The distribution of goods is closely related to the cost of transportation. The transportation method used by the company will have a major impact on the company's profit. If the profit obtained by the company can be maximized, the company will be able to expand its business to become even bigger. The problem solving step is the determination of optimization criteria and optimization model development. These steps are used to optimize the cost of shipping goods to get maximum profit. The research obtained results namely the cost of shipping goods using the company's NWC method was optimal. It can be concluded that the method of shipping goods that has been carried out by the company has been optimal so that it can continue to be used for further business development, as well as providing an overview that should be done by the company.

Improving the efficiency of freight transport and industrial processes of forest complex is of great importance in the production activities of its business depends on many factors. The most important factor is the choice of the type operated by forestry staff and capacity of its units. In a scientific paper delivered and successfully solved the problem of determining the optimum load capacity of rolling stock unit forestry given distance transportation of timber cargo and average technical speed of vehicles in the transportation of timber cargo. At the same time optimal load unit Forestry rolling stock is determined by the conditions at the lowest cost to transport certain types of timber cargo and operational performance logging train (short log). The formula determining the cost of transportation of one ton (1 m3) timber cargo, which was the basis for the determination of the optimum load capacity of logging trucks. For greater clarity of how the optimal load on the logging train hauling timber (timber assortments) of the distance transportation, ways to perform loading and unloading operations and technical speed on the example of existing timber companies (Kulikovskii forestry) built a graph.

Determination of export price will give influences to company’s profit, image, and the competitiveness in the customers perspectives.  Determination of export price must be based on the applied international standards which refer to the International Commercial Terms or Incoterms. Incoterms always updated to follow developments of international trading therefore any Incoterms changes that occur will affect the determination.  The calculation of export price based on Incoterms is calculated based on cost of goods production, benefits, cost of packaging, loading costs, transportation, taxes and fees and the cost of transportation insurance. The results showed that most often-used Incoterms by company in gradation are FOB, CFR and CIF. Lastly, the higher use of Incoterms class by company has positive influence to increase corporate profit.

The transportation method is a method related to optimization model used to minimize the cost of transportation distribution. Distribution of products to various regions requires transportation costs are not small, it requires good planning in order for the availability of goods can be met. The purpose of this study, applying the transportation cost of hepatitis B vaccine distribution from PT. XYZ by using Least Cost Method as the initial solution and Modified Distribution Method (MODI) to optimize so that companies can know the cost of optimal vaccine distribution. The results showed the implementation of transportation model by PT. XYZ with the initial solution using the Least Cost Method obtained the cost of transportation distribution of Rp 45,874,100. then after the optimization of costs by using Modified distribution method the cost of transportation distribution becomes more optimal and the minimization of costs obtained to be Rp 45,767,100.

Regulation of the financial services authority (OJK) No. 31/POJK.05/2016 on Venture had arranged that the financial services agency on the basis of the law of pledge is in coaching and supervision OJK. Yet the existence of laws – invitation to Governing Enterprise pawn shops causing business activities conducted by the above parties are not yet regulated. The condition is feared could cause harm to the consumer society. The purpose of this research is to know the procedures, mechanisms, protection of goods and guarantee the consumer on an informal pledge financing, methods of determination of the cost of maintenance of the goods and the goods of the execution mechanism of the pledge as well as protection for the collateral items are viewed from the side of the consumer by looking at laws-invitations and Sharia. To find out whether the pledge have gotten permission from OJK. This research uses qualitative research methods with the study of library research, field data and simulations. The approach used in this study is the empirical juridical approach. Elaboration upon the results is discussed further in this article.

Providing a safe and healthy workplace is one of the most effective strategies in for holding down the cost of doing construction business. It was a part of the overall management system to facilitate themanagement of the occupational health and safety risk that are associated with the business of the organization. Factors affected the awareness level inclusive of safety and health conditions, dangerous working area, long wait care and services and lack of emergency communication werethe contributed factors to the awareness level for the operational level. Total of 122 incidents happened at Telekom Malaysia Berhad as compared to year 2015 only 86 cases. Thus, the main objective of this study was to determine the relationship between safety and health factors and the awareness level among operational workers.The determination of this research was to increase the awareness level among the operational level workerswho committing to safety and health environment.

For twenty decades, there is a visible ever forward advancement in the technology of mobility, vehicles and transportation system in general. However, there is no "cure-all" remedy ideal enough to solve all life problems but mathematics has proven that if the problem can be determined, it is most likely solvable. New methods and applications will keep coming to making sure that life problems will be solved faster and easier. This study is to adopt a mathematical transportation problem in the Coca-Cola company aiming to help the logistics department manager of the Asejire and Ikeja plant to decide on how to distribute demand by the customers and at the same time, minimize the cost of transportation. Here, different algorithms are used and compared to generate an optimal solution, namely; North West Corner Method (NWC), Least Cost Method (LCM) and Vogel’s Approximation Method (VAM). The transportation model type in this work is the Linear Programming as the problems are represented in tables and results are compared with the result obtained on Maple 18 software. The study shows various ways in which the initial basic feasible solutions to the problem can be obtained where the best method that saves the highest percentage of transportation cost with for this problem is the NWC. The NWC produces the optimal transportation cost which is 517,040 units.

The purpose of this study is to study the maximization of business profits through the determination of the optimal use of production factors in the trawl ring business in Latuhalat. Observations and direct interviews based on questionnaires were carried out on 3 fishermen who owned trawl ring businesses in 3 hamlets in Latuhalat. Data were analyzed using business profit analysis methods and linear programming analysis. The results showed that: 1). The optimal use of production factors for trawling by the respondents in Latuhalat is 41 - 45 trips in June using 15.2 - 21.1 liters of gasoline, 280.9 - 304.4 liters of gasoline, 10.1 - 21 , 2 liters of oil, using labor as much as 15-17 people for 8 hours / day, and using transportation and FAD services as much as 351.3 - 360 HOK or 8 hours per day; and 2). The maximum profit that can be obtained from trawling rings by respondents in Latuhalat is Rp. 165,545,500 - up to Rp. 184,800,000, - in June. To achieve this maximum profit, respondents need to produce 25,270.3 kg of fish to 27,540.98 kg in June.

This study aims to determine the determination of the cost of production for products produced by PT. DWA. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing industry specialized in automotive components. Its activity is carried out through a series of production processes, so that expenses spent in the production will be calculated into the cost of the production sold. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies in Jakarta. Convenience sampling method selected one of the companies that get the confidence to assemble three national car project in Indonesia, namely Timor, Bakrie and Maleo. Test analysis used in this study is to test the calculation of full costing with job order costing. This study shows that (a) determination of the cost elements associated with the cost of production and (b) determining the cost of production on a product-based job costing with full costing approach.                                                              AbstrakKomunitas memasak Chef Depok adalah kelompok  wanita yang ingin meningkatkan kemampuan dan wawasan dalam bidang kuliner, dan ingin mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan dengan membuat berbagai masakan terutama roti manis. Kelompok ini masih memiliki masalah. Mitra belum bisa menentukan harga pokok produk dengan benar, belum mempunyai pembukuan, dan kondisi produk yang tidak konsisten. Pengembangan usaha rumahan pembuat roti manis anggota komunitas memasak Chef Depok telah dilakukan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Perbaikan dan pendampingan manajemen usaha; dan 2) Standarisasi proses pembuatan roti manis sehingga produk yang dihasilkan konsisten dan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Tim abdimas bertindak sebagai fasilitator dan telah melakukan pendampingan untuk menentukan harga pokok produk dan pembukuan sederhana.   Selain itu mitra telah mengetahui cara produksi pangan yang baik, standarisasi resep, dan penerapan higiene dan sanitasi yang baik sehingga dihasilkan produk roti manis yang konsisten. Pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitra terhadap materi yang diberikan meningkat rata-rata sebesar 57.75%.  Kata kunci—Komunitas Chef Depok, roti manis, harga pokok produk, pembukuan sederhana, cara produksi yang baik, higienis  Abstract        The Depok Chef cooking community is a group of women who want to improve ability and insight in the culinary field, and want to earn income additions by making various dishes, especially sweet bread. This group is still have a problem. Partners have not been able to determine the cost of goods properly, not yet have accounting, and inconsistent product conditions. Business development home made sweet bread maker member of the Chef Depok cooking community. Aim these activities are: 1) Improvement and mentoring of business management; and 2) Standardization the process of making sweet bread so that the resulting product is consistent and in accordance with which are desired. The abdimas team acts as a facilitator and has provided assistance to determine the cost of goods and simple bookkeeping. In addition partners have know how to produce good food, standardize recipes, and apply hygiene and good sanitation to produce consistent sweet bread products.
