<p>Employee performance plays an important role in determining the quality of an organization. Thus, one of the main reasons for evaluating employee performance is to maintain and even improve the quality of the organization. The transformational leadership style and the emotional intelligence of the principal can play an important role in building employee motivation within a school which can then influence employee performance. The aim of this research is to determine if the transformational leadership style of the principal, the principal’s emotional intelligence, and the <span id="docs-internal-guid-6da33e44-7fff-32e9-29ef-f57c05b8999b"><span>motivation</span></span> of the employees have a positive influence on the employees’ job performance. The research used a quantitative approach with a path analysis to determine whether the coefficient effect of each variable was significant. Data was collected from 75 employees in a school using a <span id="docs-internal-guid-560219b1-7fff-d549-3ecb-5fc650f939d5"><span>questionnaire</span></span>. The results show that the principal's emotional intelligence and employee motivation have a positive effect on employee performance whereas the transformational leadership style of the principal has no effect on employee performance.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Kinerja karyawan memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas sebuah organisasi. Oleh sebab itu, alasan utama dilakukannya penilaian kinerja karyawan adalah untuk mempertahankan, bahkan meningkatkan kualitas organisasi. Kepemimpinan transformasional dan kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah memegang peranan penting di dalam membangun motivasi karyawan sehingga dapat memiliki pengaruh pada kinerja karyawan di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif kepemimpinan transformasional, kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah, dan motivasi kerja karyawan terhadap kinerja para karyawan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis jalur untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh koefisien dari masing-masing variable adalah signifikan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner kepada 75 karyawan yang ada di suatu sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.</p>

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style,intrinisk motivation on the performance of employees train company with job satisfaction asa mediating variable. The number of respondents taken in this study were 52 respondentsusing probability sampling. This study uses a survey method using a quantitative approach.The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis with SPSS software.Based on the conclusion that transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation havea positive effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of transformational leadership style and corporate culture on job satisfaction as a variable intervening to enhance employee performance. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to data collection using questionnaires. The study was conducted at PT. Mahakam Berlian Samjaya the sample size is about 139 employees, using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results show that transformational leadership and organizational culture significantly affect job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Job satisfaction significant positive effect on employee performance. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Success or failure of a company is determined by the leader. Good leadership in an organiza­tion is, supposed to be, also supported by the work culture of the employees in that company. The stronger the leadership style applied and supported by the implementation of good work culture, can improve the performance of employees, and ultimately the achievement of the com­pany. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of leadership style and work culture on employee performance in the field of nursing at Hermina Hospital members. The variable in this research is transformational leadership style (X1) and work culture (X2), as well as em­ployee performance (Y). Samples used as many as 173 respondents from 21 Hermina Hospital members with census techniques. Data is collected using questionnaires, then analyzed by us­ing multiple linear regression statistical methods. The Results showed there were a positive influence of leadership style on employee performance and positive influence of work culture on employee performance. However, compared to the amount of work culture, the style of leader­ship has a greater influence on performance, with the influence score of 30.6 %.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of organizational commitment on the relationship between transformational leadership style and employees’ job performance in the Divisional Secretariats in Jaffna District. 287 employees were selected for this study. Leadership styles were measured using MLQ Rater Form 5-x, employee performance was measured using job performance Scale and organizational commitment was measured using Organizational Commitment Questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis was performed to get factor structure and confirmatory factor analysis performed to confirm the validly and reliability of the study instruments. The results revealed that transformational leadership has a positive impact on job performance and on organizational commitment. It was also found that organizational commitment doesn’t have a mediating effect in the impact of transformational leadership on employee performance. The findings also revealed that organizational commitment doesn’t have impact on employee performance. This study recommends that the leaders should pay more attention in their leadership style as a way to improve employee performance. This study further suggests that future researchers should cover larger samples and the other public sector organizations to better understand the relationship between the variables.

The purpose of this research is to analyze further the effect of transformational leadership style,employee motivation, and organizational culture on employee performance. In this study, theresearcher uses of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and organizational cultureas an independent variables and employee performance as the dependent variable.Methods of data collection in the research that is used is a questionnaire with a sample of 57permanent employees of PT. BPR Arta Utama Pekalongan (consisting of a central office and fourbranch offices), in which the research is using a sample of census or using the entire population ofemployees of PT. BPR Arta Utama. Methods of data analysis used in this research is multiplelinear regression analysis.Based on the multiple linear regression that is performed to produce transformational leadershipstyle, it has a positive and significant impacts on employee performance. Meanwhile, workmotivation and organizational culture do not affect the performance of employee.Keywords : Transformational leadership style, work motivation, organizationalculture, and employee performance.

This study aimed to determine the effect of transformational leadership style on performance and organizational commitment as an intervening variable, the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and organizational commitment as an intervening variable, determine the effect of transformational leadership style directly to employee performance, and determine the influence of organizational culture directly to the employee performance. The population in this study were all employees of the Watukumpul districtl. By using the census method, all employees amounted to 140 people were carried out as the  sample. Analysis  data were analyzed using path analysis. Based on the research results it could be concluded that there was  significantly and positive effect of  transformational leadership style and organizational culture. Transformational leadership style and organizational culture also had significantly and positive effect on Organizational commitment. And finally there was significantly and positive effect of organiztional commitment.The research also showed that Organizational commitment had a mediating role between  transformational leadership style, Organizational culture and employee performance. This research is based on the importance of transformational leadership styles and workmorale on employee performance. The formulation of the problem in this study iswhether transformational leadership style (X1) and morale (X2) have a significant andpartially significant effect on employee performance (Y), the research objective is todetermine the effect of transformational leadership style (X1) and morale (X2) onemployee performance (Y) raffles city hotel Bengkulu. The object of this study isBengkulu City Hotel Raffles employees with a total sampling method, which isexplained by respondents in this study were 31 employees. Methods of data collectionusing observation and questionnaires, data analysis techniques using the classicassumption test, descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesistesting. The results of this study can be seen from the multiple linear regression testusing SPSS namely Y = 7.175 + 0.396X1 + 0.512X2. The analysis found thattransformational leadership style (X1) had a positive effect on employee performanceand morale (X2) also had a positive effect on employee performance (Y). Testing thehypothesis of the t test and F test shows that both variables significantly influenceemployee performance (Y) with a significance level &lt;0.05. This study aims to find out: 1) The Effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance of oil processing companies in Balikpapan; 2) Effect of Transactional Leadership Style on Employee Performance of oil processing companies in Balikpapan; 3) Transformational Leadership Style on Quality of Work Life of oil processing companies in Balikpapan; 4) Effect of Transactional Leadership Style on Quality of Work Life of oil processing companies in Balikpapan. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a total sample of 80 respondent nurses' employees. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and purposive sampling methods. Data analysis techniques in this study used Simple Linear Regression. The results showed the Transformational Leadership Style affects the Employee Performance of oil processing companies in Balikpapan(H1); the Transactional Leadership Style affects the Performance of Employees of oil processing companies in Balikpapan(H2). From these results, it can be concluded that all indicators have a positive and significant effect.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance, organizational commitment, leadership style on the performance of rural credit employee institutions. The population in this study were 122 LPDs in Badung Regency. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. Based on the established criteria, 55 LPD samples were taken in Badung Regency. The results of this study indicate that good corporate governance, organizational commitment and transformational leadership style have a positive effect on the performance of LPD employees in Badung Regency.  Keywords: Good Corporate Governance; Organizational Commitment; Leadership Style; Employee Performance.

Affective commitment is a commitment that comes from within and it needs quite some time to develop. Organizations need to ensure that their employees have strong affective commitment. Transformational leadership style can help employees to feel valued and develop strong commitment. On the other hand the positive atmosphere inside the organization will also enrich the positive experience of employees which in the end will increase the affective commitment. This study analyses the effect of transformational leadership and job satisfaction on employee’s affective commitment. We study one of the state companies in Medan using 72 participants. The explanatory method and path analysis are used to explain relationships and influences between variables. The results of the study prove that transformational leadership style and job satisfaction simultaneous and partial have effects in improving the quality of employee affective commitment. Business organizations need to apply transformational leadership styles and develop human resources program that can enhance job satisfaction. By carefully focus on these two elements, the organization is expected to be able to increase employee affective commitment. Keywords—Transformational Leadership, Job satisfaction, Affective Commitment Abstrak Komitmen afektif adalah komitmen yang muncul dari dalam diri sendiri dan dibangun seiring berjalannya waktu. Organisasi perlu memastikan bahwa karyawan mereka memiliki komitmen afektif yang kuat. Unsur kepemimpinan khususnya yang bersifat transformasional diyakini dapat membuat karyawan merasa dihargai dan pada akhirnya memiliki komitmen yang kuat. Di samping itu, suasana dalam organisasi yang menyenangkan akan memperkaya pengalaman positif karyawan yang juga berdampak pada peningkatan komitmen afektif. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja terhadap terbentuknya komitmen afektif karyawan di salah satu perusahaan negara di Medan. 72 Responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Metode eksplanatori dan analisis jalur digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh simultan dan parsial terhadap peningkatan kualitas komitmen afektif karyawan. Organisasi bisnis perlu mengaplikasikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional serta mengembangkan program sumberdaya manusia yang bisa meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dengan mengoptimalkan kedua unsur ini, organisasi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan komitmen afektif karyawan. Kata kunci—Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Afektif
