In recent decades, almost all areas of human activity are undergoing rapid digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence, which fundamentally affect social relations within society. In addition to the obvious benefits of using human-like intelligence in the modern digital world, there may also be negative consequences associated, first of all, with the processes of making important, large-scale management decisions by the cyber-management of a digital society. The problem of the impact on social security of decision-making by artificial intelligence in a digital society has not been sufficiently studied. The article considers the main social aspects of the problems related to the consequences of artificial intelligence making decisions. The main focus is the impact of decisions made by cyber managers on the social stability of a digital society. Some features of the emerging social relations “human – artificial intelligence”, “Manager – Cyber-manager” are considered. Based on analyzing the impact of the consequences of decision-making by artificial intelligence on social relations, a number of changes in the training system for digitalization processes are proposed, and requirements for the competence of specialists in developing and operating human-like intelligence are formulated. Based on the practical requirements of the modern IT sphere, the author has developed and introduced into the educational process a number of cycles of interdisciplinary lectures and practical seminars for future IT specialists in a digital society. A number of solutions to pedagogical problems related to the development of the analytical and creative abilities of future specialists, of architects and developers of cyber-systems and of managerial decision-making are proposed.

The present paper aims to analyze the impairment of tangible assets with the help of artificial intelligence. Stochastic fuzzy numbers have been introduced with a dual purpose: on one hand to estimate the cash flows generated by tangible assets exploitation and, on the other hand, to ensure the value ranges stratifications that define these cash flows. Estimation of cash flows using stochastic fuzzy numbers was based on cash flows generated by tangible assets in previous periods of operation. Also, based on the Lagrange multipliers, were introduced: the objective function of minimizing the standard deviations from the recorded value of the cash flows generated by the tangible assets, as well as the constraints caused by the impairment of tangible assets identification according to which the cash flows values must be equal to the annual value of the invested capital. Within the determination of the impairment value and stratification of the value ranges determined by the cash flows using stochastic fuzzy numbers, the impairment of assets risk was identified. Information provided by impairment of assets but also the impairment risks, is the basis of the decision-making measures taken to mitigate the impact of accumulated impairment losses on company’s financial performance.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and its correlates, such as machine and deep learning, are changing health care, where complex matters such as comoribidity call for dynamic decision-making. Yet, some people argue for extreme caution, referring to AI and its correlates as a black box. This brief article uses philosophy and science to address the black box argument about knowledge as a myth, concluding that this argument is misleading as it ignores a fundamental tenet of science, i.e., that no empirical knowledge is certain, and that scientific facts – as well as methods – often change. Instead, control of the technology of AI and its correlates has to be addressed to mitigate such unexpected negative consequences.

Recent advances in artificial intelligence are primarily driven by machine learning, a prediction technology. Prediction is useful because it is an input into decision-making. In order to appreciate the impact of artificial intelligence on jobs, it is important to understand the relative roles of prediction and decision tasks. We describe and provide examples of how artificial intelligence will affect labor, emphasizing differences between when the automation of prediction leads to automating decisions versus enhancing decision-making by humans.

Digital transformation in most cases has a positive impact on the economy. However, there is a possibility of negative consequences that worsen the standard of life of the population. Society wants to avoid a decline in living standards. The state policy to minimize the risks of digitalization should be developed for these purposes. Digital transformation leads to the complication of the technological environment, to the deformation of social relations, to a change in decision-making processes. The complexity of the technogenic environment leads to increased cognitive distortions and irrational behavior. Living standards are declining as a result. Classical approaches to government regulation often do not take into account psychophysiological and sociocultural behavioral factors. As a result, the regulation does not have the expected effect. This is especially evident in situations of uncertainty and longtime intervals. Behavioral economics and nudge can help solve these problems. This article provides a systematization and description of the factors that determine behavior. Decision-making processes are characterized. A systematization and explanation of cognitive distortions is proposed. An overview of approaches to the use of nudges to prevent cognitive distortions is proposed. Cases of using nudges to reduce the risks of digitalization are presented.

In this article, taking into account the latest scientific achievements in the development of artificial neural networks, the problem concerning the process of obtaining knowledge by future law enforcement officers in the context of the transition to other previously unknown methods and forms of artificial intelligence implementation, including in the educational process, is identified. Based on the analysis of the epistemological essence of knowledge and asking questions: how and what should be taught to future lawyers, what knowledge and skills they will need in the future, the authors offer their own interactive educational methods for obtaining knowledge at a higher level. To solve the identified tasks and achieve the goal, using general scientific and private methods of cognition, the article analyzes the opinions of scientists who support the positive dynamics of education with the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and opponents of this concept. Based on the results of scientific research and their own pedagogical experience, the authors criticize the process of education in which it is proposed to maximize the use of artificial intelligence, replacing the teacher and teacher, since students receive information without using the capabilities and abilities of the human brain, ignoring many effective methods of cognition, which negatively affects the assimilation of information, obtaining new knowledge and developing independent skills. The authors defend the position that in the process of education, a synergy of artificial and natural intelligences is necessary, otherwise many of a person’s cognitive abilities may be lost. Based on the conducted research, it is concluded that in the era of modern times, completely different standards and principles of education are needed. And, despite all the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence technologies, the task of teachers, first of all, is to teach future law enforcement officers to develop their own intelligence, their personal cognitive abilities.

The article deals with the problem of the impact of virtual educational environment risks on the quality of education. From the perspective of pedagogical interaction as of the basis of a digital educational process, the article highlights the risks associated with external organizational conditions of the implementation of digital education. Among them, there is a risk of a lack of funding, of making inefficient management decisions, of insufficient legal regulation, of a lack of logistical support, and of restricted access to education. Psychological and pedagogical risks are didactic mistakes and defects in the organization of digital learning, and personal characteristics as obstacles to effective work – both due to the unpreparedness of the participants of pedagogical interaction to work in the virtual educational environment. The author expresses opinion of the different degrees of such risks manifestation and the occurrence of consequences for the quality of education. Based on the analysis of practical experience in the implementation of project technologies, recommendations are offered to prevent the negative consequences caused by the unpreparedness of teachers and students learning in virtual educational environment.

The virtualization of socio-economic processes is expressed in the development of various types of economic activities in the Internet computer network, acting as the infrastructure of the modern economic system, a catalyst for globalization processes, and the main means of communication between computers, information systems of various purposes and complexity, and people. The study of the theoretical and methodological problem of digital economy virtualization processes is due to the importance of determining the structure of virtualization as a set of interconnected industries, consumption, markets, and finance on the Internet. The elements of the system combine the types of economic activities, which include entrepreneurship on the Internet, as well as information and intellectual activities. The study of this problem was carried out using empirical methods of cognition of the structure of the system analysis of digital economy virtualization processes, along with the use of scientometric methods for reviewing the methodology of the educational process for training digital economy personnel and improving their qualifications as a precursor to the design of production processes, consumption, market and financial processes occurring in a digital environment. The conducted studies make it possible to obtain scientific results in the field of structuring the socio-economic processes of virtualization, namely: a dichotomy of virtualization processes in the digital economy is proposed, taking into account the factor of education; the positive and negative consequences of virtualization for the economy and society as a whole are identified. It was concluded in the course of the study that the system analysis of digital economy virtualization processes should be based on the development of the educational component and reflect the environment of virtualization processes, including digital platforms, which, first, form the global infrastructure of the world economy; second, they contribute to the development of entrepreneurship; third, they provide production, consumer, market and financial functions and corporate governance; fourth, they are a source of network externalities that create new social and economic problems. The prospect for further research is the development of a model for assessing the impact of the structure of virtualization processes on economic growth in the digital economy.

Based on an analysis of selected definitions of the terms used for society and culture, the author creates the sociological theoretical framework for the article. In conjunction with the characterized phenomenon of digital transformation, extensive and far-reaching conclusions are formulated on the impact of new technology for postmodernity. In relation to the scientific achievements of Buber and Tischner, the author deeply analyzes the assumptions of philosophy of dialogue. This allows the observation of a wide dimension in the relationship between the relational nature of social relations, the condition of the individual, the durability of the systems humans create, the technocratic direction of civilizational development and the consumerist attitude to reality in contemporary society of the 21st century. The author describes technological worship and presents the negative consequences of digital transformation processes. On the example of the service sector, the transition is presented as symbolic culture based on the relations and dialogue with technical and functional culture. The research method used in the article is a review of the scientific literature. In the study, the author set the goal of determining the impact of digital transformation on humans in the context of the definition of culture and society. As a result of the research, the author states that technological insight (i.e. looking at technology as a way of resolving all contemporary problems) has the danger of successively weakening man, and could lead to a deepening of social inequalities. The author also emphasizes the need to deepen research on the consequences of the digital transformation on society and culture and to develop models that can reduce the negative consequences of the change process.
