of this work is to analyze the Ceremony of delivery of the Prizes Princess of Asturias as a specific technique of institutional public relations oriented to the legitimation and notoriety of the Royal House and the successive Heirs to the Crown before the, national and international, public opinion, transferring the image of continuity and democratic normality. In order to achieve this main objective, this work makes a theoretical revision based on the use of secondary data sources, mainly bibliographic and archival. The results show usefulness of the organization of acts as a tool for public opinion management to disseminate and disseminate relevant institutional messages in each historical moment.

<p class="Abstrak">Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) dengan layanan informasi pengelolaan lahan yang cocok sehingga lahan akan bernilai ekonomi, oleh karenanya penelitian ini membahas pemetaan dan pengkajian potensi sumber daya lahan pesisir dalam mendukung usaha budidaya, pariwisata, konservasi, dan daerah tangkapan ikan yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian secara deskriptif memakai pendekatan survei untuk pengamatan wilayah penelitian dan pengumpulan data sekunder serta pendekatan analisis spasial untuk parameter dan kriteria kesesuaian lahan. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data ini menggunakan <em>software</em> SIG yakni <em>ArcGIS</em> 10.1 dengan model <em>skorin</em>g dan <em>overlay</em>. Hasil penelitian dengan studi kasus Kepulauan Padaido ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa saat ini dengan adanya SIG yang dibangun, Pemerintah Daerah Biak Numfor sudah dapat mengolah lahan pesisir untuk dimanfaatkan sesuai dengan potensi lahan yang seharusnya, seperti potensi lahan untuk usaha budidaya rumput laut seluas 13.269,41 ha atau 94%, untuk budidaya teripang seluas 7.069,91 ha atau 83%, sebagai aktifitas pariwisata pesisir seluas 7.778,45 ha atau 86%, sebagai kegiatan konservasi seluas 2.957,54 ha atau 163%, untuk daerah tangkapan ikan karang seluas 2.078,92 ha atau 80%, dan sebagai daerah tangkapan ikan pelagis 1.585,61 ha atau 87%.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em>Geographic Information System (GIS) with suitable land management information services so that the land will be of economic value, therefore this study discusses the mapping and assessment of the potential of coastal land resources in supporting sustainable aquaculture, tourism, conservation, and fishing grounds. The descriptive research method uses a survey approach for observation of research areas and secondary data collection as well as a spatial analysis approach for land suitability parameters and criteria. This data processing and analysis technique uses GIS software namely ArcGIS 10.1 with a scoring and overlay model. The results of the study with the Padaido Islands case study can be concluded that currently with the GIS being built, the Regional Government of Biak Numfor has been able to cultivate coastal land to be used according to the potential of the land that should be, such as the potential land for seaweed cultivation business area of 13,269.41 ha or 94%, for sea cucumber cultivation covering 7,069.91 ha or 83%, as coastal tourism activities covering 7,778.45 ha or 86%, as conservation activities covering 2,957.54 ha or 163%, for reef catchments covering 2,078.92 ha or 80%, and as a pelagic catchment area 1,585.61 ha or 87%.</em><em></em></p><p> </p>

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of education, provincial minimum wages and capital expenditure on income inequality in Indonesia. This type of research is associative descriptive research, where the data used is secondary data from 2012 to 2017 obtained from related institutions and institutions, which were analyzed using panel regression method. The findings of this study indicate that education has a negative and insignificant effect on income inequality in provinces in Indonesia, provincial minimum wages have a negative and significant effect on income inequality in provinces in Indonesia, capital expenditure has a positive and significant effect on income inequality in provinces in Indonesia. Taken together education, provincial minimum wages, capital expenditure has a significant effect on income inequality in provinces in Indonesia. Keywords: income inequality, education, minimum wage, capital expenditure

This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of Makassar State University in increasing the positive image of Makassar State University in the community. To find out these objectives, the researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study were as many as five people using data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from research results are processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Public Relations devised a strategy so that the function could run in accordance with the objectives of Makassar State University, among others, trying to create a conducive climate between institutions and the public in order to do persuasive and educative approaches to the public, trying to create two-way communication by disseminating information from institutions to public parties. educate and provide information, in order to create mutual understanding, respect, understanding and also strive to foster harmonious relations between organizations and various groups, both in and out relations to enhance cooperation. Public Relations seeks to socialize the Makassar State University mission to be accepted or received support from the public / public.
